Multi-TF AI SuperTrend with ADX - Strategy [PresentTrading]
## █ Introduction and How it is Different
The trading strategy in question is an enhanced version of the SuperTrend indicator, combined with AI elements and an ADX filter. It's a multi-timeframe strategy that incorporates two SuperTrends from different timeframes and utilizes a k-nearest neighbors (KNN) algorithm for trend prediction. It's different from traditional SuperTrend indicators because of its AI-based predictive capabilities and the addition of the ADX filter for trend strength.
BTC 8hr Performance
ETH 8hr Performance
## █ Strategy, How it Works: Detailed Explanation (Revised)
### Multi-Timeframe Approach
The strategy leverages the power of multiple timeframes by incorporating two SuperTrend indicators, each calculated on a different timeframe. This multi-timeframe approach provides a holistic view of the market's trend. For example, a 8-hour timeframe might capture the medium-term trend, while a daily timeframe could capture the longer-term trend. When both SuperTrends align, the strategy confirms a more robust trend.
### K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN)
The KNN algorithm is used to classify the direction of the trend based on historical SuperTrend values. It uses weighted voting of the 'k' nearest data points. For each point, it looks at its 'k' closest neighbors and takes a weighted average of their labels to predict the current label. The KNN algorithm is applied separately to each timeframe's SuperTrend data.
### SuperTrend Indicators
Two SuperTrend indicators are used, each from a different timeframe. They are calculated using different moving averages and ATR lengths as per user settings. The SuperTrend values are then smoothed to make them suitable for KNN-based prediction.
### ADX and DMI Filters
The ADX filter is used to eliminate weak trends. Only when the ADX is above 20 and the directional movement index (DMI) confirms the trend direction, does the strategy signal a buy or sell.
### Combining Elements
A trade signal is generated only when both SuperTrends and the ADX filter confirm the trend direction. This multi-timeframe, multi-indicator approach reduces false positives and increases the robustness of the strategy.
By considering multiple timeframes and using machine learning for trend classification, the strategy aims to provide more accurate and reliable trade signals.

Alpine Predictive BandsAlpine Predictive Bands - ADX & Trend Projection is an advanced indicator crafted to estimate potential price zones and trend strength by integrating dynamic support/resistance bands, ADX-based confidence scoring, and linear regression-based price projections. Designed for adaptive trend analysis, this tool combines multi-timeframe ADX insights, volume metrics, and trend alignment for improved confidence in trend direction and reliability.
Key Calculations and Components:
Linear Regression for Price Projection:
Purpose: Provides a trend-based projection line to illustrate potential price direction.
Calculation: The Linear Regression Centerline (LRC) is calculated over a user-defined lookbackPeriod. The slope, representing the rate of price movement, is extended forward using predictionLength. This projected path only appears when the confidence score is 70% or higher, revealing a white dotted line to highlight high-confidence trends.
Adaptive Prediction Bands:
Purpose: ATR-based bands offer dynamic support/resistance zones by adjusting to volatility.
Calculation: Bands are calculated using the Average True Range (ATR) over the lookbackPeriod, multiplied by a volatilityMultiplier to adjust the width. These shaded bands expand during higher volatility, guiding traders in identifying flexible support/resistance zones.
Confidence Score (ADX, Volume, and Trend Alignment):
Purpose: Reflects the reliability of trend projections by combining ADX, volume status, and EMA alignment across multiple timeframes.
ADX Component: ADX values from the current timeframe and two higher timeframes assess trend strength on a broader scale. Strong ADX readings across timeframes boost the confidence score.
Volume Component: Volume strength is marked as “High” or “Low” based on a moving average, signaling trend participation.
Trend Alignment: EMA alignment across timeframes indicates “Bullish” or “Bearish” trends, confirming overall trend direction.
Calculation: ADX, volume, and trend alignment integrate to produce a confidence score from 0% to 100%. When the score exceeds 70%, the white projection line is activated, underscoring high-confidence trend continuations.
User Guide
Projection Line: The white dotted line, which appears only when the confidence score is 70% or higher, highlights a high-confidence trend.
Prediction Bands: Adaptive bands provide potential support/resistance zones, expanding with market volatility to help traders visualize price ranges.
Confidence Score: A high score indicates a stronger, more reliable trend and can support trend-following strategies.
Settings
Prediction Length: Determines the forward length of the projection.
Lookback Period: Sets the data range for calculating regression and ATR.
Volatility Multiplier: Adjusts the width of bands to match volatility levels.
Disclaimer: This indicator is for educational purposes and does not guarantee future price outcomes. Additional analysis is recommended, as trading carries inherent risks.
RSI 15/60 and ADX PlotIn this script, the buy and sell criteria are based on the Relative Strength Index (RSI) values calculated for two different timeframes: the 15-minute RSI and the hourly RSI. These timeframes are used together to check signals when certain thresholds are crossed, providing confirmation across both short-term and longer-term momentum.
Buy Criteria:
Condition 1:
Hourly RSI > 60: This means the longer-term momentum shows strength.
15-minute RSI crosses above 60: This shows that the shorter-term momentum is catching up and confirms increasing strength.
Condition 2:
15-minute RSI > 60: This indicates that the short-term trend is already strong.
Hourly RSI crosses above 60: This confirms that the longer-term trend is also gaining strength.
Both conditions aim to capture the moments when the market shows increasing strength across both short and long timeframes, signaling a potential buy opportunity.
Sell Criteria:
Condition 1:
Hourly RSI < 40: This indicates that the longer-term trend is weakening.
15-minute RSI crosses below 40: The short-term momentum is also turning down, confirming the weakening trend.
Condition 2:
15-minute RSI < 40: The short-term trend is already weak.
Hourly RSI crosses below 40: The longer-term trend is now confirming the weakness, indicating a potential sell.
These conditions work to identify when the market is showing weakness in both short-term and long-term timeframes, signaling a potential sell opportunity.
ADX Confirmation :
The Average Directional Index (ADX) is a key tool for measuring the strength of a trend. It can be used alongside the RSI to confirm whether a buy or sell signal is occurring in a strong trend or during market consolidation. Here's how ADX can be integrated:
ADX > 25: This indicates a strong trend. Using this threshold, you can confirm buy or sell signals when there is a strong upward or downward movement in the market.
Buy Example: If a buy signal (RSI > 60) is triggered and the ADX is above 25, this confirms that the market is in a strong uptrend, making the buy signal more reliable.
Sell Example: If a sell signal (RSI < 40) is triggered and the ADX is above 25, it confirms a strong downtrend, validating the sell signal.
ADX < 25: This suggests a weak or non-existent trend. In this case, RSI signals might be less reliable since the market could be moving sideways.
Final Approach:
The RSI criteria help identify potential overbought and oversold conditions in both short and long timeframes.
The ADX confirmation ensures that the signals generated are happening during strong trends, increasing the likelihood of successful trades by filtering out weak or choppy market conditions.
This combination of RSI and ADX can help traders make more informed decisions by ensuring both momentum and trend strength align before entering or exiting trades.
Directional Movement Index with double exponential moving averagThe Directional system is a trend-following method developed by J. Welles Wilder,
in the mid-1970s. It identifies trends and shows
when a trend is moving fast enough to make it worth following. It helps traders to
profit by taking chunks out of the middle of important trends.
Trading Rules
1. Trade only from the long side when the positive Directional line is above the
negative one. Trade only from the short side when the negative Directional line
is above the positive one. The best time to trade is when the ADX is rising, show-
ing that the dominant group is getting stronger.
2. When ADX declines, it shows that the market is becoming less directional. There
are likely to be many whipsaws. When ADX points down, it is better not to use
a trend-following method.
3. When ADX falls below both Directional lines, it identifies a flat, sleepy mar-
ket. Do not use a trend-following system but get ready to trade, because major
trends emerge from such lulls.
4. The single best signal of the Directional system comes after ADX falls below
both Directional lines. The longer it stays there, the stronger the base for the
next move. When ADX rallies from below both Directional lines, it shows that
the market is waking up from a lull. When ADX rises by four steps
from its lowest point below both Directional lines, it “rings a bell” on a
new trend . It shows that a new bull market or bear market is being
born, depending on what Directional line is on top.
5. When ADX rallies above both Directional lines, it identifies an overheated mar-
ket. When ADX turns down from above both Directional lines, it shows that the
major trend has stumbled. It is a good time to take profits on a directional trade.
If you trade large positions, you definitely want to take partial profits.
This particular version uses DEMA (double exponential moving averages) in attempt to catch moves sooner.
Average Directional Movement Index Rating ADXR by KIVANÇ fr3762Average Directional Movement Rating quantifies momentum change in the ADX . It is calculated by adding two values of ADX (the current value and a value n periods back), then dividing by two. This additional smoothing makes the ADXR slightly less responsive than ADX . The interpretation is the same as the ADX ; the higher the value, the stronger the trend.
The ADXR , being a smoothed version of ADX , and can be used similarly to the ADX in the three rule system discussed on the ADX section..
The ADXR is a measure of the spread between the Directional Indicators ( +DI and -DI ). When the ADXR is declining, it's not advised to use a trend following system. However, a rising ADXR signals that the dominant trend is likely to continue. A rising ADXR , with both the ADXR and DI+ above the D- indicates a strengthening bullish market. The scan syntax needed to represent this condition would be...
ADXR > DIMINUS AND DIPLUS > DIMINUS AND ADXR > ADXR .1
A rising ADXR , with both the ADXR and DI- above DI+ indicates a strengthening bearish trend . The scan syntax needed to represent this condition would be...
ADXR > DIPLUS AND DIMINUS > DIPLUS AND ADXR > ADXR .1
If the ADXR has been below both DI+ and DI- but has begun to rise a new market trend is emerging. The scan syntax needed to represent this condition would be...
ADXR < DIPLUS AND ADXR < DIMINUS AND ADXR > ADXR .1
IMPORTANT NOTICE: USERS CAN ADD ADX DI+ and DI- indicators by checking the box in the settings of the indicator.

Forex Master v4.0 (EUR/USD Mean-Reversion Algorithm)DESCRIPTION
Forex Master v4.0 is a mean-reversion algorithm currently optimized for trading the EUR/USD pair on the 5M chart interval. All indicator inputs use the period's closing price and all trades are executed at the open of the period following the period where the trade signal was generated.
There are 3 main components that make up Forex Master v4.0:
I. Trend Filter
The algorithm uses a version of the ADX indicator as a trend filter to trade only in certain time periods where price is more likely to be range-bound (i.e., mean-reverting). This indicator is composed of a Fast ADX and a Slow ADX, both using the same look-back period of 50. However, the Fast ADX is smoothed with a 6-period EMA and the Slow ADX is smoothed with a 12-period EMA. When the Fast ADX is above the Slow ADX, the algorithm does not trade because this indicates that price is likelier to trend, which is bad for a mean-reversion system. Conversely, when the Fast ADX is below the Slow ADX, price is likelier to be ranging so this is the only time when the algorithm is allowed to trade.
II. Bollinger Bands
When allowed to trade by the Trend Filter, the algorithm uses the Bollinger Bands indicator to enter long and short positions. The Bolliger Bands indicator has a look-back period of 20 and a standard deviation of 1.5 for both upper and lower bands. When price crosses over the lower band, a Long Signal is generated and a long position is entered. When price crosses under the upper band, a Short Signal is generated and a short position is entered.
III. Money Management
Rule 1 - Each trade will use a limit order for a fixed quantity of 50,000 contracts (0.50 lot). The only exception is Rule
Rule 2 - Order pyramiding is enabled and up to 10 consecutive orders of the same signal can be executed (for example: 14 consecutive Long Signals are generated over 8 hours and the algorithm sends in 10 different buy orders at various prices for a total of 350,000 contracts).
Rule 3 - Every order will include a bracket with both TP and SL set at 50 pips (note: the algorithm only closes the current open position and does not enter the opposite trade once a TP or SL has been hit).
Rule 4 - When a new opposite trade signal is generated, the algorithm sends in a larger order to close the current open position as well as open a new one (for example: 14 consecutive Long Signals are generated over 8 hours and the algorithm sends in 10 different buy orders at various prices for a total of 350,000 contracts. A Short Signal is generated shortly after the 14th Long Signal. The algorithm then sends in a sell order for 400,000 contracts to close the 350,000 contracts long position and open a new short position of 50,000 contracts).
JK EMA-WMA ADX Strategy with RSI Reversals and Chandelier ExitThis Pine script is a comprehensive trading strategy indicator for TradingView that combines three different technical analysis techniques: the Modified EMA-WMA ADX Trading Strategy, RSI Reversals, and the Chandelier Exit strategy. Here's a breakdown of what the script does:
Inputs: The script starts by defining several user inputs that allow traders to customize various parameters such as the lengths for EMA, WMA, ADX, RSI, and Chandelier Exit calculations, as well as thresholds for ADX, bullish/bearish RSI levels, and visual options like showing labels and highlighting the current trading state.
EMA-WMA ADX Strategy: The script calculates the Exponential Moving Average (EMA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), and Average Directional Index (ADX) using the user-defined input lengths. It then determines buy and sell signals based on the crossover/crossunder of the EMA and WMA, combined with conditions on the ADX value and its rising/falling state.
RSI Reversals: The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is calculated, and its slope is determined over a specified number of periods. Bullish and bearish reversals are identified based on the RSI crossing the user-defined bullish and bearish levels, combined with the slope condition.
Chandelier Exit: The script implements the Chandelier Exit strategy, which involves calculating an Average True Range (ATR) channel based on the highest high and lowest low over a specified period, multiplied by a user-defined multiplier. The channel lines are plotted, and buy/sell signals are generated when the price crosses these lines, indicating a potential trend change.
Plotting: The script plots the EMA, WMA, buy/sell signals for the EMA-WMA ADX strategy, bullish/bearish reversal signals for RSI, and the Chandelier Exit channel lines. It also includes options to show buy/sell labels and highlight the current trading state with colored areas.
Alerts: The script can generate alerts for various conditions, including Chandelier Exit direction changes, buy/sell signals for the Chandelier Exit, and combined buy/sell signals from the EMA-WMA ADX strategy.
Overall, this script aims to provide a comprehensive trading strategy by combining multiple technical analysis techniques and allowing traders to customize various parameters. It can be used as a standalone strategy or as a starting point for further customization and experimentation.
Average Directional Index + ΔDI± (Delta)Average Directional Index (ADX) and Difference between DI+ and DI- (ΔDI±), I call it Delta for short.
The idea explained:
ADX is a common indicator for analysing trend strength. Values over 25 usually indicate the symbol is in "trend mode", meaning there is a lot of momentum, upwards or downwards, - while values under 25 suggest it is in "range mode", the price moves sideways, lacking energy. Note that this indicator is not volume-based.
I moved the graph (red) down 25 points; this version shows positive values in "trend mode" (>25), and negative values in "range mode" (<25). The line sits at 0. The underlying code for the ADX is basically identical to the official TradingView built-in version.
Now the exciting part: DI+ and DI- are used to calculate the ADX. They are sometimes included in the ADX indicator chart, I included a version that shows them in the graphic, at the bottom. Traditionally, DI+ (green) crossing DI- (dark red) from below shows the beginning of an upward trend, and therefore a good LONG entry position. However, I noticed that this is usually not the case: this method responds very slowly to the actual price movement. At the point the indicator tells you to enter, the trend is usually already exhausted.
I found a better way to use this data; instead of waiting for both graphs to cross, meaning the difference in their respective values is 0, we look for the greatest possible difference. That is what the purple graph of my indicator shows (ΔDI±). It utilizes the zero-line we already created for the ADX. High positive values declare that the DI+ is much greater than the DI-, and vice versa. Delta is the greek letter used in mathematics for difference, so that is what I call this indicator.
How to use it:
When you look at the graph, low Delta values seem to be good entry points for LONG positions, high Delta values good exits. This is similar to how RSI and CCI work, which is why included them in the chart above (). However, this is only reliable, when the ADX is above 25, or 0 in this version, indicating the symbol is in "trend mode". This is important .
When you look at the examples in the chart, you can confirm that. The marked candles show good entry and exit points, with Delta being notably low/high (±25 seems to be a good threshold, the dashed lines sit at +30/-30), and the ADX above 0 (25). Now, you might have noticed that around mid-december the Delta actually registers the highest value for this symbol in the given time frame, indicating a strong SHORT after a steep climb. But, importantly , the ADX is not in "trend mode" as required for a clear signal, it is in "range mode": the price discovers this new level and takes a few days to get used to it. It does not fall. This shows why only the combination of both Delta and ADX gives desirable results.
I noticed that this seems to work best for 1D and 1H candles; if you find any other time frames or scenarios, let me know!

Catalyst TrendCatalyst Trend – A Comprehensive Trend and Regime Analyzer
The Catalyst Trend indicator was designed to dynamically and intuitively merge various classic analytical techniques. The goal is to filter out short-term market noise and reveal reliable trend phases or potential turning points. Below is a detailed explanation of its core elements and practical usage.
1. Concept and Idea
Multidimensional Trend Detection
This indicator goes beyond a simple momentum or volatility focus. It factors in multiple measurements to provide a more well-rounded market perspective.
Versatile Indicator Fusion
Linear Regression (LinReg): Multiple LinReg calculations are combined to smooth out price fluctuations and produce a robust trendline—known here as the “Cycle Reduced Line.”
ADX (Average Directional Index): Measures trend strength.
RSI (Relative Strength Index): Flags potential overbought or oversold conditions, in both the current timeframe and a higher timeframe.
ATR (Average True Range): Assesses volatility; used to dynamically adjust calculation lengths.
By weaving these elements together, the indicator adds value beyond simply stacking multiple indicators. It adapts to real-time market conditions, aiming to highlight genuine trends and reduce false signals.
2. Key Functions and Calculations
Dynamic Length & Smoothing
A blend of volatility (ATR), ADX values, and RSI inputs determines how many candles are used in the LinReg calculations and how heavily the data is smoothed.
This allows the indicator to respond promptly during periods of high volatility, while automatically adjusting to filter out unnecessary noise in quieter phases.c
Cycle Reduced Line
The script averages several offset LinReg calculations to produce a cleaner overall signal. Random outliers are thus minimized, making the trend path more visually consistent.
An additional EMA smoothing (“Final Smoothing”) further stabilizes this trendline, reducing the impact of minor price fluctuations.
Channel Bands (Optional)
These bands are derived from the standard deviation of the price residual (the difference between the smoothed price and the trendline).
They highlight potential over-extension zones: the upper band can mark short-term overbought areas, while the lower band might indicate oversold conditions.
Trend and Sideways Determination
Slope Calculation: The slope of the trendline (comparing the current bar to the previous one) helps identify short-term directional shifts.
DX Threshold: Once the ADX surpasses a user-defined threshold and the slope is positive, it may indicate a developing uptrend. Similarly, if the slope is negative and ADX > threshold, it could signal a potential downtrend.
Multi-Level Color Coding
Original Mode: Interpolated colors reflect uptrends, downtrends, and sideways phases, factoring in metrics like ADX and RSI.
Single Color: For a neutral look, the indicator can be displayed in one uniform color.
HTF RSI: This mode uses the higher-timeframe RSI to color the trendline (Long/Short/Neutral), offering a quick gauge of overarching market pressure.
3. Use Cases and Interpretation
Timeframes & Markets
The indicator is versatile and adapts well to different intervals, from 5-minute charts to weekly views.
It can be applied to various markets—crypto, forex, stocks—since volatility and trend strength are universal concepts.
Signal Recognition
Color Swings into a more pronounced upward hue (e.g., green) may signal mounting strength.
Neutral or mixed tones often point to sideways phases, which breakout traders might watch for potential price surges.
A shift to downward colors (e.g., red) may indicate a growing bearish trend.
Channel Bands & Volatility
When the bands spread widely, it’s wise to proceed with caution: abrupt spikes above the upper band or below the lower band can flag rapid short-term extremes.
These bands are more of a reference for potential overextension than a strict buy or sell trigger.
Additional Confirmations
Not a standalone panacea: The Catalyst Trend indicator is an analytical tool, best used alongside other methods such as volume analysis or price action (candlestick patterns, support/resistance levels) to bolster confidence in trading decisions.
4. Practical Tips
Parameter Adjustments
Depending on the market—crypto vs. traditional currency pairs—different ADX, RSI, or smoothing periods may be more effective. Experiment with the settings to tailor the indicator to your preferred timeframe.
Strategic Integration
Trailing Stops: For those riding a trend, the trendline or the channel bands may serve as a reference to trail stop-loss orders.
Trend Confirmation: Using RSI and ADX filters can help traders avoid sideways markets or stay the course when the trend is strong.
5. Important Final Notes
No Guarantee of Profits
No indicator can predict the future. Markets are inherently volatile and often unpredictable.
Responsible Risk Management
Test the indicator in a demo environment or with smaller positions before committing to large trades.
MTF ADX TableThis Indicator displays a table on the chart with the Average Directional Index (ADX) values for two different timeframes. It calculates the ADX using a custom formula and shows the ADX values along with their corresponding timeframes. The table's position, font size, and background color can be customized, and the timeframes are labeled with "ADX" appended to their unit (e.g., "5m ADX", "1D ADX"). The table updates dynamically with the latest ADX values for each timeframe. The indicator also provides a rating, based of the thresholds settings
Mars Signals - SSL Trend AnalyzerIntroduction
The "Mars Signals - Precision Trend Analyzer with SSL Baseline & Price Action Zones" is a comprehensive technical analysis tool designed for traders seeking to enhance their market analysis and trading strategies. This indicator integrates multiple advanced trading concepts, including dynamic moving averages, trend detection algorithms, momentum indicators, volume analysis, higher timeframe confirmation, candlestick pattern recognition, and precise price action zones. By combining these elements, the indicator aims to provide clear and actionable buy and sell signals, helping traders to make informed decisions in various market conditions.
Core Components and Functionality
1.Dynamic Baseline Calculation
Moving Average Types: The indicator allows users to select from a variety of moving average types for the baseline calculation, including Simple Moving Average (SMA), Exponential Moving Average (EMA), Hull Moving Average (HMA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), Double EMA (DEMA), Triple EMA (TEMA), Least Squares Moving Average (LSMA), Triangular Moving Average (TMA), Kijun (from Ichimoku Kinko Hyo), and McGinley's Dynamic.
Baseline Length: Users can customize the length of the moving average, providing flexibility to adjust the sensitivity of the baseline to market movements.
Signal Line Generation: The indicator computes a dynamic signal line based on the relationship between the close price and the moving averages of the high and low prices. This signal line adapts to market volatility and trend changes.
2.SSL Baseline Integration
SSL Baseline: In addition to the primary baseline, the indicator incorporates an SSL (Semaphore Signal Level) Baseline, which further refines trend detection by considering the highs and lows over a specified period.
Dual Confirmation: The combination of the primary baseline and the SSL baseline enhances the reliability of the trend signals by requiring agreement between both baselines before generating a signal.
3.Momentum and Trend Filters
Relative Strength Index (RSI): The indicator uses the RSI to assess the momentum of price movements, filtering out signals that occur during overbought or oversold conditions.
Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD): The MACD is employed to identify the direction and strength of the trend, adding another layer of confirmation to the signals.
Average Directional Index (ADX): The ADX measures the strength of the trend, ensuring that signals are generated only when the market shows significant directional movement.
4.Volume Analysis
Volume Filter: An optional volume filter compares the current volume to its moving average, allowing traders to focus on signals that occur during periods of higher market activity.
5.Higher Timeframe Confirmation
Multi-Timeframe Analysis: The indicator can incorporate data from a higher timeframe, comparing the current price to the higher timeframe's baseline and signal line. This feature helps traders align their trades with the broader market trend.
6.Candlestick Pattern Recognition
Bullish Patterns: The indicator detects bullish patterns such as Bullish Engulfing, Piercing Line, Hammer, and Doji.
Bearish Patterns: It also identifies bearish patterns like Bearish Engulfing, Dark Cloud Cover, Shooting Star, and Doji.
Pattern Prioritization: The patterns are prioritized to highlight the most significant formations, which can serve as additional confirmation for trade entries and exits.
7.Price Action Zones
Support and Resistance Levels: The indicator automatically identifies pivot highs and lows to establish dynamic support and resistance levels.
Zone Visualization: It draws shaded rectangles on the chart to represent these zones, providing a clear visual aid for potential reversal or breakout areas.
ATR-Based Zone Width: The zones' thickness is dynamically calculated using the Average True Range (ATR), adjusting to the current market volatility.
Background Coloring: The chart background changes color when the price is above the maximum resistance or below the minimum support, alerting traders to significant price movements.
Interpreting the Signals
1.Buy Signals

Monthly Performance Table by Dr. MauryaWhat is this ?
This Strategy script is not aim to produce strategy results but It aim to produce monthly PnL performance Calendar table which is useful for TradingView community to generate a monthly performance table for Own strategy.
So make sure to read the disclaimer below.
Why it is required to publish?:
I am not satisfied with the monthly performance available on TV community script. Sometimes it is very lengthy in code and sometimes it showing the wrong PNL for current month.
So I have decided to develop new Monthly performance or return in value as well as in percentage with highly flexible to adjust row automatically.
Features :
Accuracy increased for current month PnL.
There are 14 columns and automatically adjusted rows according to available trade years/month.
First Column reflect the YEAR, from second column to 13 column reflect the month and 14 column reflect the yearly PnL.
In tabulated data reflects the monthly PnL (value and (%)) in month column and Yearly PnL (value and (%)) in Yearly column.
Various color input also added to change the table look like background color, text color, heading text color, border color.
In tabulated data, background color turn green for profit and red for loss.
Copy from line 54 to last line as it is in your strategy script.
Credit: This code is modified and top up of the open-source code originally written by QuantNomad. Thanks for their contribution towards to give base and lead to other developers. I have changed the way of determining past PnL to array form and keep separated current month and year PnL from array. Which avoid the false pnl in current month.
Strategy description:
As in first line I said This strategy is aim to provide monthly performance table not focused on the strategy. But it is necessary to explain strategy which I have used here. Strategy is simply based on ADX available on TV community script. Long entry is based on when the difference between DIPlus and ADX is reached on certain value (Set value in Long difference in Input Tab) while Short entry is based on when the difference between DIMinus and ADX is reached on certain value (Set value in Short difference in Input Tab).
Default Strategy Properties used on chart(Important)
This script backtest is done on 1 hour timeframe of NSE:Reliance Inds Future cahrt, using the following backtesting properties:
Balance (default): 500 000 (default base currency)
Order Size: 1 contract
Comission: 20 INR per Order
Slippage: 5 tick
Default setting in Input tab
Len (ADX length) : 14
Th (ADX Threshhold): 20
Long Difference (DIPlus - ADX) = 5
Short Difference (DIMinus - ADX) = 5
We use these properties to ensure a realistic preview of the backtesting system, do note that default properties can be different for various reasons described below:
Order Size: 1 contract by default, this is to allow the strategy to run properly on most instruments such as futures.
Comission: Comission can vary depending on the market and instrument, there is no default value that might return realistic results.
We strongly recommend all users to ensure they adjust the Properties within the script settings to be in line with their accounts & trading platforms of choice to ensure results from the strategies built are realistic.
Disclaimer:
This script not provide indicative of any future results.
This script don’t provide any financial advice.
This strategy is only for the readymade snippet code for monthly PnL performance calender table for any own strategy.
Ichimoku Cloud with ADX (By Coinrule)The Ichimoku Cloud is a collection of technical indicators that show support and resistance levels, as well as momentum and trend direction. It does this by taking multiple averages and plotting them on a chart. It also uses these figures to compute a “cloud” that attempts to forecast where the price may find support or resistance in the future.
The Ichimoku Cloud was developed by Goichi Hosoda, a Japanese journalist, and published in the late 1960s. It provides more data points than the standard candlestick chart. While it seems complicated at first glance, those familiar with how to read the charts often find it easy to understand with well-defined trading signals.
The Ichimoku Cloud is composed of five lines or calculations, two of which comprise a cloud where the difference between the two lines is shaded in.
The lines include a nine-period average, a 26-period average, an average of those two averages, a 52-period average, and a lagging closing price line.
The cloud is a key part of the indicator. When the price is below the cloud, the trend is down. When the price is above the cloud, the trend is up.
The above trend signals are strengthened if the cloud is moving in the same direction as the price. For example, during an uptrend, the top of the cloud is moving up, or during a downtrend, the bottom of the cloud is moving down.
DMI is simple to interpret. When +DI > - DI, it means the price is trending up. On the other hand, when -DI > +DI , the trend is weak or moving on the downside. The ADX does not give an indication about the direction but about the strength of the trend.
Typically values of ADX above 25 mean that the trend is steeply moving up or down, based on the -DI and +D positioning. This script aims to capture swings in the DMI, and thus, in the trend of the asset, using a contrarian approach.
Trading on high values of ADX , the strategy tries to spot extremely oversold and overbought conditions. Values of ADX above 45 may suggest that the trend has overextended and is may be about to reverse.
This strategy combines the Ichimoku Cloud with the ADX indicator to better enter trades.
Long/Short orders are placed when these basic signals are triggered.
Long Position:
Tenkan-Sen is above the Kijun-Sen
Chikou-Span is above the close of 26 bars ago
Close is above the Kumo Cloud
MACD line crosses over the signal line
-DI is greater than +DI
ADX is greater than 45
Short Position:
Tenkan-Sen is below the Kijun-Sen
Chikou-Span is below the close of 26 bars ago
Close is below the Kumo Cloud
MACD line crosses under the signal line
+DI is greater than -DI
ADX is less than 45
The script is backtested from 1 January 2022 and provides good returns.
The strategy assumes each order is using 30% of the available coins to make the results more realistic and to simulate you only ran this strategy on 30% of your holdings. A trading fee of 0.1% is also taken into account and is aligned to the base fee applied on Binance.
This script also works well on MATIC (15m timeframe), ETH (5m timeframe), and SOL (15m timeframe).
STD Adaptive ADXm w/ Floating Levels [Loxx]STD Adaptive ADXm w/ Floating Levels is a standard deviation adaptive ADX indicator with adaptive floating boundary levels
What is the ADX?
Trading in the direction of a strong trend reduces risk and increases profit potential. The average directional index (ADX) is used to determine when the price is trending strongly. In many cases, it is the ultimate trend indicator. After all, the trend may be your friend, but it sure helps to know who your friends are. In this article, we'll examine the value of ADX as a trend strength indicator.
What is the ADXm?
Unlike the traditional ADX indicator, where the ADX itself is plotted in absolute units and detection of the trend direction is hindered, this indicator clearly displays the positive and negative ADX half-waves (displayed as colored on the chart).

888 BOT #alerts█ 888 BOT #alerts (open source)
This is an Expert Advisor 'EA' or Automated trading script for ‘longs’ and ‘shorts’, which uses only a Take Profit or, in the worst case, a Stop Loss to close the trade.
It's a much improved version of the previous ‘Repanocha’. It doesn`t use 'Trailing Stop' or 'security ()' functions (although using a security function doesn`t mean that the script repaints) and all signals are confirmed, therefore the script doesn`t repaint in alert mode and is accurate in backtest mode.
Apart from the previous indicators, some more and other functions have been added for Stop-Loss, re-entry and leverage.
It uses 8 indicators, (many of you already know what they are, but in case there is someone new), these are the following:
1. Jurik Moving Average
It's a moving average created by Mark Jurik for professionals which eliminates the 'lag' or delay of the signal. It's better than other moving averages like EMA , DEMA , AMA or T3.
There are two ways to decrease noise using JMA . Increasing the 'LENGTH' parameter will cause JMA to move more slowly and therefore reduce noise at the expense of adding 'lag'
The 'JMA LENGTH', 'PHASE' and 'POWER' parameters offer a way to select the optimal balance between 'lag' and over boost.
Green: Bullish , Red: Bearish .
2. Range filter
Created by Donovan Wall, its function is to filter or eliminate noise and to better determine the price trend in the short term.
First, a uniform average price range 'SAMPLING PERIOD' is calculated for the filter base and multiplied by a specific quantity 'RANGE MULTIPLIER'.
The filter is then calculated by adjusting price movements that do not exceed the specified range.
Finally, the target ranges are plotted to show the prices that will trigger the filter movement.
Green: Bullish , Red: Bearish .
3. Average Directional Index ( ADX Classic) and ( ADX Masanakamura)
It's an indicator designed by Welles Wilder to measure the strength and direction of the market trend. The price movement is strong when the ADX has a positive slope and is above a certain minimum level 'ADX THRESHOLD' and for a given period 'ADX LENGTH'.
The green color of the bars indicates that the trend is bullish and that the ADX is above the level established by the threshold.
The red color of the bars indicates that the trend is down and that the ADX is above the threshold level.
The orange color of the bars indicates that the price is not strong and will surely lateralize.
You can choose between the classic option and the one created by a certain 'Masanakamura'. The main difference between the two is that in the first it uses RMA () and in the second SMA () in its calculation.
4. Parabolic SAR
This indicator, also created by Welles Wilder, places points that help define a trend. The Parabolic SAR can follow the price above or below, the peculiarity that it offers is that when the price touches the indicator, it jumps to the other side of the price (if the Parabolic SAR was below the price it jumps up and vice versa) to a distance predetermined by the indicator. At this time the indicator continues to follow the price, reducing the distance with each candle until it is finally touched again by the price and the process starts again. This procedure explains the name of the indicator: the Parabolic SAR follows the price generating a characteristic parabolic shape, when the price touches it, stops and turns ( SAR is the acronym for 'stop and reverse'), giving rise to a new cycle. When the points are below the price, the trend is up, while the points above the price indicate a downward trend.
5. RSI with Volume
This indicator was created by LazyBear from the popular RSI .
The RSI is an oscillator-type indicator used in technical analysis and also created by Welles Wilder that shows the strength of the price by comparing individual movements up or down in successive closing prices.
LazyBear added a volume parameter that makes it more accurate to the market movement.
A good way to use RSI is by considering the 50 'RSI CENTER LINE' centerline. When the oscillator is above, the trend is bullish and when it is below, the trend is bearish .
6. Moving Average Convergence Divergence ( MACD ) and ( MAC-Z )
It was created by Gerald Appel. Subsequently, the histogram was added to anticipate the crossing of MA. Broadly speaking, we can say that the MACD is an oscillator consisting of two moving averages that rotate around the zero line. The MACD line is the difference between a short moving average 'MACD FAST MA LENGTH' and a long moving average 'MACD SLOW MA LENGTH'. It's an indicator that allows us to have a reference on the trend of the asset on which it is operating, thus generating market entry and exit signals.
We can talk about a bull market when the MACD histogram is above the zero line, along with the signal line, while we are talking about a bear market when the MACD histogram is below the zero line.
There is the option of using the MAC-Z indicator created by LazyBear, which according to its author is more effective, by using the parameter VWAP ( volume weighted average price ) 'Z-VWAP LENGTH' together with a standard deviation 'STDEV LENGTH' in its calculation.
7. Volume Condition
Volume indicates the number of participants in this war between bulls and bears, the more volume the more likely the price will move in favor of the trend. A low trading volume indicates a lower number of participants and interest in the instrument in question. Low volumes may reveal weakness behind a price movement.
With this condition, those signals whose volume is less than the volume SMA for a period 'SMA VOLUME LENGTH' multiplied by a factor 'VOLUME FACTOR' are filtered. In addition, it determines the leverage used, the more volume , the more participants, the more probability that the price will move in our favor, that is, we can use more leverage. The leverage in this script is determined by how many times the volume is above the SMA line.
The maximum leverage is 8.
8. Bollinger Bands
This indicator was created by John Bollinger and consists of three bands that are drawn superimposed on the price evolution graph.
The central band is a moving average, normally a simple moving average calculated with 20 periods is used. ('BB LENGTH' Number of periods of the moving average)
The upper band is calculated by adding the value of the simple moving average X times the standard deviation of the moving average. ('BB MULTIPLIER' Number of times the standard deviation of the moving average)
The lower band is calculated by subtracting the simple moving average X times the standard deviation of the moving average.
the band between the upper and lower bands contains, statistically, almost 90% of the possible price variations, which means that any movement of the price outside the bands has special relevance.
In practical terms, Bollinger bands behave as if they were an elastic band so that, if the price touches them, it has a high probability of bouncing.
Sometimes, after the entry order is filled, the price is returned to the opposite side. If price touch the Bollinger band in the same previous conditions, another order is filled in the same direction of the position to improve the average entry price, (% MINIMUM BETTER PRICE ': Minimum price for the re-entry to be executed and that is better than the price of the previous position in a given %) in this way we give the trade a chance that the Take Profit is executed before. The downside is that the position is doubled in size. 'ACTIVATE DIVIDE TP': Divide the size of the TP in half. More probability of the trade closing but less profit.
█ STOP LOSS and RISK MANAGEMENT.
A good risk management is what can make your equity go up or be liquidated.
The % risk is the percentage of our capital that we are willing to lose by operation. This is recommended to be between 1-5%.
% Risk: (% Stop Loss x % Equity per trade x Leverage) / 100
First the strategy is calculated with Stop Loss, then the risk per operation is determined and from there, the amount per operation is calculated and not vice versa.
In this script you can use a normal Stop Loss or one according to the ATR. Also activate the option to trigger it earlier if the risk percentage is reached. '% RISK ALLOWED' wich is calculated according with: '%EQUITY ON EACH ENTRY'. Only works with Stop Loss on 'NORMAL' or 'BOTH' mode.
'STOP LOSS CONFIRMED': The Stop Loss is only activated if the closing of the previous bar is in the loss limit condition. It's useful to prevent the SL from triggering when they do a ‘pump’ to sweep Stops and then return the price to the previous state.
█ ALERTS
There is an alert for each leverage, therefore a maximum of 8 alerts can be set for 'long' and 8 for 'short', plus an alert to close the trade with Take Profit or Stop Loss in market mode. You can also place Take Profit limit and Stop Loss limit orders a few seconds after filling the position entry order.
- 'MAXIMUM LEVERAGE': It is the maximum allowed multiplier of the % quantity entered on each entry for 1X according to the volume condition.
- 'ADVANCE ALERTS': There is always a time delay from when the alert is triggered until it reaches the exchange and can be between 1-15 seconds. With this parameter, you can advance the alert by the necessary seconds to activate it earlier. In this way it can be synchronized with the exchange so that the execution time of the entry order to the position coincides with the opening of the bar.
The settings are for Bitcoin at Binance Futures (BTC: USDTPERP) in 15 minutes.
For other pairs and other timeframes, the settings have to be adjusted again. And within a month, the settings will be different because we all know the market and the trend are changing.

'% RISK ALLOWED'
'STOP LOSS CONFIRMED': The Stop Loss is only activated if the closing of the previous bar is in the loss limit condition. It's useful to prevent the SL from triggering when they do a ‘pump’ to sweep Stops and then return the price to the previous state.
█ BACKTEST
The objective of the Backtest is to evaluate the effectiveness of our strategy. A good Backtest is determined by some parameters such as:
- RECOVERY FACTOR: It consists of dividing the 'net profit' by the 'drawdown’. An excellent trading system has a recovery factor of 10 or more; that is, it generates 10 times more net profit than drawdown.
- PROFIT FACTOR: The ‘Profit Factor’ is another popular measure of system performance. It's as simple as dividing what win trades earn by what loser trades lose. If the strategy is profitable then by definition the 'Profit Factor' is going to be greater than 1. Strategies that are not profitable produce profit factors less than one. A good system has a profit factor of 2 or more. The good thing about the ‘Profit Factor’ is that it tells us what we are going to earn for each dollar we lose. A profit factor of 2.5 tells us that for every dollar we lose operating we will earn 2.5.
- SHARPE: (Return system - Return without risk) / Deviation of returns.
When the variations of gains and losses are very high, the deviation is very high and that leads to a very poor ‘Sharpe’ ratio. If the operations are very close to the average (little deviation) the result is a fairly high 'Sharpe' ratio. If a strategy has a 'Sharpe' ratio greater than 1 it is a good strategy. If it has a 'Sharpe' ratio greater than 2, it is excellent. If it has a ‘Sharpe’ ratio less than 1 then we don't know if it is good or bad, we have to look at other parameters.
- MATHEMATICAL EXPECTATION: (% winning trades X average profit) + (% losing trades X average loss).
To earn money with a Trading system, it is not necessary to win all the operations, what is really important is the final result of the operation. A Trading system has to have positive mathematical expectation as is the case with this script: ME = (0.87 x 30.74$) - (0.13 x 56.16$) = (26.74 - 7.30) = 19.44$ > 0
The game of roulette, for example, has negative mathematical expectation for the player, it can have positive winning streaks, but in the long term, if you continue playing you will end up losing, and casinos know this very well.
PARAMETERS
'BACKTEST DAYS': Number of days back of historical data for the calculation of the Backtest.
'ENTRY TYPE': For '% EQUITY' if you have $ 10,000 of capital and select 7.5%, for example, your entry would be $ 750 without leverage. If you select CONTRACTS for the 'BTCUSDT' pair, for example, it would be the amount in 'Bitcoins' and if you select 'CASH' it would be the amount in $ dollars.
'QUANTITY (LEVERAGE 1X)': The amount for an entry with X1 leverage according to the previous section.
'MAXIMUM LEVERAGE': It's the maximum allowed multiplier of the quantity entered in the previous section according to the volume condition.

- Timeframes can be changed, but the description labels are currently hardcoded - if you want to change it, just copy the script and change them
- Currently there are two additional timeframes commented in the code - if you want to use them, just copy the script and uncomment them
Have fun and as always I am open for constructive feedback.
Cheers!
Colored ADX with DI+/- and thresholdsAverage Directional Index ( ADX )
Based off of MasaNakamura's implementation, modified to show high & super-high momentum thresholds. In addition, coloring the trend line by the prevailing trend direction from the DI (Red if down, Green if up) allows you to remove the DI if you want to reduce chart clutter!
"The Average Directional Index (ADX), Minus Directional Indicator (-DI) and Plus Directional Indicator (+DI) represent a group of directional movement indicators that form a trading system developed by Welles Wilder....
The Plus Directional Indicator (+DI) and Minus Directional Indicator (-DI) are derived from smoothed averages of these differences, and measure trend direction over time. These two indicators are often referred to collectively as the Directional Movement Indicator (DMI).
The Average Directional Index (ADX) is in turn derived from the smoothed averages of the difference between +DI and -DI, and measures the strength of the trend (regardless of direction) over time.
Using these three indicators together, chartists can determine both the direction and strength of the trend....
At its most basic, the Average Directional Index (ADX) can be used to determine if a security is trending or not. This determination helps traders choose between a trend-following system or a non-trend-following system. Wilder suggests that a strong trend is present when ADX is above 20..."

There are more plans to add vertical lines on crosses and divergence indicators so stay tuned!
Thank you and good trading!
Average Directional Index with DI SpreadThis indicator converts conventional triple lined ADX, DI+ and DI- into two lines. First line is the
original ADX line and second line is obtained by subtracting DI- from DI+ which named DI Spread(DIS)
If ADX is greater than 20 there is a trend and if greater than 40 there is a strong trend but ADX does not tell
the trend direction
To determine trend direction, DIS can be used with ADX; Sımply; If DIS is greater than 0, it is an uptrend and If DIS
is less than 0, it is a downtrend.
To sum up;
If ADX is greater than 20 and especially greater than 40 with positive DIS value, this implies an uptrend.
If ADX is greater than 20 and especially greater than 40 with negative DIS value, this implies a downtrend.
*Because of coloration and reference levels used, this indicator is really simple and efficient to analyze trend direction.
Kay_BBandsV3This is the 3rd version of Kay_BBands.
When +DI (Directional Index ) is above -DI , then Upper band will be visible and vice-versa.
This is when the ADX is above the threshold. 28 is the default in this version. I found its more appealing in 5M time frame.
BLUE - ADX under 10
GREEN - Uptrend, ADX over 10
RED - Downtrend, ADX over 10
Use it with another band with setting 20, 0.6 deviation. Prices keeping above or below the 2nd bands upper or lower bounds shows trending conditions.
I didn't know how to update the old script so published it again.
Changes - :
1) Updated default settings for the indicator
2) ADX setting are now DI (28), ADX (10), adx level to check is 10.
3) IMPORTANT one - When DI is up/down, lower/upper band will also have color (more visible that way.)
Play around the settings.. It really eliminates extra indicator checking visually... Please like if you think idea is good.
RSI + ADX + ATR 18-01-25Combining RSI (Relative Strength Index), ADX (Average Directional Index), and ATR (Average True Range) creates a synergistic approach to technical analysis. This powerful trio covers momentum, trend strength, and volatility, providing comprehensive insights into market conditions. Here's a deeper exploration of their combined results:
1. Momentum Assessment with RSI
Purpose: RSI measures the speed and magnitude of recent price changes to determine overbought or oversold levels.
Benefit in Combination:
When RSI indicates overbought (above 70) or oversold (below 30) levels, it signals a potential reversal or correction.
However, these signals can be false in strongly trending markets, which is why ADX is used alongside it.
2. Trend Strength Confirmation with ADX
Purpose: ADX confirms the presence and strength of a trend.
Benefit in Combination:
If RSI shows a potential reversal but ADX indicates a strong trend (above 25), the trend is likely to continue, and RSI signals may need to be approached with caution.
Conversely, if ADX is below 20 (weak trend), RSI signals are more likely to indicate genuine reversals, as the market lacks a strong directional push.
3. Volatility Analysis with ATR
Purpose: ATR evaluates the level of price volatility.
Benefit in Combination:
High ATR values indicate volatile conditions where prices can move significantly; this helps in setting wider stop-loss levels to avoid premature exits.
Low ATR values suggest quieter markets, where tighter stop-losses and profit targets are more suitable.
