Romania's 7-month consolidated budget deficit at 4.04%/GDP-finmin data

Romania's seven-month consolidated budget deficit stood at 4.04% of economic output, compared with a gap of 4.02% in the same period of last year and 3.68% at end-June, finance ministry data showed on Thursday.

In nominal terms, the deficit stood at 76.4 billion lei. Revenue amounted to 370.8 billion lei, or 19.6% of output. With a deficit target of 7% of output out of reach, the coalition government expects the shortfall to come in at around 8%.
