Diös signs lease with AFRY in central Östersund
In September 2026, Diös welcomes the engineering and design company AFRY to a new office of approximately 1,200 sqm on Kyrkgatan in central Östersund. The parties have signed a five-year green lease agreement for the premises, which is being developed with a focus on supporting AFRY’s way of working.
AFRY is an international engineering, design and consulting company for the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors. The company has offices in 50 countries with a total of 18,000 employees, of which about 75 are based in Östersund.
"We see the new premises as an investment in our future – the central location makes it easier for our customers to reach us, while at the same time providing an attractive workplace for both current and future employees. The property we are moving into has a long and rich heritage, which we see as a valuable aspect. Prior to moving in, the premises will undergo renovations, including the creation of new meeting rooms and social spaces. Diös and AFRY have signed a green lease agreement, meaning that the parties will jointly design the spaces with the ambition to reduce climate impact and energy use.

AFRY's office will be established on the premises that Bonnier will vacate shortly after the turn of the year. Bonnier is relocating within Diös' portfolio to a previously vacant premises of 919 sqm on Rådhusgatan. In total, the deal covers just over 2,100 sqm, with Diös investing SEK 31 million at a yield-on-cost of 8.5 percent.
