Centrica extends life of two UK nuclear stations until 2028

British Gas owner Centrica CNA said on Tuesday it has extended the life of two of its UK nuclear power stations in which it has a 20% share.

Heysham 1 and Hartlepool power stations are now expected to generate electricity until March 2028, it said.
