Key Points:
- Ranging between $240-$260.

I like Litecoin. It has movements similar to Bitcoin and can provide stronger ROI without the unaffordable price tag. It's also far from the the next big barrier of $1,000, a level that Ethereum struggles to stay above and a support line that Dash is establishing. Litecoin has plenty of headroom before reaching $1000 and to that end I view it as pretty dam good value.
As before however, Litecoin's fate appears to fall into the hands of Big Brother Bitcoin, and as such will continue to travel sideways until the bigger coin finds direction first. Should Bitcoin reprice to the $6000-$9000 range there's a very good chance Litecoin could touch $100.
There's some scenario's which may make Litecoin my next hero by finding it's own path rather than being a follower:
- New market entrants and value hunting investors decide that Litecoin has better ROI potential and invest.
- Bitcoin Hodl'ers decide it's time for the rise of altcoins and seek value by jumping from digital gold to digital silver.
- Litecoin roadmapped technology announcements rising the profile of Litecoin and creating demand.
If there's a coin that is viewed as the "Silver" rather than the competitor of Bitcoin, it's Litecoin. To that end a decoupling from Bitcoin price movements seems unlikely, though 2018 will prove to be uncertain times for Cryptos. Should it convert from "little brother" to competitor, Litecoin price movements could follow Dash's rise above $1000.
Currently floating around $248, further away from it's all time high and closer to it's previous price drop.
