Notice the price action here with volume. Retail is trained to see the price taking off and is tempted by FOMO to chase it. Wow, big news, this stock is breaking out right? Yes, it is.... But, you don't want to chase because if you do, you can't set reasonable stops and when it retraces, you lose your trade. You really need to buy lows/sell highs but that is hard to do because that is how the market is set up.
