I went over this in last night's video as one of my 5 trade ideas for the week, but I guess I never posted the text version. Here it is, I expected a potential gap fill and fakeout above the trendline which is exactly what we got. Looking for a move back down to the 167 area for now.

I don't necessarily trade all the ideas I post here, but I take a lot of them. Especially the ones I will be including on the top 5 list each week because those are the ones I'll have the most confidence in. I think this chart can be used for both short term and long term. I decided to open some weeklies yesterday when I saw it reject the gap fill as I expected, with small size as a bit of a gamble.

It worked nicely and I think it will continue down, but I took the majority of the position off. It didn't really hit any of my targets, but it did drop significantly shortly after I opened the position which resulted in a 250% spike on the premium so I took most of it off before close, mainly because of Powell tomorrow. I held runners and I'll let them ride, but I consider the trade closed now.

I was considering posting the position and P&L here, but I'm not sure if I should. I like to be transparent and show that I actually put my own real money behind my ideas. I don't post things if it's not something I'd consider, even if I don't take it. Some things I post I never plan on playing, it's just for educational purposes, but I still believe it to be solid analysis or I wouldn't post it. Anyway, it doesn't matter what my P&L is, it just matters if my ideas work or not and if they present reasonable risk/reward so I think I'll refrain. I try to promote my analysis instead of my P&L because I've learned that is probably the best way to go for many reasons.

Welp the runners didn't do well, but that's okay. I think this might have been the best trade ideas from the top 5 this week. It's the one I actually made money on anyway, the rest I am still in. I mostly have been going with longer dates. Feeling good about those trades too, but they will take time to develop. I think AMZN could still be a fine longer term hold, I wouldn't sell here if I had gotten longer dated puts.

Overall looking good on AMZN GME LULU, but I'll do a recap of them all.
