Here might be an interesting short setup for the next couple of days before the Santa Claus Rally starts.
Facts:
- roc5 = 6.12 which led to choppiness and/or sideways movement in the past; combined with a high rsi > 80 and a high ma20 to price distance (lower panel macd 1,20)
- the small measured move target was reached approximately
- oPeX next week suggest a lower settlement price
- avrg. daily atr in % (1y) are 170points; consider this as a part of your sl
Be aware that due to yesterdays ECB press conference Dax might target the "full measured move target area" first.
Thats why I suggest you only enter the trade via an open range breakout, so you dont get trapped on the wrong side if the index moves further to the upside. You can also take a starter position at the beginning and add if the trade moves in your direction. Target should be the restest of the breakout.
