Interactive SAR Stop-Loss [TANHEF]This indicator is "Interactive" which means some inputs can are manually added through the first click after adding the indicator to the chart (SAR Trailing Stop-loss start point).
Unlike the normal Parabolic SAR, this indicator allows for the modification of the start point of the Parabolic SAR’s first bar calculation. Normally, the Parabolic SAR automatically has a start point after the first bar of an asset’s historical price that will then switch between trailing above and below price respectively. It must be noted that due to how the first position of the Parabolic SAR is calculated, on occasion the Parabolic SAR will immediately flip on the next bar to the opposite side relative to price that it was just located. Modifying the setting “⭐Initial Interactive SAR Position Source”, then selecting either 'Clicked' or 'ATR' level as the vertical start position will prevent this. See images below for more explanation.
Why use a trailing stop-loss?
A trailing stop-loss provides an exit when price moves against you but also enables you to move the exit point further into profit when price is moving in the desired direction of a trade. The Parabolic SAR ( stop and reverse ) which is used to determine price direction as well as when price direction is changing, is very effective at functioning as a trailing stop loss.
Indicator Explanation
Initially when this indicator is added to the chart, you will be prompted to select where to begin the SAR Trailing Stop-loss.
For a long stop-loss, select below price.
For a short stop-loss, select above price.
After this indicator is placed, it can be modified via dragging or from within the settings by modifying the time and the price input. Or simply re-add the indicator to the chart. Another option is to have this Parabolic SAR begin directly on the price that was initially ‘Clicked’ or the ‘ATR’ level, which requires selecting the option in settings labeled “⭐Initial Interactive SAR Position Source”
The SAR Stop Loss plotted. Note that the calculation that occurs on this first bar of the ‘Interactive SAR’ is as if the prior bar was the oldest historical bar of the asset. Due to the SAR’s calculations, if the ‘Normal SAR’ were to also flip sides over to the position that has been manually set for the ‘Interactive SAR’, they won’t necessarily have the same result.
An optional fixed profit target can be added within the settings. This profit target will only actively be plotted when the SAR Trailing Stop-loss has not be hit yet or until the profit target has been hit.
Here shows that the profit target was hit, then later on the SAR Trailing Stop-loss was hit.
Note, trailing stop-loss will continue to be plotted until it has been hit regardless of the profit target being hit or not.
Here is an example of when the Parabolic SAR will immediately flip on the next bar to the opposite side relative to price that it was just first located. This is due to how the Parabolic SAR is calculated and will also occur with the traditional Parabolic SAR that is not interactively (manually) given a start location. To prevent this, either relocate this time in which this SAR beings or consider modifying the SAR’s (start, increment, max) settings specifically.
Here instead of using the SAR’s calculation for an initial bar, the ‘ATR’ was selected as the start point within the setting “⭐Initial Interactive SAR Position Source”.

STD-Filtered, Variety FIR Digital Filters w/ ATR Bands [Loxx]STD-Filtered, Variety FIR Digital Filters w/ ATR Bands is a FIR Digital Filter indicator with ATR bands. This indicator contains 12 different digital filters. Some of these have already been covered by indicators that I've recently posted. The difference here is that this indicator has ATR bands, allows for frequency filtering, adds a frequency multiplier, and attempts show causality by lagging price input by 1/2 the period input during final application of weights. Period is restricted to even numbers.
The 3 most important parameters are the frequency cutoff, the filter window type and the "causal" parameter.

What are FIR Filters?
In discrete-time signal processing, windowing is a preliminary signal shaping technique, usually applied to improve the appearance and usefulness of a subsequent Discrete Fourier Transform. Several window functions can be defined, based on a constant (rectangular window), B-splines, other polynomials, sinusoids, cosine-sums, adjustable, hybrid, and other types. The windowing operation consists of multipying the given sampled signal by the window function. For trading purposes, these FIR filters act as advanced weighted moving averages.
A finite impulse response (FIR) filter is a filter whose impulse response (or response to any finite length input) is of finite duration, because it settles to zero in finite time. This is in contrast to infinite impulse response (IIR) filters, which may have internal feedback and may continue to respond indefinitely (usually decaying).
The impulse response (that is, the output in response to a Kronecker delta input) of an Nth-order discrete-time FIR filter lasts exactly {\displaystyle N+1}N+1 samples (from first nonzero element through last nonzero element) before it then settles to zero.
FIR filters can be discrete-time or continuous-time, and digital or analog.
A FIR filter is (similar to, or) just a weighted moving average filter, where (unlike a typical equally weighted moving average filter) the weights of each delay tap are not constrained to be identical or even of the same sign. By changing various values in the array of weights (the impulse response, or time shifted and sampled version of the same), the frequency response of a FIR filter can be completely changed.
An FIR filter simply CONVOLVES the input time series (price data) with its IMPULSE RESPONSE. The impulse response is just a set of weights (or "coefficients") that multiply each data point. Then you just add up all the products and divide by the sum of the weights and that is it; e.g., for a 10-bar SMA you just add up 10 bars of price data (each multiplied by 1) and divide by 10. For a weighted-MA you add up the product of the price data with triangular-number weights and divide by the total weight.
What is a Standard Deviation Filter?
If price or output or both don't move more than the (standard deviation) * multiplier then the trend stays the previous bar trend. This will appear on the chart as "stepping" of the moving average line. This works similar to Super Trend or Parabolic SAR but is a more naive technique of filtering.

TFO + ATR Strategy with Trailing Stop LossThis strategy is an experiment to learn what happens when The Trend Flex Oscillator (by Dr. John Ehlers) is used in conjunction with a volatility indicator like ATR. It was designed with cryptocurrency trading in mind.
The way I coded this experiment makes it unsuitable for bear market conditions.
When applied to a bull market, this trend-following strategy will open long positions when oversold price action appear to be reversing. It will typically close a position within a few days unless it gets caught in a bear market, in which case it holds on for dear life. I have tried to make back-testing very simple, but you should never trust it. It's merely and interesting tool for adjusting the many parameters that I've made editable in the configuration window. Those values include the ATR and TFO parameters, as well as setting a trailing stop loss. When closing a position, the strategy can optionally be told to ignore the trend analysis and only obey the trailing stop loss value. I've made an attempt to allow the user to define the minimum profit necessary to allow the strategy to close all all positions. In my observations, the 2H candlestick charts seem to produce the best results, although the parameters of the strategy could theoretically be adjusted to suit other time periods.
In summary...
This strategy has a bias for HODL (Holds on to Losses) meaning that it provides NO STOP LOSS protection!
Also note that the default behavior is designed for up to 15 open long orders, and executes one order to close them all at once.
Opening a long position is predicated on The Trend Flex Oscillator (TFO) rising after being oversold, and ATR above a certain volatility threshold.
Closing a long is handled either by TFO showing overbought while above a certain ATR level, or the Trailing Stop Loss. Pick one or both.
If the strategy is allowed to sell before a Trailing Stop Loss is triggered, you can set a "must exceed %". Do not mistake this for a stop loss.
Short positions are not supported in this version. Back-testing should NEVER be considered an accurate representation of actual trading results.

Trailing Stop AlertsThis script is designed as an ATR-based trailing stop tool to assist in managing open positions.
Once you're involved in a profitable trade, if you add this script to your chart you'll be prompted to select a bar to begin trailing from.
You can then adjust the candle lookback distance for swing high/lows (7 by default), the ATR multiplier (1.0 by default), and the direction to trail (Long/Short).

[KL] Relative Volume + ATR StrategyThis strategy will enter into long position when (a) current volume is above the average volume, and when (b) volatility of prices (based on ATR) is relatively low.
Backtested on hourly timeframes, win rates range between 35% to 50% on stocks with positive drifts (i.e. tendency to move upwards). Default setups are as follows:
- Average volume is computed using simple moving average (sma) of 14 periods. By default, 1.4x ratio seems to work well on most large cap stocks. If it's too high, then amount of potential points for entry will decrease. But if it's too low, then this indicator becomes meaningless.
- ATR (for determining volatility), look back period is 14 (following conventions). I have noticed that the profits could change drastically when changed to different values for each individually security. Feel free to experiment around with this parameter.
Other information: This strategy is based off of one of my previous scripts; a script called "Relatively Volume Strategy". The objective of this new script is to simplify the process of determining periods of low volatility. In this new script, we assume prices are consolidating when current ATR is within its moving average value by +/- one standard deviation.

Dynamic SMAThis script uses dynamic length to create a different sma type.
The length of the "Dynamic SMA" - "dSMA" can be:
'RSI', 'Stoch', 'ATR', 'MFI' or '%R'
For example 'RSI' -> the length of the sSMA will be the RSI itself
The biggest challenge was:
'Pine cannot determine the referencing length of a series. Try using max_bars_back' error
The writer of 'referencing length of a series' issue gave following solution:
bar_index == 0 ? 4999 : len
or in case of values which don't go above 100:
bar_index == 0 ? 100 : len
This assigns the necessary buffer to the function.

Advanced Average True RangeThis indicator allows you to improve your stop loss placement. It displays two lines based on the ATR ( Average True Range ), an upper line based on the current price + ATR and a lower line based on the current price - ATR. The ATR is multiplied by 2 but you can change this in the indicator settings.
Daily GAP StatsI did not write the script from scratch but rather started editing code of an existing one. The original code came from a script called GAP DETECTOR by @Asch-
First up: I am a trader, not a programmer and therefore my code most likely is inefficient. If someone with more expertise would like to help and optimize it - feel free to get in touch, I am always happy to learn some new tricks. :)
This script does 2 things:
- It shows daily gaps stats based on user inputs
- It shows color coded labels on gap days with additional information in tooltips ( important: make sure to read 'known issues/limitations' at the end )
User Inputs
==========
Although the input dialog is pretty straight forward, I do a quick rundown:
- Length: max lookback time
- Gap Direction: self explanatory
- Show All Gaps | Cont Only | Reversal Only | Off:
This refers to the way labels are displayed on gap days (again: make sure to read known issues/limitations!)
- Show All Gaps: does what it says
- Cont Only: only shows gaps where price continued in the gap direction. If you filter for gap ups and chose 'Cont only' you will only see labels on gap days where price closed above the open (and vice versa if you scan for gap downs).
- Reversal Only: you will only see labels for closes below the open on gap up days (and the opposite on gap down days)
- Off: self explanatory
- Gap Measure in ATR/PCT: self explanatory, ATR is calculated over a 10d period
- Gap Size (Abs Values): no negative values allowed here. If you filter for gap downs and enter 3 it means it will show gaps where the stock fell more than 3 ATR/PCT on the open.
- RVOL Factor: along with significant gaps should come significant volume. RVOL = volume of the gap day / 20d average volume
- Viewing Options: Placing the stats label in the window is a bit tricky (see knonw issues/limitations) and I was not sure which way I liked better. See for yourself what works best for you.
Known Isusses/Limitations:

- Positioning of the stats table:
As to my knowledge, Tradingview only allows label positioning relative to price and not relative to the chart window. I tried to always display the gap stats table in the upper right corner, using 52wk high as y-coordinate. This works ok most of the time, but is not pretty. If anybody has some fancy way to tag the label in a fixed position, please get in touch.
- Max number of labels per script:
TradingView has a limitation that allows a maxium of ~50 labels per script. If there are more labels, TradingView will automatically cut the oldest ones, without any notification. I have found this behaviour to be rather inconsistent - sometimes it'll dump labels even if there are a lot fewer than 50. Hopefully TradingView will drop this limitation at one point in the future.
Important: The inconsistent display of the gap day labels has NO INFLUENCE on the calculations in the gap stats table - the count and the calculations are complete and correct!
