Mexico second quarter private spending up 1.2% from prior three months

Mexican private spending increased 1.2% during the second quarter of the year compared with the previous three-month period, the national statistics agency said on Friday.

Annually, private spending was 0.4% lower in the second quarter.

Aggregate demand increased 1.4% from the previous quarter, and was also up 0.3% from the same period a year earlier.
