How It Works:
CME Gaps: The script identifies gaps between CME and chart prices when the CME session is closed. It plots these gaps with customizable colors and line widths.
You can choose to see gaps based on CME prices or chart prices and decide whether to include only weekends.
Weekend Backgrounds: The script allows for background highlighting of weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on your chart. This can be enabled or disabled and customized with specific colors.
The timezone setting ensures that the background highlights match your local time settings.

CE_ZLSMA_5MIN_CANDLECHART-- Overview
The "CE_ZLSMA_5MIN_CANDLECHART" strategy, developed by DailyPanda, is a comprehensive trading strategy designed for analyzing trading on 5-minute candlestick charts.
It aims to use some indicators calculated from a Hekin Ashi chart, while running it on a normal candlestick chart, making sure that no price distortion affects the strategy results .
It also brings a feature to show, on the candlestick chart, where the entries would take place on the HA chart, to also be able to study the effect that the price distortion would make on your backtest.

Buy signals are generated when the price closes above the ZLSMA together with the CE signal.
It is calculated based on the HA candlestick pattern.

Moving Averages
Several moving averages (EMA 9, EMA 20, EMA 50, EMA 72, EMA 200, SMA 200, and SMA 500) are plotted to provide additional context and trend confirmation.
A "Zone of Value" is highlighted between the EMA 200 and SMA 200 to identify potential support and resistance areas.

-- Setting Up the Strategy
Configure the start year for the strategy and the trading hours using the input fields. The first candle of each day will be filled black for easy identification, while candles that are outside the allowed time range will be filled purple.
Customize the risk management parameters to match your risk tolerance and trading style.
Enable or disable the display of Heikin Ashi candlesticks and moving averages as desired.

Buy signals are indicated by a "Buy" label when the Heikin Ashi close price is above the ZLSMA and the Chandelier Exit indicates a long position.
The strategy will automatically enter a long position with a stop-loss level determined the swing low.
Positions are closed when the close price falls below the ZLSMA.

The strategy monitors the maximum intraday loss and stops trading if the loss limit is reached.
If enabled, also stops trading once the daily profit target is achieved, helping to lock in gains.
You have the option to filter operations based on a maximum accepted stop-loss level, based on your risk tolerance.
You can also operate with a fixed amount of contracts or dynamically adjust it based on your allowed risk per trade, ensuring optimal protection of capital.

Description:
The Percentage Grid indicator is designed to assist traders in identifying significant support and resistance levels based on yearly percentage changes. This indicator plots horizontal lines on the chart from the start of the year, allowing you to customize how much percentage each line represents. Currently, you can set up to 5 horizontal lines, each representing a different percentage change from the beginning of the year.
For instance, when applied to the SBI Bank stock, you can customize the lines to display various percentage changes from the start of the year, such as 20%, 25%, and up to 35%, as the SBIN stock is currently trading around these levels. This visualization helps traders to easily identify key levels where price action tends to react, providing valuable insights for making trading decisions.
Principles of Trading Technical Analysis:
The Percentage Grid indicator is grounded in the principle of support and resistance levels, which are fundamental concepts in technical analysis. These levels are specific price points on a chart that tend to act as barriers, preventing the price from getting pushed in a certain direction. The indicator helps in:
Identifying Support Levels: Price levels where a downtrend can be expected to pause due to a concentration of buying interest.
Identifying Resistance Levels: Price levels where an uptrend can be expected to pause due to a concentration of selling interest.
By customizing and plotting percentage-based horizontal lines, the indicator highlights these critical levels based on the percentage change from the start of the year.
How to Use:
Add the Indicator to Your Chart:
Search for "Percentage Grid" in the TradingView indicator library and add it to your chart.
Customize Percentage Levels:
Access the indicator settings to customize the percentage change each line represents.
You can set up to 5 different percentage levels. For example, you can set lines at 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, and 40%.
Interpret the Grid Lines:
The plotted lines will represent the specified percentage changes from the start of the year.

Technical analysis: This indicator facilitates a comparison between the price movements shown on the Binance spot chart and the Bybit perpetual chart, with the aim of discerning the correlation between the two charts and identifying the dominant market trends. It automatically generates the corresponding chart based on the ticker selected in the primary chart. When a Binance pair is selected in the main chart, the indicator replicates the Bybit perpetual chart for the same pair and timeframe, and vice versa, selecting the Bybit perpetual chart as the primary chart generates the Binance spot chart.
Suggested use: You can utilize this tool to conduct altcoin trading on Binance or Bybit, facilitating the comparison of price actions and real-time monitoring of trigger point sensitivity across both exchanges. We recommend prioritizing the Binance Spot chart in the main panel due to its typically longer historical data availability compared to Bybit.

This Renko boxes are linked to chart by time(candle) and price. It will draw a box even if price didn't close above(or below) of box level:
But be careful when setting box size too small because it will produce bad results:
The issue is known and I'll work on fixing it in next update, for now use box size at least the size of a body of a candle, after all renko is for general market movement and not for marking up every tick.

The indicator enhances traders' understanding of the consecutive candle patterns, helping them to uncover trends and momentum. Consecutive candles in the same direction may indicate a strong trend. The Candles In Row indicator can be an essential tool for traders employing a multiple timeframes strategy.
Analyzing a Higher Timeframe:
Understanding Momentum: By analyzing consecutive green or red candles in a higher timeframe, traders can identify the prevailing momentum in the market. A series of green candles would suggest an upward trend, while a series of red candles would indicate a downward trend.
Predicting Next Candle: The indicator's predictive feature calculates the likelihood of the next candle being green or red based on historical patterns. This probability helps traders gauge the potential continuation of the trend.

Precision Trader Indicator, v1.01Overview:
The PTI is a custom indicator designed to provide buy and sell signals based on price movements and volatility. It uses the Average True Range (ATR) to calculate stop levels and identifies potential trend changes.
Parameters:
The indicator has several customizable parameters that you can adjust according to your preferences. These parameters include:
- ATR Period (length): Determines the lookback period for calculating the ATR.
- ATR Multiplier (mult): Specifies the multiplier applied to the ATR to determine the stop levels.
- Show Buy/Sell Labels (showLabels): Allows you to choose whether to display buy/sell labels on the chart.
- Use Close Price for Extremums (useClose): Determines whether the indicator considers the close price for calculating extremums.
- Highlight State (highlightState): Enables highlighting of the long and short state on the chart.
Calculation:
1. ATR Calculation: The indicator calculates the Average True Range (ATR) using the specified length parameter and multiplies it by the ATR Multiplier (mult) to obtain the ATR value.
2. Long Stop Calculation: The long stop level is calculated based on the highest price over the specified length period (using either the high or close price, depending on the useClose parameter) minus the ATR value. It ensures that the long stop is below the recent highest point.
3. Short Stop Calculation: The short stop level is calculated based on the lowest price over the specified length period (using either the low or close price) plus the ATR value. It ensures that the short stop is above the recent lowest point.
4. Direction Calculation: The indicator determines the current direction based on the close price compared to the previous long stop and short stop levels. If the close price is above the previous long stop, the direction is set to 1 (indicating a bullish trend). If the close price is below the previous short stop, the direction is set to -1 (indicating a bearish trend). Otherwise, the direction remains unchanged.
Plotting:
The indicator plots several visual elements on the chart:
- Long Stop: Draws a line representing the long stop level.
- Long Stop Start: Plots a small circle marker indicating the start of a long stop (buy signal).

CVD - Cumulative Volume Delta (Chart)█ OVERVIEW
This indicator displays cumulative volume delta (CVD) as an on-chart oscillator. It uses intrabar analysis to obtain more precise volume delta information compared to methods that only use the chart's timeframe.
The core concepts in this script come from our first CVD indicator , which displays CVD values as plot candles in a separate indicator pane. In this script, CVD values are scaled according to price ranges and represented on the main chart pane.
█ CONCEPTS
Bar polarity
Bar polarity refers to the position of the close price relative to the open price. In other words, bar polarity is the direction of price change.
Intrabars
Intrabars are chart bars at a lower timeframe than the chart's. Each 1H chart bar of a 24x7 market will, for example, usually contain 60 bars at the lower timeframe of 1min, provided there was market activity during each minute of the hour. Mining information from intrabars can be useful in that it offers traders visibility on the activity inside a chart bar.
Lower timeframes (LTFs)
A lower timeframe is a timeframe that is smaller than the chart's timeframe. This script utilizes a LTF to analyze intrabars, or price changes within a chart bar. The lower the LTF, the more intrabars are analyzed, but the less chart bars can display information due to the limited number of intrabars that can be analyzed.
Volume delta
Volume delta is a measure that separates volume into "up" and "down" parts, then takes the difference to estimate the net demand for the asset. This approach gives traders a more detailed insight when analyzing volume and market sentiment. There are several methods for determining whether an asset's volume belongs in the "up" or "down" category. Some indicators, such as On Balance Volume and the Klinger Oscillator , use the change in price between bars to assign volume values to the appropriate category. Others, such as Chaikin Money Flow , make assumptions based on open, high, low, and close prices. The most accurate method involves using tick data to determine whether each transaction occurred at the bid or ask price and assigning the volume value to the appropriate category accordingly. However, this method requires a large amount of data on historical bars, which can limit the historical depth of charts and the number of symbols for which tick data is available.
In the context where historical tick data is not yet available on TradingView, intrabar analysis is the most precise technique to calculate volume delta on historical bars on our charts. This indicator uses intrabar analysis to achieve a compromise between simplicity and accuracy in calculating volume delta on historical bars. Our Volume Profile indicators use it as well. Other volume delta indicators in our Community Scripts , such as the Realtime 5D Profile , use real-time chart updates to achieve more precise volume delta calculations. However, these indicators aren't suitable for analyzing historical bars since they only work for real-time analysis.
This is the logic we use to assign intrabar volume to the "up" or "down" category:
• If the intrabar's open and close values are different, their relative position is used.
• If the intrabar's open and close values are the same, the difference between the intrabar's close and the previous intrabar's close is used.
• As a last resort, when there is no movement during an intrabar and it closes at the same price as the previous intrabar, the last known polarity is used.
Once all intrabars comprising a chart bar are analyzed, we calculate the net difference between "up" and "down" intrabar volume to produce the volume delta for the chart bar.
█ FEATURES
CVD resets
The "cumulative" part of the indicator's name stems from the fact that calculations accumulate during a period of time. By periodically resetting the volume delta accumulation, we can analyze the progression of volume delta across manageable chunks, which is often more useful than looking at volume delta accumulated from the beginning of a chart's history.
You can configure the reset period using the "CVD Resets" input, which offers the following selections:
• None : Calculations do not reset.
• On a fixed higher timeframe : Calculations reset on the higher timeframe you select in the "Fixed higher timeframe" field.
• At a fixed time that you specify.
• At the beginning of the regular session .
• On trend changes : Calculations reset on the direction change of either the Aroon indicator, Parabolic SAR , or Supertrend .
• On a stepped higher timeframe : Calculations reset on a higher timeframe automatically stepped using the chart's timeframe and following these rules:

Specifying intrabar precision
Ten options are included in the script to control the number of intrabars used per chart bar for calculations. The greater the number of intrabars per chart bar, the fewer chart bars can be analyzed.
The first five options allow users to specify the approximate amount of chart bars to be covered:
• Least Precise (Most chart bars) : Covers all chart bars by dividing the current timeframe by four.
This ensures the highest level of intrabar precision while achieving complete coverage for the dataset.
• Less Precise (Some chart bars) & More Precise (Less chart bars) : These options calculate a stepped LTF in relation to the current chart's timeframe.
• Very precise (2min intrabars) : Uses the second highest quantity of intrabars possible with the 2min LTF.
• Most precise (1min intrabars) : Uses the maximum quantity of intrabars possible with the 1min LTF.
The stepped lower timeframe for "Less Precise" and "More Precise" options is calculated from the current chart's timeframe as follows:

The last five options allow users to specify an approximate fixed number of intrabars to analyze per chart bar. The available choices are 12, 24, 50, 100, and 250. The script will calculate the LTF which most closely approximates the specified number of intrabars per chart bar. Keep in mind that due to factors such as the length of a ticker's sessions and rounding of the LTF, it is not always possible to produce the exact number specified. However, the script will do its best to get as close to the value as possible.
As there is a limit to the number of intrabars that can be analyzed by a script, a tradeoff occurs between the number of intrabars analyzed per chart bar and the chart bars for which calculations are possible.
Display
This script displays raw or cumulative volume delta values on the chart as either line or histogram oscillator zones scaled according to the price chart, allowing traders to visualize volume activity on each bar or cumulatively over time. The indicator's background shows where CVD resets occur, demarcating the beginning of new zones. The vertical axis of each oscillator zone is scaled relative to the one with the highest price range, and the oscillator values are scaled relative to the highest volume delta. A vertical offset is applied to each oscillator zone so that the highest oscillator value aligns with the lowest price. This method ensures an accurate, intuitive visual comparison of volume activity within zones, as the scale is consistent across the chart, and oscillator values sit below prices. The vertical scale of oscillator zones can be adjusted using the "Zone Height" input in the script settings.
This script displays labels at the highest and lowest oscillator values in each zone, which can be enabled using the "Hi/Lo Labels" input in the "Visuals" section of the script settings. Additionally, the oscillator's value on a chart bar is displayed as a tooltip when a user hovers over the bar, which can be enabled using the "Value Tooltips" input.
Divergences occur when the polarity of volume delta does not match that of the chart bar. The script displays divergences as bar colors and background colors that can be enabled using the "Color bars on divergences" and "Color background on divergences" inputs.
An information box in the lower-left corner of the indicator displays the HTF used for resets, the LTF used for intrabars, the average quantity of intrabars per chart bar, and the number of chart bars for which there is LTF data. This is enabled using the "Show information box" input in the "Visuals" section of the script settings.

• This script utilizes `ltf()` and `ltfStats()` from the lower_tf library.
The `ltf()` function determines the appropriate lower timeframe from the selected calculation mode and chart timeframe, and returns it in a format that can be used with request.security_lower_tf() .
The `ltfStats()` function, on the other hand, is used to compute and display statistical information about the lower timeframe in an information box.
• The script utilizes display.data_window and display.status_line to restrict the display of certain plots.
These new built-ins allow coders to fine-tune where a script’s plot values are displayed.
• The newly added session.isfirstbar_regular built-in allows for resetting the CVD segments at the start of the regular session.

This is Tick Chart RSI script and it calculates & shows RSI for Tick Chart. What is Tick chart? Tick Chart is created using ticks and each candlestick in Tick Chart shows the price variation of X consecutive ticks (X : Number of Ticks Per Candle). For example if you set "Number of Ticks Per Candle" = 100 then each candlestick is created using 100 ticks. so, Tick Charts are NOT time-based charts (like Renko or Point & Figure Charts). Tick is the price change in minimum time interval defined in the platform. There are several advantages of Tick Charts. You can find many articles about Tick Charts on the net.
Tick Chart and Tick Chart RSI only work on realtime bars.
You can set " Number of Ticks Per Candle " and the colors. You can also set any of the candles OHLC values as source for RSI.
While using Tick Chart RSI I recommend you to add Tick Chart as well.

**What kind of indicator is this?**
This indicator allows you to display Moving Averages (MAs) from multiple timeframes (MTF) on your chart. It's convenient when you want to see MAs from higher timeframes alongside your current chart timeframe.
**Key Features of this Indicator:**
With traditional MTF Moving Average indicators, when you displayed multiple lines, it was often hard to remember "Which timeframe and period does this line represent?" and you had to open the parameters each time to check.
The biggest feature of this indicator is that it solves this problem!
It **automatically displays text labels at the end of each displayed Moving Average line**, indicating which timeframe and period that line corresponds to.
* Example: "240 SMA(20)" (Meaning: 4-hour chart's 20-period Moving Average)
* Example: "1D EMA(50)" (Meaning: Daily chart's 50-period Exponential Moving Average)
This makes it clear at a glance what settings each line uses, even when you display multiple MTF Moving Averages. You can analyze your charts more intuitively without getting confused. I believe this is a simple yet very convenient feature.
**How to Use:**
In the parameter settings, you can freely customize the timeframe, period, type of Moving Average (SMA, EMA, etc.), line color, thickness, and more. Please set it up to suit your trading style.

2. Session-Specific First FVG Option: A unique feature allows traders to display only the first FVG in ICT-defined AM (9:30–10:00 AM EST) or PM (1:30–2:00 PM EST) sessions, reflecting ICT’s focus on initial market imbalances during key liquidity events.

ICT-Driven Mitigation and Inversion Logic: The script tracks FVG mitigation (when price closes through a gap) and converts mitigated FVGs into iFVGs, which serve as ICT-style support/resistance zones. How It Works
FVG Detection
FVGs are identified when a candle’s low is higher than the high of two candles prior (bullish FVG) or a candle’s high is lower than the low of two candles prior (bearish FVG). Detection is restricted to:
• User-selected 10-minute windows (e.g., :00–:10, :50–:60) to capture ICT-relevant periods like hourly transitions.
• AM/PM session first FVGs (if enabled), focusing on 9:30–10:00 AM or 1:30–2:00 PM EST for key market opens.
An optional ATR filter (default: 0.25× ATR) ensures only gaps larger than the threshold are displayed, prioritizing significant imbalances.
Mitigation and Inversion
When price closes through an FVG (e.g., below a bullish FVG’s bottom), the FVG is mitigated and becomes an iFVG, plotted as a support/resistance zone. iFVGs are critical in ICT for identifying reversal points where institutional orders accumulate.
Retest Signals
The script generates signals when price retests an iFVG:
• Close: Triggers when the candle body confirms the retest (conservative, lower noise).
• Wick: Triggers when the candle’s high/low touches the iFVG (faster, higher sensitivity). Signals are visualized with triangular markers (▲ for bullish, ▼ for bearish) and can trigger alerts.

Trading Strategy

Aroon Buy & Sell (5m Trend, 100% Signal on 1m)Purpose of the Script:
This Pine Script creates a buy and sell signal system that:
Tracks trend direction on the 5-minute (5m) chart using Aroon indicators.
Generates buy and sell signals on the 1-minute (1m) chart based on the 5-minute trend and when Aroon Up/Down reaches 100%.
Components of the Script:
1. Aroon Calculation Function (f_aroon):
This function calculates the Aroon Up and Aroon Down values based on the high and low of the last 14 bars:
Aroon Up: Measures how recently the highest high occurred over the last 14 bars.
Aroon Down: Measures how recently the lowest low occurred over the last 14 bars.
Both values are expressed as a percentage:
Aroon Up is calculated by 100 * (14 - barssince(high == highest(high, 14))) / 14
Aroon Down is calculated by 100 * (14 - barssince(low == lowest(low, 14))) / 14
2. Getting Aroon Values for 5m and 1m:
aroonUp_5m, aroonDown_5m: These are the Aroon values calculated from the 5-minute chart (Aroon Up and Aroon Down).
aroonUp_1m, aroonDown_1m: These are the Aroon values calculated for the 1-minute chart, on which we will plot the signals.
3. Trend Detection (5-minute):
Bullish trend: When the Aroon Up crosses above the Aroon Down on the 5-minute chart, indicating a potential upward movement (uptrend).
Bearish trend: When the Aroon Down crosses above the Aroon Up on the 5-minute chart, indicating a potential downward movement (downtrend).
These are detected using ta.crossover() functions:
bullishCross_5m: Detects when Aroon Up crosses above Aroon Down.
bearishCross_5m: Detects when Aroon Down crosses above Aroon Up.
We then track these crossovers using two variables:
inBullishTrend_5m: This is set to true when we are in a bullish trend (Aroon Up crosses above Aroon Down on 5m).
inBearishTrend_5m: This is set to true when we are in a bearish trend (Aroon Down crosses above Aroon Up on 5m).
4. Cooldown Logic:
This prevents the signals from repeating too frequently:
buyCooldown: Ensures that a buy signal is only generated every 20 bars (approx. every 100 minutes).
sellCooldown: Ensures that a sell signal is only generated every 20 bars (approx. every 100 minutes).
We use:
buyCooldown := math.max(buyCooldown - 1, 0) and sellCooldown := math.max(sellCooldown - 1, 0) to decrease the cooldown over time.
5. Buy/Sell Signal Logic:
Buy signal: A buy signal is generated when:
The 5-minute trend is bullish (Aroon Up > Aroon Down on 5m).
Aroon Down on the 1-minute chart reaches 100% (indicating an extreme oversold condition in the context of the current bullish trend).
The signal is only generated if the cooldown (buyCooldown == 0) allows it.
Sell signal: A sell signal is generated when:
The 5-minute trend is bearish (Aroon Down > Aroon Up on 5m).
Aroon Up on the 1-minute chart reaches 100% (indicating an extreme overbought condition in the context of the current bearish trend).
The signal is only generated if the cooldown (sellCooldown == 0) allows it.
6. Plotting the Signals:
Plot Buy Signals: When a buy signal is triggered, a green "BUY" label is plotted below the bar.
Plot Sell Signals: When a sell signal is triggered, a red "SELL" label is plotted above the bar.
The signal conditions are drawn on the 1-minute chart but rely on the trend from the 5-minute chart.
7. Alert Conditions:
Alert for Buy signal: An alert is triggered when the buy signal condition is met.
Alert for Sell signal: An alert is triggered when the sell signal condition is met.
How It Works:
Trend Tracking (5m): The script looks for the trend on the 5-minute chart (bullish or bearish based on Aroon Up/Down crossover).
Signal Generation (1m): The script then checks the 1-minute chart for an Aroon value of 100% (for either Aroon Up or Aroon Down).
Signals: Based on the trend, if the conditions are met, the script plots buy/sell signals and sends an alert.
Key Points:
5-minute trend: The script determines the market trend on the 5-minute chart.
1-minute signal: Signals are plotted on the 1-minute chart based on Aroon values reaching 100%.
Cooldown: Prevents signals from repeating too frequently.
Jedi Momentum & Reversal Scalp IndicatorQuick Breakdown:
This scalping strategy was designed to take advantage of price movements throughout the regular trading session in NQ futures on the 1min chart. I developed this to help hunt for trend setups and reversals. This strategy or indicator is applicable to any high liquidity market, and works best on the 1min or 2min charts. 3min and 5min chart will give fewer signals.
Markets are unpredictable and the NQ can be especially volatile. Recognizing that a market is in a state of chop or extreme volatility is important as a trader. This script will give false signals when the market is in a state of chop or extreme volatility. Avoid opens that do not have a clear directional move. Avoid low volume or slower periods of the regular trading session. Due to low volume and usually a tighter range, this script will most likely not work well during the overnight session. However, if patient, this indicator can help you find 1-3 A+ Setups during the RTH session.
This indicator uses the 9, 20, and 50 simple moving averages. (custom SMA's)
I take into consideration other indicators and key levels, then look for confluence with this strategy when hunting for setups.
Long and Shorts are inverted for this strategy.
Conditions and Considerations:
- Setup Signal 1: 9 crosses 20. This is an early warning signal that momentum or sentiment in the market could be changing and starting to move in the direction of the cross. During consolidation or high volatility, Setup 1 will give false signals. A strong Setup Signal 1, usually happens after a period of consolidation.
- Setup Signal 2: 9 crosses 50. This is the main signal that a long or short setup has begun. The background will change color to highlight a long or short setup and you will only see long Enter signals if the Setup is long. Setup 2 gives less false signals.
- Entry Signal 1: 20 crosses 50. You won't be able to enter at the cross level, but if the momentum is healthy, then entering with the next candle could be a good entry level. However, sometimes price moves in the direction of the Setup before the cross, so you may want to enter just before if structure is favorable. Furthermore, you may want to have a stop that goes just outside of the 9/50 cross, since immediately pulling back to that level would not be healthy for the setup.
**Note: Conditions for Entry Signals 2-4; are when price has pulled away from the moving averages and they are in order above or below price, then as price pulls back to the 9, 20, and 50 a long signal is created when the low of a candle gets close (custom buffers) to one of the moving averages. A short signal is created when the high of a candle gets close to one of the moving averages.
- Entry Signal 2: Pullback to 9 (custom buffer). Early in a healthy setup the first pullback is usually the smallest and can happen quickly and also more than once.
- Entry Signal 3: Pullback to 20 (custom buffer). Midway into or later in a setup price will pullback towards the 20. This is sometimes an early exhaustion sign. Pullbacks to the 20 are usually fewer than pullbacks to the 9. Sometimes the 9 and 20 begin to entwine before continuation. If this happens take note of the angle on the 50, if there is still a decent angle supporting the direction of the setup, then the setup is still valid.
- Entry Signal 4: Pullback to 50 (custom buffer). This is sometimes an exhaustion signal and should be traded with caution and a tight stop. If the 50 is broken early in a Setup, then the momentum is not strong in the direction of the Setup, and you should avoid that trade. If later in the Setup the 50 is broken in a flush, but only by a few points, then wait and see if price rebounds in direction of Setup. If later in the Setup the 50 is broken by more than 25pts, then the Setup is not valid anymore.
- Exit Signal: 9 cross the 50. When the 9 crosses the 50 in the opposite direction as the previous Setup, then that Setup is over.
*Note: Context Matters! High volatility and chop can give false signals. Don’t trade every Setup. Market should make a clear opening drive and/or breakout of a key level or consolidation zone. Don’t try to use Entry signals in the middle of a consolidation zone, a day of high volatility, or during a news release (CPI, NFP, FOMC, etc.). Confluence with other indicators (like CDV candles pullback to CDV moving averages the same as price pullbacks to an Entry Signal, or RSI divergence after price made an exhaustion move off an Entry Signal, etc.) and key levels (like previous day’s OHLC, POC, VAH, VAL, etc.)
Momentum:
- 45* angle on moving averages can help identify strong momentum
- RSI/MACD should be in confluent zones as Setup (if long RSI should be above zero)
- Pullbacks always require patience=identify failure levels (15m/30m candle high/lows, OHLC, POC, VAH, VAL, etc.)
- RSI hidden divergence=strong momentum
- If strong momentum, then RSI divergence can give false signals
Reversal:
- Don’t try to fade strong momentum. Best to wait until Key Levels are reached.
- 3+ “pushes” with RSI divergence=early reversal signal, but don’t enter before Signal 2
- If Initial Balance is extremely wide, take caution holding onto reversal Setups. Price could snap back as the market revisits key levels
- Remember; a reversal is a pullback, but not all pullbacks are reversals
Risk Management:
- Depending on volatility, I trade with a 1:1 or 2:1 profit:loss bracket. My stops are usually set at 25pts
- I always leave a runner at key levels or outside range
- When main target is hit=all stops move to inside break even
- Typically trail stops behind the 50
- Setups should move quickly=if price stalls and pulls away from break even, exit trade before full stop is hit
