Corn, soybean barge bids steady to lower
Basis bids for corn and soybeans shipped by barge to U.S. Gulf Coast terminals were steady to lower on Monday, traders said.
Cash basis bids for soybeans were flat to lower at processors on Monday, and corn basis bids were flat to lower at river terminals and ethanol plants in the U.S. Midwest.
Freight rates for empty barges for the spot market eased over the weekend in some spots along the Mississippi River, two brokers said. (BG/US)

FOB export premiums for corn shipped from the Gulf in September ticked down a penny at 114 cents over September futures. October offers held at 97 cents over December futures (CZ25).
CIF Gulf soybean barge bids for July loadings were 83 cents over August futures (SQ25), down about 1 cent from Friday. August bids were down 6 cents to 83 cents over futures.
FOB export premiums for soybeans shipped from the Gulf in the first-half of September were steady at 94 cents over August futures.
