Detect BOS in Five Candles with MTF - Alert [MsF]Japanese below / 日本語説明は英文の後にあります。
-------------------------
*This indicator is based on azmathshah's "Last Three Candles each of Two HTF".
It's a very cool indicator. thank you.
You can detect trend reversal with candlesticks.
It's MTF compatible and can display up to 2 sets of 5 candles of any time frame on the right side of the chart.
By displaying the candles of the upper time frame bars, you can check the trend change and measure the entry timing with the lower time frame bars.
There are two types of alerts.
"Liquidity Sweep": This is an alert when the upper beard (high) of ③ is touched with the next foot.
"Candle Close": An alert when the upper whisker (high) of ③ is exceeded by the closing price of the next bar (generally a strong signal)
-------------------------

Multi-Timeframe MA Based Zigzag[liwei666]🎲 Overview
🎯 This Zigzag indicator build based on different MA such as EMA/HMA/RMA/SMA, support multi-timeframe setting .
you can get customer zigzag indicator by change short/long ma length and high-timeframe config(5m/15m/30m/1h/2h) in any symbol.
🎲 Indicator design logic
🎯 entired logic is simple and code looks complex, I‘ll explain core logic here, code already equipped with detailed comments.
1. use close-in EMA's highest/lowest value mark as SWING High/Low when EMA crossover/under, not use func ta.pivothigh()/ta.pivotlow()
2. when EMA crossover/under plot a char as signal like ●/❄/▲, crossover get blue char crossunder get red char
3. latest zigzag line is not drawn until EMA is turned (crossover/under), but signal is realtime
4. you can see diff zigzag structure when you open high-timeframe config, then find regular pattern benefit your trading.
🎲 Settings
🎯 there are 3 group properties in script, just focus on 5 properties in 'GRP1' ,
'GRP2' and 'GRP3' are display config.
'GRP1':
MA_Type: MA type you can choose(EMA/RMA/SMA/HMA/WMA), default is EMA
short_ma_len: short MA length of your current timeframe on chart
long_ma_len: long MA length of your current timeframe on chart
htf_ma_len: MA length of high timeframe, MA type same as 'MA_Type' config
htf_ma_tf: high timeframe ma length, 15/30/60/120 minute
'GRP2':
• show_short_zz • show_long_zz • show_htf_zz:
'GRP3':
• show_short_ma_line • show_short_ma_signal
• show_long_ma_line • show_long_ma_signal
• show_htf_ma_line • show_htf_ma_signal
🎲 Usage
🎯 As we know, MA based signal usually worked fine in trend market , low volatility is unprofitable.
🎯 One of pattern as the chart show below.
1. success example : after a blue ▲ signal, entry long when blue ● signal appear, marked with green box.
2. failed example: after a blue ▲ signal, a red ▼ signal appear, marked with white box.
🎯 BoS(Break of Structure) based on ma zigzag is a good idea I'm implementing, it will be published in next script.
Additionally, I plan to publish 20 profitable strategies in 2023; this indicatior not one of them,
let‘s witness it together!
Hope this indicator will be useful for you :)
enjoy! 🚀🚀🚀
DonchianFib[Akcay]How does it work?
- The indicator detects the highest and lowest price level in the last x periods every time prices advance by x periods.
- From these values, retracement (0.618, 0.786) and expansion levels (1.272, 1.618, 2, 2.618, 3.14, 3.618, 4.236) are obtained.
- Since the symmetrical counterpart of the retracement levels is used, there are two of each of the 0.618 and 0.786 lines, for a total of four.
How can it be used?
- It can be used for step buying.
- It can be used for step selling.
- Can be used to set a profit target.
- Can be used to set a stop target.
- This indicator can be used in the same way as Pivot levels can be used. You can think of this indicator like the Pivot Points Standard indicator, where you set the period more flexibly.
Which indicators can it be combined with?
- I don't think there are any limitations, but I think it is compatible with trend detection indicators, trend detection with DonchianFib, and stepped buy/sell with limit orders.
- If you want to enter a position with mismatch signals, you can wait for the DonchianFib levels to break.
- Its use is limited by your imagination :)
Where does the name come from?
- As the name suggests, Donchian Channels. I was inspired by Donchian Channels when developing the indicator. Donchian channels show the highs and lows of prices over the last x number of periods. DonchianFib does this once for every x periods and uses the fibonacci levels to create upper and intermediate levels.
Note : I don't know if such an indicator has been done before or not. If it has been done, I haven't seen it in tradingview.
Not : Daha önce böyle bir göstergenin yapılıp yapılmadığını bilmiyorum. Yapıldı ise ben tradingview'da görmedim.
Candlestick Pattern Criteria and Analysis Indicator█ OVERVIEW
Define, then locate the presence of a candle that fits a specific criteria. Run a basic calculation on what happens after such a candle occurs.
Here, I’m not giving you an edge, but I’m giving you a clear way to find one.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE READ:
THE INDICATOR WILL ALWAYS INITIALLY LOAD WITH A RUNTIME ERROR. WHEN INITIALLY LOADED THERE NO CRITERIA SELECTED.
If you do not select a criteria or run a search for a criteria that doesn’t exist, you will get a runtime error. If you want to force the chart to load anyway, enable the debug panel at the bottom of the settings menu.
Who this is for:
- People who want to engage in TradingView for tedious and challenging data analysis related to candlestick measurement and occurrence rate and signal bar relationships with subsequent bars. People who don’t know but want to figure out what a strong bullish bar or a strong bearish bar is.
Who this is not for:
- People who want to be told by an indicator what is good or bad or buy or sell. Also, not for people that don’t have any clear idea on what they think is a strong bullish bar or a strong bearish bar and aren’t willing to put in the work.
Recommendation: Use on the candle resolution that accurately reflects your typical holding period. If you typically hold a trade for 3 weeks, use 3W candles. If you hold a trade for 3 minutes, use 3m candles.
Tldr; Read the tool tips and everything above this line. Let me know any issues that arise or questions you have.
█ CONCEPTS
Many trading styles indicate that a certain candle construct implies a bearish or bullish future for price. That said, it is also common to add to that idea that the context matters. Of course, this is how you end up with all manner of candlestick patterns accounting for thousands of pages of literature. No matter the context though, we can distill a discretionary trader's decision to take a trade based on one very basic premise: “A trader decides to take a trade on the basis of the rightmost candle's construction and what he/she believes that candle construct implies about the future price.” This indicator vets that trader’s theory in the most basic way possible. It finds the instances of any candle construction and takes a look at what happens on the next bar. This current bar is our “Signal Bar.”
█ GUIDE
I said that we vet the theory in the most basic way possible. But, in truth, this indicator is very complex as a result of there being thousands of ways to define a ‘strong’ candle. And you get to define things on a very granular level with this indicator.
Features:
1. Candle Highlighting
When the user’s criteria is met, the candle is highlighted on the chart.
The following candle is highlighted based on whether it breaks out, breaks down, or is an inside bar.
2. User-Defined Criteria
Criteria that you define include:
Candle Type: Bull bars, Bear bars, or both
Candle Attributes
Average Size based on Standard Deviation or Average of all potential bars in price history
Search within a specific price range
Search within a specific time range
Clarify time range using defined sessions and with or without weekends
3. Strike Lines on Candle
Often you want to know how price reacts when it gets back to a certain candle. Also it might be true that candle types cluster in a price region. This can be identified visually by adding lines that extend right on candles that fit the criteria.
4. User-Defined Context
Labeled “Alternative Criteria,” this facet of the script allows the user to take the context provided from another indicator and import it into the indicator to use as a overriding criteria. To account for the fact that the external indicator must be imported as a float value, true (criteria of external indicator is met) must be imported as 1 and false (criteria of external indicator is not met) as 0. Basically a binary Boolean. This can be used to create context, such as in the case of a traditional fractal, or can be used to pair with other signals.
If you know how to code in Pinescript, you can save a copy and simply add your own code to the section indicated in the code and set your bull and bear variables accordingly and the code should compile just fine with no further editing needed.
Included with the script to maximize out-of-the-box functionality, there is preloaded as alternative criteria a code snippet. The criteria is met on the bull side when the current candle close breaks out above the prior candle high. The bear criteria is met when the close breaks below the prior candle. When Alternate Criteria is run by itself, this is the only criteria set and bars are highlighted when it is true. You can qualify these candles by adding additional attributes that you think would fit well.
Using Alternative Criteria, you are essentially setting a filter for the rest of the criteria.
5. Extensive Read Out in the Data Window (right side bar pop out window).
As you can see in the thumbnail, there is pasted a copy of the Data Window Dialogue. I am doubtful I can get the thumbnail to load up perfectly aligned. Its hard to get all these data points in here. It may be better suited for a table at this point. Let me know what you think.
The primary, but not exclusive, purpose of what is in the Data Window is to talk about how often your criteria happens and what happens on the next bar. There are a lot of pieces to this.
Red = Values pertaining to the size of the current bar only
Blue = Values pertaining or related to the total number of signals
Green = Values pertaining to the signal bars themselves, including their measurements
Purple = Values pertaining to bullish bars that happen after the signal bar
Fuchsia = Values pertaining to bearish bars that happen after the signal bar
Lime = Last four rows which are your percentage occurrence vs total signals percentages
The best way I can explain how to understand parts you don’t understand otherwise in the data window is search the title of the row in the code using ‘ctrl+f’ and look at it and see if it makes more sense.
█ [b}Available Candle Attributes
Candle attributes can be used in any combination. They include:
[*}Bodies
[*}High/Low Range
[*}Upper Wick
[*}Lower Wick
[*}Average Size
[*}Alternative Criteria
Criteria will evaluate each attribute independently. If none is set for a particular attribute it is bypassed.
Criteria Quantity can be in Ticks, Points, or Percentage. For percentage keep in mind if using anything involving the candle range will not work well with percentage.
Criteria Operators are “Greater Than,” “Less Than,” and “Threshold.” Threshold means within a range of two numbers.
█ Problems with this methodology and opportunities for future development:
#1 This kind of work is hard.
If you know what you’re doing you might be able to find success changing out the inputs for loops and logging results in arrays or matrices, but to manually go through and test various criteria is a lot of work. However, it is rewarding. At the time of publication in early Oct 2022, you will quickly find that you get MUCH more follow through on bear bars than bull bars. That should be obvious because we’re in the middle of a bear market, but you can still work with the parameters and contextual inputs to determine what maximizes your probability. I’ve found configurations that yield 70% probability across the full series of bars. That’s an edge. That means that 70% of the time, when this criteria is met, the next bar puts you in profit.
#2 The script is VERY heavy.
Takes an eternity to load. But, give it a break, it’s doing a heck of a lot! There is 10 unique arrays in here and a loop that is a bit heavy but gives us the debug window.
#3 If you don’t have a clear idea its hard to know where to start.
There are a lot of levers to pull on in this script. Knowing which ones are useful and meaningful is very challenging. Combine that with long load times… its not great.
#4 Your brain is the only thing that can optimize your results because the criteria come from your mind.
Machine learning would be much more useful here, but for now, you are the machine. Learn.
#5 You can’t save your settings.
So, when you find a good combo, you’ll have to write it down elsewhere for future reference. It would be nice if we could save templates on custom indicators like we can on some of the built in drawing tools, but I’ve had no success in that. So, I recommend screenshotting your settings and saving them in Notion.so or some other solid record keeping database. Then you can go back and retrieve those settings.
#6 no way to export these results into conditions that can be copy/pasted into another script.
Copy/Paste of labels or tables would be the best feature ever at this point. Because you could take the criteria and put it in a label, copy it and drop it into another strategy script or something. But… men can dream.
█ Opportunities to PineCoders Learn:
1. In this script I’m importing libraries, showing some of my libraries functionality. Hopefully that gives you some ideas on how to use them too.
The price displacement library (which I love!)
Creative and conventional ways of using debug()
how to display arrays and matrices on charts
I didn’t call in the library that holds the backtesting function. But, also demonstrating, you can always pull the library up and just copy/paste the function out of there and into your script. That’s fine to do a lot of the time.
2. I am using REALLY complicated logic in this script (at least for me). I included extensive descriptions of this ? : logic in the text of the script. I also did my best to bracket () my logic groups to demonstrate how they fit together, both for you and my future self.
3. The breakout, built-in, “alternative criteria” is actually a small bit of genius built in there if you want to take the time to understand that block of code and think about some of the larger implications of the method deployed.
As always, a big thank you to TradingView and the Pinescript community, the Pinescript pros who have mentored me, and all of you who I am privileged to help in their Pinescripting journey.

Custom FIBOThis script shows 3 Donchian Channel 78.6% and 21.4% intermediary level lines to perform trade analysis. Besides those 6 lines it also optionally shows Fibonacci's retracements with 100%, 127%, 162%, 200% and 262% for one of the Donchian channels.
The 3 Donchian Channels used have default lengths 72, 305 and 1292, calculated after the first length default value of 72. For each of the 3 Donchian Channels only an upper line, set by default at 78.6%, is plotted in green and its complement, set to 21.4%, is plotted in red. When the closing price is above 3 green lines, we say it is Forbidden to Sell ( PV ), and when the closing price is below 3 red lines, we say it is Forbidden to Buy ( PC ). Those conditions are flagged on the chart. These PV-PC conditions were, up to my knowledge, first proposed by Bo Williams.
Fibonacci's retracements are show for the Donchian Channel with length 72 by default, but it can be changed to any length. They are colored as fuchsia (100%), blue (127%), orange (162%), yellow (200%) and navy (262%).
Nubia - Auto Midas Anchored VWAP [xdecow]This indicator looks for the highs and lows using the highest / lowest of 4 different periods. The default values are 17, 72, 305 and 1292 inspired by BO Williams phicube fractals.
The indicator will show anchored vwaps from those 8 dynamic points (4 tops and 4 bottoms).
A true trend is defined when 4 fractals line up without much opposite resistance (only the two smallest opposing vwaps).
When the price is between several vwaps it is a sign of consolidation or pullback. You can use larger timeframes to check for possible targets in large consolidations and pullbacks.
Custom EMA PrismThis script implements the Binary Logic Trading (BLT) algorithm to calculate a score from 0 to 7. This score is calculated assigning a power of 2 weight to the positive sign of 3 Phi^3 distant EMAs' slopes. The largest EMA slope positive sign receives weight 4, the middle length EMA slope positive sign receives weight 2 and the shortest EMA slope positive sign receives weight 1. The positive sign of an EMA is defined as 1 if the slope of the EMA is positive and 0, otherwise. Therefore, for EMAs 305, 72 and 17, if slope(EMA305) > 0, slope(EMA72) < 0 and slope(EMA17) > 0, then score will be 4*1 + 2*0 + 1*1 = 5. Up to my knowledge, this score was first proposed by Bo Williams and named by him as Prisma.
Due too sampling issues, this script ONLY WORKS with graphic time of 1d. I would like to thanks to MrBitmanBob for showing me how to get quotations from a graphic time distinct from the current one.
This script also gets sampling data from graphic times 2h and 30m to calculate their score. As, even for smaller graphic times, price data is sampled at the current time frequency, the EMA lengths for those smaller graphic times needed to be proportionally decreased, meaning that when calculating the score for 1d with lengths 305, 72 and 17, the score for 2h must be calculated with lengths 72, 17 and 4, and the score for 30m must be calculated with lengths 17, 4 an 1. I understand that some precision may be lost but it is the best that is possible.
There is an optional setting for Crypto Currencies that instead of calculating the score for 1d, 2h and 30m, it calculates the score for 1d, 4h and 60m. This is due to the fact that Crypto Currencies are traded 24x7. Despite of this setting, the labels at the Style tab of the settings window remains 2h and 30m, because they must be constants.
This script with the corresponding EMAs chart and the EMAs Angle chart provides a broader view of the trading scenario.
Custom EMA AngleThis script shows the angle of 6 EMAs to perform trade analysis. The EMA angle is also known as its Rate Of Change ( ROC ). The 6 EMAs (I, II, III , IV, V and VI ) default lengthes come from one of the Fibonacci Phi^3 and Phi^3/2 sub series (17, 34, 72, 144, 305 and 610), but can be changed to any values, particularly to the traditionally used 20, 40, 50, 100, 200 and 300. Up to my knowledge, Fibonacci Phi^3 and Phi^3/2 sub series lengthes were first proposed by Bo Williams.
Angle calculation is performed by calculating the tangent over a delta interval. Normalization is required to make the angle independent of the price range.
This script is meant to be used together with the corresponding EMAs on the candle pane. Non normalized view shows a more realistic angle condition but, if intended to be used with the CEMAS indicator, normalized view should be used.
Custom EMA StrategyThis script combines 3 EMAs with Bollinger Bands to build a trend based trading strategy. The 3 EMAs (I, II and III ) default lengthes come from one of the Fibonacci Phi^3/2 sub series (17, 72 and 305), but can be changed to any values, particularly to the traditionally used 20, 50 and 200. Bollinger Band length is set to the same length as EMA I. Up to my knowledge, Fibonacci Phi^3/2 sub series lengthes were first proposed by Bo Williams.
Buy Recommendations happen when src (close) > EMA I > EMA II, EMA I angle > 0 degree, EMA II angle > -1 degree and EMA III angle > -1 degree. My simulations have show that -1 degree usage results in better returns than zero degree.
Top Buy Recommendations happen when, besides Buy recommendation conditions are met, src (close) > HBand, the Bollinger Band High Band.
Sell Recommendations come in 3 flavors: Short Term (close < EMA I), Medium Term (close < EMA2) and Long Term ( EMA I < EMA II).
Angle calculation is performed by calculating the "normalized" tangent over a delta interval. Normalization is required to make the angle independent of the price range.
Trade System Crypto InvestidorTrade System created to facilitate the visualization of crossing and extensions of the movements with Bollinger bands.
Composed by:
Moving Averages of 21, 50, 100 and 200.
Exponential Moving Averages: 17,34,72,144, 200 and 610.
Bollinger bands with standard deviation 2 and 3.
How it works?
The indicators work together, however there are some important cross-averages that need to be identified.
- Crossing the MA21 with 50, 100 and 200 up or down will dictate an up or down trend.
- MA200 and EMA200 are excellent indicators of resistance and support zone, if the price is above these averages it will be a great support, if the price is below these averages it will indicate strong resistance.
- Another important crossover refers to exponential moving averages of 17 to 72 indicates a possible start of a trend
- The crossing of the exponential moving average of 34 with 144 will confirm the crossing mentioned above.
- In addition, the exponential moving average of 610 used by Bo Williams is an excellent reference for dictating an upward or downward trend, if the price is above it it will possibly confirm an upward trend and the downside.
- To conclude we have bollinger bands with standard deviation 2 and 3, they help to identify the maximum movements.

3 Moving Average ExponentialSince I noticed there was no Script with actually 3 EMA together (all the ones I found said it was Exponential, but actually was Simple), i created this one.
The lengths, 17 72 305, are based on the phi cube theory, introduced by Bo Williams. The slow length (305) indicate a likely strong support/resistance and the region between the fast and medium lengths (17, 72) indicate where the price tends to return after a boost or little diversion from the price average.
