Bosnia's industrial sales rise 11.9% y/y in Oct

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 8 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's industrial sales rose by 11.9% on the year in October, after growing by an annual 22.9% on the year in September, the country's statistical office said.

Industrial sales on the non-domestic market rose by 15.2% year-on-year in October, while sales on the domestic market grew by 7.7%, the statistical office said in a monthly report last week.

In October, sales of capital goods rose by 26.7% on an annual comparison basis, sales of non-durable consumer goods increased 25.3%, and sales of intermediate goods rose 10%.

Energy sales decreased 10%, while sales of durable consumer goods fell 4.9% compared to October 2021.

On a monthly comparison basis, industrial sales fell 4.3% in October, following a revised increase of 5.5% in September.

Bosnia's industrial sales increased by 27.8% on the year in the first 10 months of this year.

Its industrial sales rose by 20.5% year-on-year in 2021.
