Sunil Singhania's Abakkus picks over Rs 10 crore worth shares in workspaces provider
Sunil Singhania-owned Abakkus Asset Manager's Abakkus Diversified Alpha Fund - 2 acquired 0.35 percent equity stake in EFC (I) via open market transactions on October 8.
EFC (I) shares finished the session at Rs 304.95, up 2.88 percent after significant volatility.
Abakkus Diversified Alpha Fund has bought 3.5 lakh shares in EFC at Rs 296.1 per share, valued at Rs 10.36 crore, from Forbes EMF.
As of June 2025, Forbes EMF held 1.51 percent stake (15 lakh shares) in the company.
The brisk action was also seen in RBL Bank, which soared 4.72 percent to Rs 286.45. France-based Societe Generale acquired 33.22 lakh shares (0.54 percent stake) at Rs 284 per share, for Rs 94.36 crore.
Zelio E Mobility shares saw healthy buying interest on its market debut, rising 19.56 percent to Rs 162.6. Bonanza Portfolio bought 2 lakh shares for Rs 3.1 crore, Param Capital purchased 10 lakh shares for Rs 15.49 crore, and Sanjay Popatlal Jain 3.75 lakh shares for Rs 5.8 crore. All of them acquired these shares at Rs 154.9 per share.
Among others, Aegis Investment Fund picked 1 lakh shares in Eimco Elecon (India) at Rs 2,201.95 per share for Rs 22.01 crore, and Samyaktva Construction LLP bought 1.49 crore shares in Infibeam Avenues at Rs 19.12 per share, valued at Rs 28.51 crore.
