death cross is almost inevitable at this point. Herein lies a projection for the exact date based on where the 200 MA (white line) and 50 MA (orange line) seem to be headed. This is a very bearish signal and could potentially trigger an prolonged bear market.
However the last death cross on 9/14/2015 followed the $316 > $198.02 correction. After about 3 weeks of sideways following the death cross, a massive bull run began. Only time will tell what is in store for the corn.

A bit late on the update and early on the prediction but the cross happened 3/29 as the MAs flattened out. Soon after other exchanges followed as well.
The range here is getting extremely tight. Barring a (likely) swing in either direction, current projection is 3/21. Will update once a clearer direction is established.
