🚨 Error Handling
Use Escape Characters Correctly: In message strings, remember to use \\n for new lines instead of \n. This ensures that the newline character is correctly interpreted in the JSON format.
It can be helpful to plot the json on the last candle
if barstate.islast
label.new(bar_index, high, text=debugMessage, color=color.red, textcolor=color.white, yloc=yloc.abovebar)
🔥 FAQs
Q1: Can I send alerts for multiple conditions?
A: Yes, you can configure multiple conditions in your script. Use separate if statements for each condition and call the discordWebhookJSON function with the relevant message for each alert.
Q2: Why is my alert not triggering?
A: Ensure your alert conditions are correct and that you've properly set up the webhook in both your script and TradingView's alert configuration. Also, check for any syntax errors in your script.
Q3: How many alerts can I send to Discord?

RecursiveAlertsLibrary "RecursiveAlerts"
The library provides options to run alert() calls in loop without worrying about limitations of frequency options.
When an alert statement is called within a loop,
it will fire just once per bar irrespective of how many iterations allowed when fequency is set to alert.freq_once_per_bar or alert.freq_once_per_bar_close
it will fire continuously till it breaks when frequency is set to alert.freq_all
The function helps overcome this issue by using varip key array which resets on every bar
rAlert(message, key) Enhanced alert which can be used in loops
Parameters:
message : Alert message to be fired
key : Key to be checked to avoid repetitive alerts
Returns: array containing id of already fired alerts
Thanks to @theheirophant, @JohnBaron and @LucF for discussions and suggestion which eventually lead to this solution :)
COMET_Scanner_Library_FINALLibrary "COMET_Scanner_Library"
- A Trader's Edge (ATE)_Library was created to assist in constructing COM Scanners
TickerIDs(_string)
TickerIDs: You must form this single tickerID input string exactly as described in the scripts info panel (little gray 'i' that
is circled at the end of the settings in the settings/input panel that you can hover your cursor over this 'i' to read the
details of that particular input). IF the string is formed correctly then it will break up this single string parameter into
a total of 40 separate strings which will be all of the tickerIDs that the script is using in your COM Scanner.
Parameters:
_string (simple string) : (string)
A maximum of 40 Tickers (ALL joined as 1 string for the input parameter) that is formulated EXACTLY as described
within the tooltips of the TickerID inputs in my COM Scanner scripts:
assets = input.text_area(tIDs, title="TickerIDs (MUST READ TOOLTIP)", group=g2, tooltip="Accepts 40 TICKERID's
for each copy of the script on the chart. \n\n*** MUST FORMAT THIS WAY ***\n\n Each FULL tickerID
(ie 'Exchange:ticker') must be separated by A SINGLE BLANK SPACE for correct formatting. The blank space tells
the script where to break off the ticker to assign it to a variable to be used later in the script. So this input
will be a single string constructed from up to 40 tickerID's with a space between each tickerID
(ie. 'BINANCE:BTCUSDT BINANCE:SXPUSDT BINANCE:XRPUSDT').", display=display.none)
Returns: Returns 40 output variables in the tuple (ie. between the ' ') with the separated TickerIDs,
Locations(_firstLocation)
Locations: This function is used when there's a desire to print an assets ALERT LABELS. A set Location on the scale is assigned to each asset.
This is created so that if a lot of alerts are triggered, they will stay relatively visible and not overlap each other.
If you set your '_firstLocation' parameter as 1, since there are a max of 40 assets that can be scanned, the 1st asset's location
is assigned the value in the '_firstLocation' parameter, the 2nd asset's location is the (1st asset's location+1)...and so on.
Parameters:
_firstLocation (simple int) : (simple int)
Optional (starts at 1 if no parameter added).
Location that you want the first asset to print its label if is triggered to do so.
ie. loc2=loc1+1, loc3=loc2+1, etc.
Returns: Returns 40 variables for the locations for alert labels
LabelSize(_barCnt, _lblSzRfrnce)
INVALID TICKERIDs: This is to add a table in the middle right of your chart that prints all the TickerID's that were either not formulated
correctly in the '_source' input or that is not a valid symbol and should be changed.
LABEL SIZES: This function sizes your Alert Trigger Labels according to the amount of Printed Bars the chart has printed within
a set time period, while also keeping in mind the smallest relative reference size you input in the 'lblSzRfrnceInput'
parameter of this function. A HIGHER % of Printed Bars(aka...more trades occurring for that asset on the exchange),
the LARGER the Name Label will print, potentially showing you the better opportunities on the exchange to avoid
exchange manipulation liquidations.
*** SHOULD NOT be used as size of labels that are your asset Name Labels next to each asset's Line Plot...
if your COM Scanner includes these as you want these to be the same size for every asset so the larger ones dont cover the
smaller ones if the plots are all close to each other ***
Parameters:
_barCnt (float) : (float)
Get the 1st variable('barCnt') from the Security function's tuple and input it as this functions 1st input
parameter which will directly affect the size of the 2nd output variable ('alertTrigLabel') that is also outputted by this function.
_lblSzRfrnce (string) : (string)
Optional (if parameter not included, it defaults to size.small). This will be the size of the variable outputted
by this function named 'assetNameLabel' BUT also affects the size of the output variable 'alertTrigLabel' as it uses this parameter's size
as the smallest size for 'alertTrigLabel' then uses the '_barCnt' parameter to determine the next sizes up depending on the "_barCnt" value.
Returns: ( )
Returns 2 variables:
1st output variable ('AssetNameLabel') is assigned to the size of the 'lblSzRfrnceInput' parameter.
2nd output variable('alertTrigLabel') can be of variying sizes depending on the 'barCnt' parameter...BUT the smallest
size possible for the 2nd output variable ('alertTrigLabel') will be the size set in the 'lblSzRfrnceInput' parameter.
InvalidTickerIDs(_close, _securityTickerid, _invalidArray, _tablePosition, _stackVertical)
Parameters:
_close (float)
_securityTickerid (string)
_invalidArray (array)
_tablePosition (simple string)
_stackVertical (simple bool)
PrintedBarCount(_time, _barCntLength, _barCntPercentMin)
The Printed BarCount Filter looks back a User Defined amount of minutes and calculates the % of bars that have printed
out of the TOTAL amount of bars that COULD HAVE been printed within the same amount of time.
Parameters:
_time (int) : (int)
The time associated with the chart of the particular asset that is being screened at that point.
_barCntLength (int) : (int)
The amount of time (IN MINUTES) that you want the logic to look back at to calculate the % of bars that have actually
printed in the span of time you input into this parameter.
_barCntPercentMin (int) : (int)
The minimum % of Printed Bars of the asset being screened has to be GREATER than the value set in this parameter
for the output variable 'bc_gtg' to be true.
Returns: ( )
Returns 2 outputs:
1st is the % of Printed Bars that have printed within the within the span of time you input in the '_barCntLength' parameter.
2nd is true/false according to if the Printed BarCount % is above the threshold that you input into the '_barCntPercentMin' parameter.

DIN: Dynamic Trend NavigatorDIN: Dynamic Trend Navigator
Overview
The Dynamic Trend Navigator script is designed to help traders identify and capitalize on market trends using a combination of Weighted Moving Averages (WMA), Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP), and Anchored VWAP (AVWAP). The script provides customizable settings and flexible alerts for various crossover conditions, enhancing its utility for different trading strategies.
Key Features
- **1st and 2nd WMA**: Allows users to set and visualize two Weighted Moving Averages. These can be customized to any period, providing flexibility in trend identification.
- **VWAP and AVWAP**: Incorporates both VWAP and AVWAP, offering insights into price levels adjusted by volume.
- **ATR and ADX Indicators**: Includes the Average True Range (ATR) and Average Directional Index (ADX) to help assess market volatility and trend strength.
- **Flexible Alerts**: Configurable buy and sell alerts for any crossover condition, making it versatile for various trading strategies.
How to Use the Script
1. **Set the WMA Periods**: Customize the periods for the 1st and 2nd WMAs to suit your trading strategy.
2. **Enable VWAP and AVWAP**: Choose whether to include VWAP and AVWAP in your analysis by enabling the respective settings.
3. **Configure Alerts**: Set up alerts for the desired crossover conditions (WMA, VWAP, AVWAP) to receive notifications for potential trading opportunities.
4. **Monitor Signals**: Watch for buy and sell signals indicated by triangle shapes on the chart, which appear at the selected crossover points.
When to Use
- **Best Time to Use**: The script is most effective in trending markets where price movements are well-defined. It helps traders stay on the right side of the trend and avoid false signals during periods of low volatility.
- **When Not to Use**: Avoid using the script in choppy or sideways markets where price action lacks direction. The script may generate false signals in such conditions, leading to potential losses.
Benefits of VWAP and AVWAP
- **VWAP**: The Volume Weighted Average Price provides a price benchmark that adjusts for volume, helping traders identify fair value levels. It is particularly useful for intraday trading and gauging market sentiment.
- **AVWAP**: The Anchored VWAP allows traders to set a starting point for VWAP calculations, providing flexibility in analyzing price levels over specific periods or events. This helps in identifying key support and resistance levels based on volume.
Unique Aspects
- **Customizability**: The script offers extensive customization options for WMA periods, VWAP, AVWAP, and alert conditions, making it adaptable to various trading strategies.
- **Combining Indicators**: By integrating WMAs, VWAP, AVWAP, ATR, and ADX, the script provides a comprehensive view of market conditions, enhancing decision-making.
- **Real-Time Alerts**: The flexible alert system ensures traders receive timely notifications for potential trade setups, improving responsiveness to market changes.
Examples
- **Example 1**: A trader sets the 1st WMA to 8 and the 2nd WMA to 100, enabling the VWAP. When the 1st WMA crosses above the 2nd WMA or VWAP, a buy signal is triggered, indicating a potential long entry.
- **Example 2**: A trader sets the AVWAP to start 30 bars ago and monitors for crossovers with the 1st WMA. When the 1st WMA crosses below the AVWAP, a sell signal is triggered, suggesting a potential short entry.
Final Notes
The Dynamic Trend Navigator script is a powerful tool for traders looking to enhance their market analysis and trading decisions. Its unique combination of customizable indicators and flexible alert system sets it apart from other scripts, making it a valuable addition to any trader's toolkit.

Alert Creation Framework - PineCoders FAQThis script provides a framework to add alerts to a script.
It uses a method and provides code that:
— Allows the indicator's users to select the plotting of markers representing the different conditions used to trigger alerts.
— Allows filtering of the markers on direction: both, longs only, shorts only.
— Uses a single alert for the indicator. It will trigger on any number of marker conditions selected by the user when the alert is configured. The user can thus create the combination that suits his needs.
— Includes the marker's number in the alert's message.
NOTES
— Alerts should usually be configured to trigger Once Per Bar Close to prevent false signals.
— See the Pine User Manual page on alerts .
— This code uses the Pine Script Coding Conventions .

Alerts and symbolswhat is "Alerts and symbols"?
It is an indicator that allows you to watch more trading pairs and add alarms to them.
what it does?
It allows you to set a total of 20 different intersection alarms, 2 in each pair, for 10 different trading pairs at the same time.
It draws the candlestick chart of a pair you choose among 10 trading pairs and the alarm lines you created for this trading pair on the chart.
It also allows you to see the prices of 10 different trading pairs at the same time, thanks to the table it creates.
how to use it?
First, select the alarm pairs you want to use, for example, BTCUSDT pair is the default value for "pair 1". You can choose 10 different trading pairs as you wish. Just below each trading pair, there are two different sections titled "line 1" and "line 2" so that you can set an alarm. Type here the price levels at which you want to be alerted in case of a price crossover.
You can use the "candle source" section to examine the candlestick charts of trading pairs. The indicator draws the candle chart of the trading pair selected in the "candle source" section.
Check the "show alert lines on chart" box to see the levels you have set an alarm for.
When everything is ready, first click on the three dots next to the indicator's name and then on the clock icon. then create an alarm and that's it.

offline_detection Library
Description:
Boolean and alert functions that check if the latest user-selected symbol 'sym' has started printing. Alerts trigger by bar close.
Usage:
Mainly for 24/7 crypto exchanges. If an exchange you have alerts on goes offline, the alerts will not trigger. The offline alert is an alert to alert you of that. It's best to create the alerts while on "CRYPTOCAP:TOTAL" because it has the least downtime. The exchange you want alerts on is controlled by the 'sym' parameter. The alerts need to be enabled yourself.
Limitations:
The alerts may be triggered by no volume in a bar, so it's best to set it on timeframes higher than 1 minute. Alerts are not enabled in libraries so the functions must be imported or copied into another script. alert.freq cannot be changed by input because it becomes a series string in a function. dynamic_requests must be true to export functions using `request.*()` calls.
Example:
import NeoButane/offline_detection/1
thing = "COINBASE:BTCUSD"
offline_detection.offlineAlertNoSpam(thing)
offline_detection.onlineAlert(thing)
warningsign()
Library "offline_detection"
Creates alerts for the user-selected symbol by checking if its latest bar is current by comparing it against another chart.
isItDown(sym)
Checks if 'sym' is offline by requesting time of 'sym'.
Parameters:
sym (simple string) : (const string) The user-selected symbol in the form of "PREFIX:TICKER".
Returns: True if time of 'sym' is not available.
isItDownNoSpam(sym)
Checks if 'sym' is offline by requesting time of 'sym' once.
Parameters:
sym (simple string) : (const string) The user-selected symbol in the form of "PREFIX:TICKER".
Returns: True if time of 'sym' is not available and it was available in the previous bar close.
isItUp(sym)
Checks if 'sym' is online after being offline by using isItDown().
Parameters:
sym (simple string) : (const string) The user-selected symbol in the form of "PREFIX:TICKER".
Returns: True if time of 'sym' is available in the current bar but wasn't prior.
offlineAlert(sym)
Checks if isItDown() is true.
Parameters:
sym (simple string) : (const string) The user-selected symbol in the form of "PREFIX:TICKER".
Returns: An alert when the symbol is not online and the time in UTC. This will continue triggering every bar close until the symbol is online.
offlineAlertNoSpam(sym)
Checks if isItDown() is true.
Parameters:
sym (simple string) : (const string) The user-selected symbol in the form of "PREFIX:TICKER".
Returns: An alert when the symbol is not online and the time in UTC.
onlineAlert(sym)
Checks if isItUp() is true.
Parameters:
sym (simple string) : (const string) The user-selected symbol in the form of "PREFIX:TICKER".
Returns: An alert when the symbol is now online and the time in UTC.
warningsign()
Checks if the current chart is "CRYPTOCAP:TOTAL".
Returns: A reminder on the chart.
[Alerts]QQE Cross v6.0 by JustUncleLDescription:
This is a major upgrade of my original QQE indicator Tool, this version is directed at Forex and Crypto Margin trading. This version can also be used with AutoView/ProfitView Chrome add-on in a semi-automatic (turn on only when conditions are favorable) or automatic way, with Signal to Signal or Signal to Close trading.
This is a Trend following indicator that uses fast QQE crosses to capture swings in direction of the main Trend. Alerts are filtered with Two Moving Average Ribbons and/or Direction of MAs. The QQE or Qualitative Quantitative Estimation is based on the relative strength index (RSI), but uses a smoothing technique as an additional transformation. Three crosses can be selected (all selected by default):
Smooth RSI signal crossing ZERO (XZ)
Smooth RSI signal crossing Fast QQE line (XQ), this is like an early warning swing signal.
Smooth RSI signal exiting the RSI Threshhold Channel (XC), this is like a confirmed swing signal. An optimal Smooth RSI threshold level is between 5% and 10% (default=10), it helps reduce the false swings.
These signals can be selected to Open Short/Long and/or Close a trade, default is XC open trade and XQ (or opposite open) to Close trade.
The (LONG/SHORT) alerts can be optionally filtered by the Moving Average Ribbons:
For LONG alert the Close must be above the fast MA Ribbon and fast MA Ribbon must be above the slow MA Ribbon.
For SHORT alert the Close must be below the fast MA Ribbon and fast MA Ribbon must be below the slow MA Ribbon.
and/or directional filter:
For LONG alert the Close must be above the medium MA and the directional of both MA ribbons must be Bullish.
For SELL alert the Close must be below the medium MA and the directional of both MA ribbons must be Bearish.
This indicator is designed to be used as a Signal to Signal trading BOT in automatic or semi-automatic way (start and stop when conditions are suitable).
For LONG and SHORT alerts I recommend you use "Once per Bar" alarm option
For CLOSE alerts I recommend you use "Once per Bar Close" alarm option
(* The script has been designed so that long/short signals come at start of candles *)
(* and close signals come at the end of candles *)
