While history does not repeat, it does rhyme. Looking at historical prices we see that the market has come back to close the gap and retest previous price levels - and fill the GAP (resistance that has become support levels etc.)
The price of BTC may rise until Segwit2x or even when futures trading opens on CME... but one thing I know is that sooner or later the price comes back to fill the GAP.
