mates, here's an example of a gartley pattern. Unlike gartley advanced formation it is a harmonic patttern and is never traded with limit orders. The pattern must hit 0.786XA and ab=cd levels to be a completed one. After the pattern is completed I calculate the stop level as 1 atr below X. Typically I wait for a priceaction to confirm the reversal. Ideally I want to see a higher high higher close candle, but watever bullish close will be a good indication. I call this candle a "Trigger candle". Don't be confused with "Terminal Price Bar". In this approach we don't use it. The D-point is the lowest post prior to the trigger candle. Unlike advanced patterns the D-point is never moved when price goes lower. That's why we don't have any target adjustment here
