The pound has reached a tentative high and is about to rest
This chart shows the line trend of the pound against the US dollar from the beginning of 2022 to the present. As shown in the figure, the GBP USD has reached its high point in May 2022, and this position is also near the starting point for short positions before the GBP USD bottoms out! So after the pound breaks through this position against the dollar, it is likely that it will take a brief rest before it can exert its force again!
