Nestle shares at 6 months low after RIG miss
** Shares in Nestle NESN fall around 3% to their lowest since late January, with analysts pointing to a miss on its real internal growth (RIG), a sales volume metric, and weakness in Greater China
** Nestle said sales declined in Greater China, negatively impacting its Q2 organic growth and RIG by 70 bps and 40 bps, respectively
** "The majority of our conversations over the past week have centered on RIG, with the market seeming to be quite focused on volume performance for Consumer Staples names so far this quarter," Bernstein analysts say in a note
** In this sense, they note the quarter is a "disappointment", with RIG slipping to negative territory at -0.4%, around 60bps behind sell-side consensus
** The RIG miss suggests that more patience may be needed, Citi says in a note
** "We fear this print may not be enough to alleviate concerns on the pace of volume recovery," it adds
