This is very possibly due to BTC crash. XLM have resisted the BTC crash very well.

Not saying I disagree with your analysis, but XLM often does not adhere to negative TA, as most of the people who hold it do so purely on fundamentals and not trend. Maybe you are right on this one though, lets see.
