SLB Schlumberger Limited Options Ahead of Earnings

Analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of SLB Schlumberger Limited prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 54usd strike price in the money Puts with
an expiration date of 2024-4-19,
for a premium of approximately $3.10.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

SLB traded at $49.84 at expiration, and the Puts went up from $3.10 (when I wrote this article) to $4.16 at the close on friday (a lot higher intraday), for about 35% gain!
