vdubsoxI've been asking for this concept for a while, a simple MA that rides the top side of the trend instead of the bottom, and by accident came across the 'Hull ma' on a TV blog post. I've added another two simple Moving averages to act as strength indicator with close proximity to the price.
The strategy is simple MA cross over but with the early indication using Hull ma gives you a heads up on trend / price reversal.
I'm using this in conjunction with BB set at 34. on a 1/3/5 min charts & Heiken Ashi to smooth out the noise with awesome success trading Binary options.

Triple EMA + QQE Trend Following Strategy [TradeDots]The "Triple EMA + QQE Trend Following Strategy" harnesses the power of two sophisticated technical indicators, the Triple Exponential Moving Average (TEMA) and the Qualitative Quantitative Estimation (QQE), to generate precise buy and sell signals. This strategy excels in capturing shifts in trends by identifying short-term price momentum and dynamic overbought or oversold conditions.
HOW IT WORKS
This strategy integrates two pivotal indicators:
Triple Exponential Moving Average (TEMA): TEMA enhances traditional moving averages by reducing lag and smoothing the data more effectively. It achieves this by applying the EMA formula three times onto the price, as follows:
tema(src, length) =>
ema1 = ta.ema(src, length)
ema2 = ta.ema(ema1, length)
ema3 = ta.ema(ema2, length)
tema = 3*ema1 - 3*ema2 + ema3
This computation helps to sharpen the sensitivity to price movements.
Qualitative Quantitative Estimation (QQE): The QQE indicator improves upon the standard RSI by incorporating a smoothing mechanism. It starts with the standard RSI, overlays a 5-period EMA on this RSI, and then enhances the result using a double application of a 27-period EMA. A slow trailing line is then derived by multiplying the result with a factor number. This approach establishes a more refined and less jittery trend-following signal, complementing the TEMA to enhance overall market timing during fluctuating conditions.
APPLICATION
Referenced from insights on "Trading Tact," the strategy implementation follows:
First of all, we utilize two TEMA lines: one set at a 20-period and the other at a 40-period. Then following the rules below:
40-period TEMA is rising
20-period TEMA is above 40-period TEMA
Price closes above 20-period TEMA
Today is not Monday
RSI MA crosses the Slow trailing line
This strategy does not employ an active take profit mechanism; instead, it utilizes a trailing stop loss to allow the price to reach the stop loss naturally, thereby maximizing potential profit margins.
DEFAULT SETUP

CANDLE FILTER Todays scripts is based on my Pullback And Rally Candles with other meaningful candles such as Hammers and Dojis.
You can choose which Candles to show on the cart and if you want to candles to appear above or below a moving average.
If you follow my work, you may recognise some of these candles which I'm about to show you however these candles are 1) more refined and 2) has moving average filters.
Ive included a D,6H,1H Candle in this script as on different timeframes - each swing low on average has a different amount of bars within the swing low / swing high so the DPB and RD will only work on the Daily
//Pullback candle
This candle is very powerful when used with simple Price Action such as Market Structure//Demand zones and support zones. (((((WORKS BEST IN UPTRENDS AND BOTTOM OF RANGES)))))
Ive included a D,6H,1H Pullback Candle in this script as on different timeframes - each swing low on average has a different amount of bars within the swing low so the DPB will only work on the Daily
//DAILY PULLBACK (Swing Traders)

- this signal will produce more signals due to the swing low filter on the 4H
//1H PULLBACK
snapshot
- this signal has been refined due to too many candle displaying in weak areas
!!!IF YOU DONT WANT TO USE PULLBACKS DURING DOWNTRENDS THEN USE THE EMA FILTER TO TURN OFF THE PULLBACKS WHEN PRICE IS BELOW THE MOVING AVERAGE!!!
//Rally candle (My personal Favourite) (((((WORKS BEST IN DOWNTRENDS AND TOP OF RANGES)))))
This candle is very powerful when used with simple Price Action such as Market Structure//Supply zones and Resistance zones.
//DAILY RALLY(Swing Traders)

Long EMA = 200
This filter can be used when the market is trending - look out for rejections off the moving averages
Also you can chance the Short And Long EMA to choose which MA cross you want to use

Financial Astrology Mercury LongitudeMercury energy influence the mind, the intellect and mental temperament, in mundane astrology is well know that rules: news, science, debating, trading, commerce, contracts. telecommunication, short-distance travels, among others. W. D. Gann discovered that the Mercury speed phases (stationary, retrograde, direct) transitions was very relevant as trading signals, he used the Sun conjunction retrograde Mercury to confirm the formation of top and bottoms that seems to be a relevant leading indicator in multiples markets.
As part of the Financial Astrology Research Group experiments, we created hundreds of machine learning models that try to predict daily trend direction for a research portfolio of 10 crypto-currencies and is confirmed that including the Mercury speed and aspects features (variables) in the models increase the accuracy in a consistent manner. Therefore, there is enough evidence that Mercury is one of the most powerful mid term trading cycles.
This is the first open source PIneScript indicator that is able to plot the Mercury Tropical Longitude for the years 2010-2030, we publish as open source in order to support and simplify the research of the amazing astro-traders community at TradingView that have been working manually with annotations and lines to represent the Mercury longitude zodiac signs entries and the speed phases transitions. That manual work is over. Let's move faster in our cycles research!
We encourage all astro traders to continue researching and sharing your ideas of astro cycles trading strategies with us and contribute your experiments at our Github Financial Stats exploration project
so we can improve the cosmic energy models that influence traders behaviours.
Note: The Mercury longitude is based on an ephemeris array that covers years 2010 to 2030, prior or after this years the longitude is not available, this daily ephemeris are based on UTC time so in order to align properly with the price bars times you should set UTC as your chart reference timezone.

Example - MA-Cross Retracement DetectionThe retracement tracker function(s) in this script outline how to:
Track conditions using "toggle" booleans.
Use multiple coinciding conditions to trigger an event just once.
What is a retracement?
"Retracements are temporary price reversals that take place within a
larger trend. The key here is that these price reversals are temporary
and do not indicate a change in the larger trend."

Percent Trailing Stop (%) - For Study Scripts===========
Percent Trailing Stop (%) - { FOR STUDY SCRIPTS }
===========
Wow - this is an example of how to implement Alerts relating to a Trailing Stop (%) within your Study Script. It's taken a bit of effort to get this working but I think we got there!
Alerts include Open Long/Short, Trailing Stop Hit, and (the most important one) Movement of Trailing Stop! <- this is actually really quite good, by the way! :)
You can ignore the actual entry/exit orders - they're based on a simple MA cross and are therefore NOT relevant, NOT profitable and NOT recommended!
You should be using this code as a way of adding a Trailing Stop to your own scripts - hope it helps!
Set your "Open Long/Short" Alert to "Once per Bar Close" - Set your "Trailing Stop Hit" Alert to "Once per Bar" - Set your "Move TSL" Alert to "Once per Bar Close". - You're all done! Enjoy.

A neat example of how to set up Fixed Stops and Take Profit as a percent of the entry price - This is for setting Alerts within your own Study Script for when either your SL or TP get hit.
Yup, that's about it!

Instantaneous Trendline Strategy [ChuckBanger]Based on Instantaneous Trendline, by John Ehlers , identifies the market trend by doing removing cycle component. I think, this simplicity is what makes it attractive :) To understand Ehlers's thought process behind this, refer to the PDF linked below.
There are atleast 6 variations of this ITrend. This version is from his early presentations. You can find it here: www.mesasoftware.com
This is better then a regular MA cross over strategy
Falling-Rising FilterIntroduction
This is a modification of an old indicator i made. This filter aim to adapt to market trend by creating a smoothing constant using highest and lowest functions. This filter is visually similar to the edge-preserving filter, this similarity can make this filter quite good for MA cross strategies.
On The Filter Code
a = nz(a ) + alpha*nz(error ) + beta*nz(error )
The first 3 terms describe a simple exponential filter where error = price - a , beta introduce the adaptive part. beta is equal to 1 when the price is greater or lower than any past price over length period, else beta is equal to alpha , someone could ask why we use two smoothing variable (alpha, beta) instead of only beta thus having :
a = nz(a ) + beta*nz(error )
well alpha make the filter converge faster to the price thus having a better estimation.
In blue the filter using only beta and in red the filter using alpha and beta with both length = 200 , the red filter converge faster to the price, if you need smoother results but less precise estimation only use beta .
Conclusion
I have presented a simple indicator using rising/falling functions to calculate an adaptive filter, this also show that when you create an exponential filter you can use more terms instead of only a = a + alpha*(price - a ) . I hope you find this indicator useful.
