Swedish c.bank's Jansson says need to get inflation down quickly

Getting inflation down to the Swedish central bank's 2% target in a reasonably short time is important in keeping inflation expectations in check and preventing a wage price spiral, Deputy Governor Per Jansson said on Friday.

"It's better to bring inflation down relatively fast because the consequences of a loss of confidence in our abilty to do that would be much worse," he said during a speech.
