EOS founded Brock Pierce and Dan Larimer is one the most promising projects of 2018. It promises millions of tx per second to scale dApps built on its infrastructure and if true, will pave the way for mainstream utility and adoption. The people and the team have a strong track record in blockchain related startups with Brock being a billionaire founder of Blockchain Capital and Dan, a prominent developer who made successful tokens such as Steemit and BitShares.
One of the largest ICOs in history, raising $1billion so far in an ongoing ICO up until June 2018 will enable the company to help developers launch upwards pf 1000 dApps simultaneously on launch day (Ethereum has 1 active, successful dApp CryptoKitties). To say that should this coin be successful in it's endeavour, it'll be a top 3 market cap contender, potentially catching up to Ethereum's market cap and see upwards of 50x current prices over 2 years.

There are many new sets accruing to the EOS sub set as modelspace is moved throughout the year, however, the larger levels of growth appear in Fall (northern hemisphere). Ethereum peaked to $350 in June 2017 when they announced their platform was complete and ready for DApps at a $30bn market cap. Accordingly, adjusting for the new money in this space as well as the greater perceived potential, a $40-50bn market cap for EOS should easily be achieved thereby resulting in 8-10x growth upwards to $100 per EOS. Presuming the launch goes well, I would not be surprised if the hype blows out of proportion and we see a moonshot at $200-300 per EOS.
