So in case if you guys want to know why I withdraw here and there. I look a the charts for hours 24/7 and get lost into them. I want to know. I now simplified my system into very few symbols. I look for simplicity and I read books on patience. Trading is not about money for me right now (thanks God :) it's about a mental challenge.

Uptrend, sideways, and downtrend. 3 different animals and 3 different approaches. If we can't distinguish we can't exploit.

99% of rubbish is around us. It's hard to shake off.

If we want to beat the algos and the HFT (on those algo crazy days like today) we have to stand in the front of the action (stop limits). We can't catch up with the mountain creeks. If they knock us down and carry us down the current we're the winners. The water is icy cold though.

I just came back from 7/11. Met a 48 year old (looked like 38 and smiling) Asian guy there who bought cigarettes and smoked. I talked to him and told him he was wrong. Beer is the way to go. Healthy lungs and plenty of hydration. Healthy. He is wrong.
