Disappointed with Ethereum?

Some might be feeling a little cheated by the relative underperformance of ETHUSD versus Bitcoin as can be seen easily by looking at a chart of the cross ETHBTC. However, I think folks might feel better if the put their holdings into perspective by looking at the alternative of "doing nothing" compared to just having your assets in cash over the last month.

Another interesting thing I noted when writing this piece for comparison was that the inflection points between Ethereum and the Dollar Index was that they match. There is of course going to be a de facto correlation because the cross itself. It is interesting to note that a cryptocurrency would behave just as any other international currency pair.
