Bank of Mexico signals smaller interest rate cuts on horizon

The Bank of Mexico's future rate decisions are likely to be smaller than its recent cuts, minutes from the bank's June monetary policy showed on Thursday.

According to the minutes, the four board members who voted to cut the rate by 50 basis points in June - the bank's fourth straight cut of that magnitude - also said the bank could take a more gradual approach in future policy decisions.
