Bed Bath & Beyond announces offering of convertible preferred stock

Bed Bath Beyond Inc (BBBY.O) on Monday announced a proposed underwritten public offering of shares of the company's Series A convertible preferred stock.

The company said it expects to raise about $225 million of gross proceeds in offering.
