Nothing fancy being used, just an ascending wedge breakout. 23k is now looking more and more probable. Significant volume is still to be seen, though the previous ascending wedge breakout gathered momentum as the price went up, so we might see a repeat of that.

@benactonbond, No worries. I had a really amazing technical analyst tell me once that the most bullish pattern is a bearish pattern that breaks in the unexpected way. Rising wedges are, per the text book, bearish patterns so when they break up they are all the more bullish because they trap the bears expecting a breakdown of the wedge. Your chart reminded me of that old bit of wisdom. Happy Holidays.
