$ZS Beats on Earnings / Trying to Breakout

ZS I have most relevant info on chart. I have an alert set on the upper resistance line on the chart. It did exceed that but pulled back in this tough market. I will be looking for both the market to improve (who knows?) and ZS to break above that area.

The bad is both the market and ZS did put in a lower low most recently. In any event this is high on my watchlist even for a pullback and rally play.

Zscaler (ZS) reported earnings of $0.64 per share on revenue of $455.01 million for the fiscal fourth quarter ended July 2023. The consensus earnings estimate was $0.49 per share on revenue of $430.38 million. The Earnings Whisper number was $0.52 per share. The company beat expectations by 23.08% while revenue grew 43.06% on a year-over-year basis.

The company said it expects first-quarter non-GAAP earnings of $0.48 to $0.49 per share on revenue of $472.0 million to $474.0 million. The consensus earnings estimate is $0.46 per share on revenue of $464.60 million for the October 31, 2023 quarter. The company also said it expects fiscal 2024 non-GAAP earnings of $2.20 to $2.25 per share on revenue of $2.050 billion to $2.065 billion. The consensus earnings estimate is $2.10 per share on revenue of $2.05 billion for the year ending July 31, 2024.
