Bosnia's Federation net electricity output down 28% y/y in Oct

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 8 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation stood at 528 GWh in October, down from 735 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said.

Electricity imports fell to 34 GWh in October from 61 GWh in October 2021, while exports dropped to 51 GWh from 433 GWh, the entity's statistical office said last week.

The net electricity output of hydropower plants fell to 153 GWh in October, from 204 GWh in the same month of 2021, while the output of thermal power plants declined to 354 GWh from 506 GWh.

The Federation's net electricity output in October was 1.3% lower than in September.

Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports fell 51% in October, while exports declined 3.8%.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
