[blackcat] L1 OBV-MFI ComboLevel 1
Background
As requested, this is a combo of OBV and MFI indicators
Function
On-balance volume (OBV) is a technical trading momentum indicator that uses volume flow to predict changes in stock price. Joseph Granville first developed the OBV metric in the 1963 book Granville's New Key to Stock Market Profits.
The Money Flow Index (MFI) is a technical oscillator that uses price and volume data for identifying overbought or oversold signals in an asset. It can also be used to spot divergences which warn of a trend change in price. The oscillator moves between 0 and 100.
The combo of them is still an oscillator.

BankNifty - OBVThis script tries to draw OBV for BankNifty using Futures Volume along with Average OBV. For Nifty50 just change the Futures Volume symbol in settings. Look at devations in Price vs OBV or Average OBV breakout.

Weighted OBV by BB Original from www.tradingview.com I just added BB
Cumulative Force Indicator. Can also be seen as an OBV indicator that takes the price differences into account. In a regular OBV, a high volume bar can make a huge difference, even if the price went up only 0.01, and it it goes down 0.01 instead, that volume makes the OBV go down big time, even though in both cases hardly anything really happened. cForce is a more realistic view on where the money is flowing.
Hancock - Filtered Volume OBV OSC [Strategy]Trading strategy based on Donchain channel price breakouts confirmed by an optionally configurable volume filtered OBV oscillator.
Colored diamonds on charts represent signals where top side is buy side and bot side is sell side - green indicates open and red indicates close.
Pretty simple but nicely demonstrates the volume filtered OBV oscillator found here .
Happy trading
Hancock
SB_CCI coded OBV StrategyStrategy-
Buy Order: Previous obv value is green and obv_cci coded line crosses over ema line
Sell Order: Previous obv value is red and obv_cci coded line crosses under ema line.
Original Idea:
Preferable for day/week intervals.

This is my first published script, so feel free to let me know if you see room for improvements.
Adjusted OBVThis script shows On-Balance Volume adjusted for volume weighted candle body size.
This means that the wick lengths, body length, and sell/buy pressure are calculated into percentages of volume that contributed to each.
The body volume is the accumulatively tracked across candles to give a more accurate On-Balance Volume that has been traded to achieve the current price over time.
The script output is in Orange and for comparison the original technical OBV is in Blue.
As this is my first script, I hope to update it to include a 'buy' and 'sell' pressure gauge to perhaps turn this from a mere indicator into potentially a bit more predictive.
In the meantime, it should be useful for tracking OBV for other uses in a more accurate and less volatile way.
Custom OBV OscillatorThis is a modified OBV indicator that creates an oscillator by smoothing the difference between the value of the OBV and a short moving average of the OBV. SMAs of the oscillator are also provided to study crosses and convergence/divergence.
The indicator should mostly be used on common stock, but works on futures contracts with some tuning and a shorter timeframe.
Trigonometric compare close vs obvTrigonometric compare
This is copy and mod of a script from alexgrower which did this great trigonometric math.
As there was this idea floating around from some unicorn doing it instead of close also with the ta.obv, why not compare them.
from a first idea:
green=bullish trend
red=baserish trend
blue=deciding and acceleration zone
or maybe SL hunting of whales
Plot1: trigonometrics for obv
Plot2: trigonometrics for close
Plot3: trigonometrics for obv-close
what to trade or how to trade no idea, just hat do post the basic idea of this compare.
have fun
Intrabar OBV/PVTI got this idea from @fikira's script Intrabar-Price-Volume-Change-experimental
The indicator calculates OBV and PVT based on ticks. Since, the indicator relies on live ticks, it only starts execution after it is put on the charts. The script can be useful in analysing intraday buy and sell pressure. Details are color coded based on the values.
Data is presented in simple tabular format.
Formula for OBV and PVT can be found here:

BBPBΔ(OBV-PVT)BB - Time Series Decomposition & Volume WeightedThis is an indicator that shows 5 different points of information:
#1 The Trendline is uses a time-series decomposition to remove noise and seasonality data to provide a trendline without using moving averages. This is then further processed by a custom VWAP block that weights it based on the time frame you're currently using.
#2 BB%B - This is the blue histogram that's partially transparent. This is used to find when a security is overbought or oversold.
#3 BB%B of the Δ(OBV-PVT). This is the green histogram. We took the OBV and subtracted the PVT from it, then we found the delta of that compared to the previous candle. This output a line, which we wrapped in bollinger bands to find the BB%B of this line. This line is represented as a histogram, for visual clarity.
#4 Long and Short Indicators: Long is represented by a green dot, and short is represented by a red dot.
#5 Zones - there are multiple zones, which are used to identify overbought and oversold zones.
How to use the indicator:
Simple way: Long on green dot, Short on red dot. Use stop losses and take profits.
Slightly More Complex: Same as above, but also close out longs, when the green histogram drops but the blue does not. As this means price action hasn't caught up with volume. Use stop losses and take profits.
Full Usage: Long only when both the green, blue and yellow lines are below 0, and sell when the blue or green histogram rises above 1. Perform the opposite for the shorting. Ignore the dots if you use this method, they are for simple reference points til you get used to this indicator. Use stop losses and take profits.
PSAR + EMA/TEMA/RSI/OBVThe Parabolic Stop-and-Reservse (PSAR) is a trend indicator, intended to capture reversal signals and show entry and exit points. The PSAR is bullish when the PSAR is below the candle body (usually indicated by a dot) and bearish when the PSAR is above the candle body. The PSAR generally only moves in the direction of the trend, making it useful for markets with an upward or downward trend, as well as swing markets. It is weaker when the market it sideways, as it can be prone to frequent flips (bull-to-bear or vice versa) in markets where a predominant trend is not present.
In order to combat the tendency for rapid swings in the PSAR, it is commonly paired with a second indicator. Often, this is a moving average (MA) to confirm the PSAR signal. Here is a common example:
PSAR + 2 EMAs: A trade would consider entering long when the PSAR is bullish and the fast EMA is above the short EMA.
PSAR + 3 EMAs: As above, but the trader could also add a very long EMA (200, for example) and use that as an additional filter.
In addition to using EMA, other MAs can be used and may be more appropriate to certain instruments and timeframes. Using TEMA, for example, may result in less lag but introduce more noise. Likewise, the Ehler's MAMA is an option.
Some traders use other indicators as PSAR confirmation signals, such as the relative strength index (RSI) on on-balance volume (OBV). The strategy is similar:
bullish PSAR + RSI oversold = consider long entry
bullish PSAR + OBV oscillator > 0 = consider long entry
The strategy presented here is based on my PSAR + EMA + TEMA study. Any of the above strategies are supported by this script:
1. The PSAR is the primary signal.
2. Confirmation is provided by any of the following: EMA , TEMA , Ehler's MAMA , RSI , or OBV.
3. You may use a third EMA (set to 200 as the default) to filter entries -- if used, the strategy will only show signals if the price is above the third (additional) EMA .
For example, a normal long signal would be a bullish PSAR + fast EMA > slow EMA + price > ema 200.
In addition, you may use a SL, which is set to the PSAR dots shown. You may also limit the backtesting dates. (Please note in the chart above, I do not have a limit on the trading dates. I believe this exaggerates the success of the strategy, but the house rules demand I not limit the timeframe to show you a more accurate picture.)
BB+RSI+OBVI use Bolinger Band and RSI and OBV
when Bolinger band midline cross and rsi is bigger than 50 and obv is going up i wrote this strategy to test this strategy
Pivot OBV Reset [LM]Hi traders,
I woud like to introduce new script of obv indicator that resets on creation of new pivot high or low. Note that it resets when it's known that it is a pivot. On the reset candle adds accumulated value from previous candles defined by i_right input.
It has following settings:
pivot setting - here you can infulence pivot detection
obv setting - here you can influence whether it should be multiplied by price or not, if it should show when the reset happen
Hope you'll enjoy it
Trend Lines for RSI, CCI, Momentum, OBVHello Traders!
After publishing Trend Lines for RSI yesterday, I realized that Trend Lines for more indicators needed by the traders. so I decided to make it for four different indicators: RSI, CCI, OBV, Momentum
In the indicator options you can choose the indicator from pull-down menu.
How it works?
- On each bar it finds last 10 higher and lower Pivot Points (PP) for the indicator.
- from first bar to 10. Pivot Point it searchs if a trend line is possible
- for each PP it starts searching from the last PP .
- it checks if drawing a trend line possible or not and also it's broken or not
- if it's broken then optionally it shows broken trend lines as dotted (or you can option not to see broken lines)
- if it finds a continues trend line then it stops searhing more and draw trend line, this is done by checking angles (I did this to make the script faster, otherwise you may get error because of it needs time more than .2sec)
- the script makes this process for each PP
- then shows the trend lines
P.S. it may need 3-10 seconds when you added the script to the chart at first (because of calculations)

RIZ OBV with coloured CCIThis ones useful for spotting divergence on OBV, and also includes CCI to show overbought and oversold areas in the volume. I've coloured the OBV bar with the CCI levels. Look for divergence (best results on 5min chart I believe) with this and you can spot where to sell if a second peak is not supported by volume, also shows where the big guns are dumping lots of volume!
A volume study is always a good addition to any analysis I feel, and this is one of my day to day always on indicators.
Variance of OBVIDEA is to easily spot the length of a calm periods based on OBV.
Some says that after a longer OBV-calm (but not supercalm) period up or down rallies are somewhat more likely)
METHOD: variance of OBV
ADVISE: cannot be used on its own, just with others (RSI, CCI, Coppock, MACD etc.)
Period shall be adjusted to the market.
PERSONAL: I also use it to evaluate how long an uptrend/downtrend is "normal" and when it is a "changer".
Also to see if a market is too flat. (No changes in flat periods is also not a good sign for me)
Also to evaluate magnitude of bursts.
Have fun, use stops, avoid FOMO and comments welcome!
CCI Extreme and OBV DivergenceThis is my second set of two indicators combined utilize Multi time frame analysis of 5 minutes and 15 minutes.
CCI:
Green = uptrending
Red = downtrending
Bright Green = overbought, look to go SHORT
Bright Red = oversold, look to go LONG
OBV:
this use to predict the market direction buy drawing trend line.
It is also very good indicator to sport Smart Money moment. When price move higher but OBV trend lower, smart money is taking profit and reversing their position, look to go Short to you spot this type of divergence.
Also else already not there is no holy grail indicator so I also use this set of indicator to improve the signal
Indicator: OBV OscillatorEveryone uses OBV, right? This indicator makes it easy to read it by building an oscillator out of it.
Also, now look for OBV divergences easily :)
Appreciate any comments / thoughts.
MACD, RSI, OBV - R.A TraderRudá Alves Trader - Custom Indicator
This indicator was developed for the students of Rudá Alves trader. It combines the OBV, RSI, and MACD oscillators into a single tool.
On Balance Volume CrossoversCheck on balance volume but with crossover. You can choose the smoothing method, which is set by default to use the Volume Weighted Moving Average (bringing volume to the equation is always a good idea) but you can change to SMA, MA, EMA, ...
Hope you guys enjoy it and don't forget to rate it up! :)
I plan to include % from 0-100 OBV in here later! Stay tuned.
Feedback is cool.
