I use to shy away from coin that had gone up the most on the day. Would think that I had missed the train and if I jump on, I would get burned. But this would only be true when the BEAR is in charge.
Easiest time to trade is in the uptrend. Trade between the lines. You just can't loose because if you miss it, just hold for it to "reload". If there is such thing as easy money, this would be it.
