Volatility Expansion Index (VEI)
The indicator calculates a proprietary Volatility Expansion Index by comparing short-term ATR to long-term ATR baseline. This ratio identifies three distinct market states:
Goldilocks Zone (1.0 - 1.5): Optimal expansion for trend continuation.
Asleep (<1.0): Low volatility, consolidation phase.
Exhaustion (>1.5): Overextended moves, reversal risk.
Momentum Candle Detection
The system identifies significant momentum candles using multiple validation criteria:
Body Size: Candle body must exceed average by customizable multiplier
Wick Analysis: Total wick percentage filtered to ensure conviction
Fair Value Gap (Optional): Clean price gaps between candles
Ribbon Breakout (Recommended ON): Price closes outside EMA 10/20 value area.
Multi-Timeframe Context
5M EMA Slope: Immediate trend direction for entry timing
Daily Bias: 50/200 EMA cross on daily timeframe for strategic alignment
4H Regime: Expansion vs. grind mode classification.

Optimized for institutional trading sessions with high liquidity:
Killzones: London Open (2-5 AM EST) + NY Session (9-10:30 AM EST)
Body Multiplier: 1.5x (captures rapid trend starts)
ATR Period: 20 (responsive to intraday volatility)
FVG Required: Yes (filters false breakouts)
VEI Rise: Any increase (catches early expansion)
2) BTCUSDT Configuration :-
Trading Philosophy: 24/7 Liquidation Catcher
Designed for cryptocurrency's continuous market and higher noise:
Killzones: Disabled (24/7 trading)
Body Multiplier: 2.0x (filters random wicking)
ATR Period: 50 (longer baseline for crypto volatility)
FVG Required: No (too restrictive for crypto)
VEI Rise: 5% minimum (requires significant expansion)
3) EURUSD Configuration :-
Trading Philosophy: Session Trend Rider
Calibrated for forex market microstructure and news events:
Killzones: Pre-London (1-5 AM) + NY Overlap (8-11 AM EST)

Signal Generation Logic
Entry Conditions (All Must Be Met)
Momentum candle formed (body size + wick criteria)
VEI in Goldilocks zone when candle formed (1.0-1.5)
ADX above minimum threshold (trend confirmation)
Inside designated session window (if enabled)
Optional: FVG present, ribbon breakout confirmed
Visual Signals
Green Triangle (Below Bar): Bullish momentum setup
Red Triangle (Above Bar): Bearish momentum setup
Triangles appear one candle after momentum candle forms.
Critical Safety Features
The Red Dashboard Override
Most Important Rule: A triangle signal may appear while the dashboard shows RED. This occurs when:
Momentum candle was valid when it formed (VEI in Goldilocks)
VEI has since moved into exhaustion zone (>1.5)
This indicates a "blow-off" move that accelerated too quickly
Action: Do not enter trades when dashboard shows RED, even with triangle present. This protects against chasing overextended moves that often reverse quickly.
