XEC will probably kills the zero. XEC is layer-1 which is very ready to become a scalable blockchain. Apart from that, XEC itself has many very interesting roadmaps, one of which is halving!
other than that, I'm really waiting for Avalanche, Avalanche will make a significant difference to XEC which will be released soon.
