This indicator, Volume - Split Buy/Sell, visually separates each volume bar into estimated buy and sell components based on the candle structure.
Buy Volume is estimated as the portion of volume corresponding to upward price movement.
Sell Volume is the remaining volume, assumed to be driven by downward pressure.
The split is based on a simple heuristic using candle high, low, and close to proportionally allocate volume.
This helps traders better understand order flow dynamics and market sentiment behind each candle — identifying whether rising volume is buyer-driven or seller-driven.
The indicator plots:
Green bars: Buy Volume
Red bars: Sell Volume
Note: This is an approximation based on price action — actual trade-by-trade data is not available on standard TradingView feeds.
