SPY : Year End Analysis

Another year , another double digit return for the SPY. The trading year is not over yet , but I assume the SPY will finish the year with ~ 15 % return,including all dividend payment. 2014 has been pretty volatile for the SPY , with avg volatility at 11.6 % ( as of 12/29/2014) . October was by far the most volatile month this year, but the SPY end up positive with a return 3.02 %. Only 3 losing month this year , JAN ( -2.96 %) , JUL ( -2.33 %), and SEP ( - 2.58 %).

For 2015 :

- I expect the SPY to continue trading in the same channel in 2015.
- Expect more volatility next year
- i hate making forecast, but I expect single digit return next year , ~ 7% - 9 %

As of right now the SPY is still trading above it's 200 moving average , so this trade remains open.

Total return % since last signal ( 12/31/2011) : 76.82% ( dividend included)
