The way I'm seeing this is that heavy investors pulled substantial amount of money of BTC to move it to ETH. Pulling money of BTC caused the correction, then, knowing ETH would track and go down along BTC, they bought ETH on the low. No chart pattern could predict this, that's why I always suggest to my friends to have short-loss/short-limits on crypto (or any other investment)
