[JR] Multi Bollinger Heat Bands - EMA/Breakout optionsA little, yet hopefully useful update over my previous "Multi Bollinger Heat Bands". For those who like quick visual cue's.
In short: It's your Basic Bollinger Bands, but 3 of them, and some pointy things.
In full:
Three stacked SMA based Bollinger Bands designed just to give you a quick visual on the "heat" of movement.
Set inner band as you would expect, then set your preferred additional multiplier increments for the outer 2 bands.
Option to use EMA as alternative basis, rather than SMA.
Breakout indication shapes, which have their own multiplier (but still tied to same length/period as the BB's) so you can make them pop on their own separate "band".

[-_-] Level Breakout, Auto Backtesting StrategyDescription:
A Long only strategy based on breakout from a certain level formed by High price. It has auto-backtesting capabilities (you set ranges for the three main parameters: Lookback, TP and SL; the strategy then goes through different combinations of those parameters and displays a table with results that you can sort by Percentage of profitable trades AND/OR Net profit AND/OR Number of trades). So you can, for example, sort only by Net profit to find combination of parameters that gives highest net profit, or sort by Net profit and Percentage profitable to find a combination of parameters that gives the best balance between profitability and profit. The auto-backtesting also takes into account the commission which is set in % in the inputs (make sure to set the same value in properties of the strategy so that auto-backtesting and real backtesting results match).
NOTE: auto-backtesting only find the best combinations and displays them in a table, you will then need to manually set the Lookback, TP and SL inputs for real backtesting to match.
Parameters:
- Lookback -> # of bars for filtering signals; recommended range from 2 to 5
- TP (%) -> take profit; recommended range from 5 to 10
- SL (%) -> stop loss; recommended range from 1 to 5
- Commission (%) -> commission per trade
- Min/Max Lookback -> lookback range for auto-backtesting
- Min/Max TP -> take profit range for auto-backtesting
- Min/Max SL -> stop loss range for auto-backtesting
- Percentage profitable -> sort by percentage of profitable trades
- Net profit -> sort by net profit
- Number of trades -> sort by number of trades

Pivot Point BreakoutThis is a strategy taken from Perry Kaufman's book, Trading Systems and Methods.
Just like the title says, it's a breakout strategy. It works by buying when the current high is higher than the last pivot high, and selling when the low is lower than the last pivot low.
It does not have a good success probability, and relies on the good reward to risk ratio. Definitely not recommended for someone with weak hands.
Breakout in 20 daysbreakout condition
1. current close price must be higher than all close prices in 20 days
2. close prices change in 20 days must be less than 20%
3. current volume must be greater than previous volume by 10%
ブレイクアウト条件
1. 最新の終値が直近20日のすべての終値より高い
2. 直近X日の終値の変動率が20%以下
3. 最新の出来高が前日の出来高より10%大きい

Description:
This script generates a long entry signal when the Standard Deviation crosses over the Simple Moving Average and the Close is greater than the Open, and/or generates a short entry signal when the Standard Deviation crosses under the Simple Moving Average and the Close is less than the Open.
True Range Breakout [racer8]TRB (True Range Breakout) plots the current TR (true range) as well as the previous TR high over n periods. If the current TR is greater than the previous TR high, then the TR histogram will become red. Red signals high volatility. Enter trades only when the histogram is above the TR high line. Happy trading! 🥳
G-Bollinger bands volatility breakout v.1This is my frist publish scrpit. I developed this indicator origin is BB. It make from easy idea but powerful for sideway to breakout
1. I findout volatility by upper band of BB - lower band of BB (I called "Aline")
2. I created SMA of Aline (I called Bline)
3. I created the special line is "Cline" from Aline - Bline
4. I created 0 line " Baseline "
G-BBvB is the very good indicator to detect low volatility to begin the volatility = Buy signal
Now I can't find the sell signal form indicator. I try backtest sell at Cline cross zeroline but it not work.
I'll develop "G" indicator for free .
Goodluck :D
Bollinger Bands Breakout StrategyBollinger Bands Breakout Strategy is the strategy version of Bollinger Bands Filter study version, which can be found under my scripts page. The strategy goes long when price closes above the upper band and goes short signal when price closes below the lower band.
Bollinger Bands is a classic indicator that uses a simple moving average of 20 periods, along with plots of upper and lower bands that are 2 standard deviations away from the basis line. These bands help visualize price volatility and trend based on where the price is, in relation to the bands.
The strategy doesn't take into account any other parameters such as Volume / RSI / Fundamentals etc, so user must use discretion based on confirmations from another indicator or based on fundamentals. The strategy results are based on purely long and short trades and doesn't take into account any user defined targets or stop losses.
The strategy works great when the price closes above/below upper/lower bands with continuation on next bar. It is definitely useful to have this strategy or the Bollinger Bands filter along with other indicators to get early glimpse of breach/fail of bands on candle close during BB squeeze or based on volatility .
This can be used on Heikin Ashi candles for spotting trends, but HA candles are not recommended for trade entries as they don't reflect true price of the asset.
The strategy settings default is 55 SMA and 1 standard deviation for Bollinger Bands filter, but these can be changed from settings.
It is definitely worth reading the 22 rules of Bollinger Bands written by John Bollinger if interested in trading Bollinger Bands successfully.

HV ID/ND4 BreakoutThis indicator is based on Linda Raschke's ID/ND4 Historical Volatility Breakout strategy. It finds days where the high and low are within the previous day high and lows (Inside days), that have also, the narrowest trading range within the last 4 days (it basically checks if the current day has the narrowest range comparing it with the previous 3 days) when the short term historical volatility (6 period default) is relatively low compared to the longer term historical volatility (100 period default) (The condition is that the 6/100 Historical volatility is below 50% of its annual range).
More information about how to trade this strategy is described in the book but basically, you would want to place a resting buy and sell stops at the high and low of the day highlighted and enter if you get filled the next day.
Fractal Breakout V2Version 2 of my fractal pattern aid ( Version 1 ).
I added a bouncing line between the high and low trend lines, connecting consecutive extreme points. I also chased down a pesky bug in the slope calculation...and for now I have disabled the ability to change resolution basis for extreme detection (e.g. 30m on a 1hr chart).
For fun, I added some shading to make it more apparent at a glance what is happening, but if you find it gimmicky, there's an option to turn that off.
I am inexperienced with pattern recognition, so please send feedback if you have any ideas that would make this more useful.
Thanks!
Lemrin
