📌 Adjusted ATR [by Jaxon0007]
The Adjusted Average True Range (ATR) is a custom volatility indicator designed to expand upon the traditional ATR by introducing flexible scaling and normalization options.
This tool helps traders identify market volatility shifts, spot potential entry/exit zones, and confirm market conditions with enhanced clarity.
🔑 Key Features
Original ATR vs Adjusted ATR
Plots both the standard ATR and a custom-adjusted version for direct comparison.
Adjustment Controls
Multiplier → Scale ATR values for sensitivity tuning.
Normalize → Express ATR as a percentage of price for cross-asset comparability.
Signal Line (SMA)
A moving average of Adjusted ATR for smoother volatility tracking.
Visual Buy/Sell Markers
Green ▲ when Adjusted ATR crosses above its signal line (bullish).
Red ▼ when Adjusted ATR crosses below its signal line (bearish).
🎯 How to Use
Volatility Confirmation → Rising Adjusted ATR indicates stronger market movement, falling ATR suggests reduced volatility.
Trend Filter → Use crossovers between Adjusted ATR and its signal line to filter trade setups.
Normalization → Compare volatility across different instruments by enabling percentage mode.
