ETCUSD: Bulls ran out of time... Singkat

Ethereum Classic / DollarBitfinex

Huraian

As the chart shows, we have an explosive bearish trend in the making here. Already active and valid, but will escalate badly once we break the lowest swing low in the chart here. I'd reccomend to stay away from ETC overall, as I have been doing for a long time, since returns form it have typically lagged the returns of ETH, due to fundamentals mainly, but also the positioning of so many traders who hoped for the next big thing courtesy of their Messiah, Barry Shillbert...Well, Barry sure appreciated your support all this time as he dumped on you. This coin has no developers, no future, and a bearish chart.
Hopefully people sell it or at least reconsider their positions' weight.

Best of luck,

Ivan Labrie.

Waiting for buying to be absorbed before entering short here. Technical traders started buying BTC but I believe longer term smart money is selling. They will either sell into their buying here for a sideways move during a few days, or let them buy and short again higher. If price erases last week's range, then buyers won.

People are drawing this big triangle thing and expecting this but, I doubt the market will please them:

I set an alarm and a couple price alerts to wait for a while to reenter shorts.

-talking about BTC, I believe alts are just tracking it now.-

Should start accelerating.

Covered here, I'd wait in cash, overall trend is down longer term but can be volatile. Just, whatever you do, don't go buying shitcoins.

How do you guys become top traders? I'm shocked.
IvanLabrie
@fakhan, how?

Being accurate and succesful in most of my trades, with winnings outpacing losses reliably for a few years already.

Now people might buy likes and/or spam posts to game the ranking system here though...I never did that myself.

I take it you're not familiar with my work...judging me because you disagree with my idea here, which is still potentially valid btw despite this bounce here.

This one is not fully up to date, I could update it soon: pastebin.com/6CyyqnPT

Then just check every publication I made for crypto pairs, you will be eating some humble pie.
Jefe
@IvanLabrie, I don't know about any of your other ideas but this right here is what I'm willing to follow. Let's see who's right and who's wrong. I'll follow this from here on out.
IvanLabrie
@fakhan, follow what sorry?
Jefe
@IvanLabrie, I'm following this post. I'll see you in a few weeks
IvanLabrie
@fakhan, ah ok gotcha. I perceived some malice in your tone but it's all good. I'm happy to be proven wrong if it has to be that way. The signal is a forecast but also a set of conditionals, if I see signs that it is becoming a failure, I would know I can take the other side safely, etc.
Different timeframe signals chain in sets of conditionals that guide us. It's a good way to think of it, not marry a forecast, or an opinion, and feel emotionally connected to its success or failure. So, yeah, all good man. Just didn't take it nicely, that you question my ability from only seeing one post. :p
It's a natural reaction for any human, so, at least you know I'm not a bot haha.
Cheers!
Jefe
@IvanLabrie, My good friend I'm alarmed that you as a top trader actually think like that. This is why I said I'll follow this and we'll talk about it in a few weeks. Just like you I'm learning new things everyday. I mean no harm or ill will. We're here to contribute and exchange opinions.
IvanLabrie
@fakhan, haha, I'm a human like anyone else. No one enjoys people's criticism, or snarky remarks. When someone mocks you, it is practically an attack. It's hard for anyone to take it nicely.

It's ok, all good my friend.
Jefe
@IvanLabrie, It's okay to be wrong on some calls. All of us make mistakes but this here is different. This is not a timing mistake. This has to do with your fundamental approach to cryptocurrencies in general and Ethereum Classic in particular. This is not forex. Most rules don't apply. Some people learn it the hard way. One of my chart shows a head and shoulders on Bitcoin's weekly chart. Is it a head and shoulders? Yes. Is it technically correct? Yes. Does it generally correct? NO. Technical analysis is just one metric. Other factors like fundamental analysis, market psychology, news, developments etc play an equally important role in markets like these.
IvanLabrie
@fakhan, oh ok. Well, you can review my publications like I said, my track record speaks for me here. You underestimated me, thinking I'm a newb or at least you are not familiar with how I trade and approach trading. The methodology I use is quite effective, and I do consider fjundamentals and sentiment as well. If you refuse to review my publications, then I can't tell you more. In a few weeks we will see how things go.
In my defense, contact any of my clients, they can attest to what we have been doing, trading wise.
Good night
