But a rising tide raises all boats in the marina, and litecoin' has enjoyed a nice run as of late. But this is not due to Litecoin' going after areas where peer to peer transfers are at the forefront of an evolutionary way we trade, barter and exchange, it's simply (in my opinion) because they are on coinbase and cheap! I mean talk about watching paint dry, this was like adding a second coat. But there was a glimmer of hope when I saw a tweet by Charlie that they are starting a marketing campaign. Now that is what I want to hear as a coin holder, but it's also what I want to hear when my daughter is going out on a date and tells me she will be home at 10.
The EW' wave count is pretty clear and as we enter the last leg of wave III I will look to trade the breakout of the previous high and may add once coinbase settles down. Now I understand it traded much higher on some exchanges, and if coinbase was setup for margin trading there were several opportunities for an arbitrage trade, but you cannot transfer USD' from exchange to exchange making arbitrage difficult and not worth the effort. Believe me I was looking for any way to trade it this weekend. The difference in $40 on coinbase vs other exchanges adds credibility to the fact that this was U.S. money flowing into the crypto space this week, and for good reason. It's all the hype!
So why Charlie Brown is twittering funny pics, providing his insight on Iota' and posting "look a new high", Dash' is posting on its integration with Uphold, it's newly funded television show, and it's progressions and outlook. On litecoin. org I can go to the forum, litecoin' telegraph, and I can also download a wallet for blackberry (really does anyone own one of these other than Hillary Clinton?). If I'm a merchant and want to accept "a" crypto currencies directly, I can go to Dash's website and sign up as a merchant, as well as see a list of merchants already accepting DASH'. Is it huge? No but it's better than nothing! Dash's website quite frankly blows Litecoin’s out of the boat yard and so does their marketing campaign.
But as U.S. customers flow into crypto currencies they go to coinbase. Coinbase provides a whopping three currencies to buy and Litecoin' is lucky to be one or it would be trading at $35 in my opinion. To be frank and honest I use it mainly to transfer to other exchanges in order to trade alts. I buy LTC' on coinbase and transfer to an exchange where I buy the likes of DASH'. But I am not buying it because it is the best P2P out there. I buy it because it is on coinbase, it is cheap, and it is efficient in transferring to other exchanges (there's the use). I think many new to the space go on coinbase, see three coins, and go "wow this one is cheap" and buy it.
Simply put it is the K-Mart’ of crypto currencies!
