ARVEX Range Matrix

ARVEX Range Matrix is an automatic consolidation (range) detection tool that helps visualize when price is behaving in a bounded range and when it transitions into a post-break / expansion phase.

Instead of manually drawing boxes, it continuously scans recent price action and highlights ranges that meet defined structural and volatility conditions. When price leaves a validated range, the script can plot projection levels based on the prior range height to support planning and chart organization.

This indicator is designed for market structure visualization and educational analysis. It does not provide financial advice.

What you see
• A range box (high/low boundaries) when a valid consolidation is detected
• An equilibrium midline inside the range
• Optional break markers when price closes outside the range (rule-based)
• Projection levels after a confirmed break (based on the former range size)
• A compact HUD showing:
• Bias (Up / Down)
• Regime (Inside / Post-Break / Idle)
• Score (0–100) representing how clean the structure is per the script’s internal rules

How it works (high level)

A range is validated using a combination of:
• Volatility/width constraints (ATR-aware sizing)
• Structural interaction (multiple touches / interaction with boundaries)
• Containment behavior (price spending meaningful time inside the range)

A “break” is only flagged when the script’s close-of-bar rules are satisfied (optional impulse/filters may apply depending on settings).
