Yes, but the parallel channel constructed down from the actual top will be resistance and has not yet been reached. That would be the channel that most traders would be looking at (I would certainly think), and it still could be formidable resistance. It seems that your channel was drawn by connecting 3 lows after the high and then setting a parallel to go thru the 17k area high on 1/6, but the upper channel line is not connected to the actual high. So does this mean you think that the (main) channel high not yet reached is going to fail straight away? I'm not suggesting that your channel is incorrect; just wondering if you could please elaborate.
