TTF Prices Hover at 2-Week Low

European natural gas futures held steady near €33/MWh, their lowest in over two weeks, as strong supply and relaxed storage rules keep market pressures in check.

Despite extended maintenance at Norway’s giant Troll field—now expected to last until Thursday with reduced capacity—pipeline flows remain steady.

Also, Europe’s LNG demand has outpaced weaker-than-expected demand in Asia.

EU storage levels are now over 65%, compared to 83% at the same time last year, with Germany above 57%, Italy over 77%, and France near 73%.

To support restocking, the European Parliament approved more flexible storage targets, giving countries until December to reach 90% capacity rather than the previous September deadline.
