@TonyCryptano, I don't think so, this was based on TA and FA and seemingly FA set it off very friendly, wormhole / coinburn and hard fork seems to be a catalyst for bullish price action in this sector

@TonyCryptano, well, a lot of it is based on buy the rumor sell the news.
Let's say there's an EMC2 announces today something will happen on 20th, price will actually go up short term more than on 20th, mainly because many people in this market looking for short term trades.
There's a few things that are catalyst for bullish price action, such as what I stated in comment, coinburn (they burn some of supply so price goes up), rebrandings have been big but of course they have to be a success (antshares -> neo), hardforks, also airdrops , for example NXT announced ignis airdrop, for 1 nxt u get .5 ingis, on announcement price of nxt was 17 cents and ignis starting 57 cents so at time if you bought into nxt you literally can expect free 2x$... of course we can expect this to drive price up, since then nxt has seen 400% gains as people trying to buy and hold to claim ignis or free $

@TheCryptoLabs, truthfully that is most of it, and of course news and rumors (emc2 rumor of apple acquisition, i dont believe it but many do so we can expect to go up, and probably go down hard around time people find out its not true since expectations are set high and price action will not be very favorable relative to expectations)
