Opening Range & Daily and Weekly PivotsThis script is for a combination of two indicators: an Opening Range Breakout (ORB) indicator and a daily/weekly high/low pivot indicator. The ORB indicator displays the opening range (the high and low of the first X minutes of the trading day, where X is a user-defined parameter) as two lines on the chart. If the price closes above the ORB high, the script triggers an alert with the message "Price has broken above the opening range." Similarly, if the price closes below the ORB low, the script triggers an alert with the message "Price has broken below the opening range."
The daily/weekly high/low pivot indicator plots the previous day's high and low as well as the previous week's high and low. If the current price closes above yesterday's high or last week's high, the script triggers an alert with the messages "We are now trading higher than the previous daily high" and "We are now trading higher than the last week high", respectively. If the current price closes below yesterday's low or last week's low, the script triggers an alert with the messages "We are now trading lower than the previous daily low" and "We are now trading lower than the last week low", respectively.
In addition to the visual representation on the chart, the script also triggers alerts when the price crosses any of these levels. These alerts are intended to help traders make decisions about entering or exiting trades based on the price action relative to key levels of support and resistance.
Average Range @coldbrewroshTaking the average daily range from low to high or high to low isn't the "best" way to get an idea of how much to set targets. So, I made this indicator to make the system better.
This indicator calculates the daily range from Open to High on Bullish Days & Open to Low on Bearish Days .
Nobody can catch the absolute low of the day on bullish days and get out at the high but one can enter at a reasonable price around the open ( 17:00 EST ) .
To complement the Average Range, another table shows the movement in the opposite direction.
For Instance: On Bullish Days how much it moved from Open to Low so that we have an idea of where to put the stop loss and vice versa. The time ranges calculated are the last 5 days, last 1 month, last 3 months & last 1 year.
Note #1: Even though the date range is predefined, it has a different meaning. For Instance: date range of last 5 days means "calculation of the range of last 5 bullish daily candles & not last 5 days" .
Note #2: Exclusive to Forex at the time of posting this.
Confined Range Candle FinderThis indicator finds candlesticks which are confined within the range of a previous candlestick. This indicates volatility contraction which often leads to volatility expansion, i.e. large price movements.
While every confined range will contain at least 1 inside bar, this indicator differs from the Inside Bar Finder which only finds consecutive inside bars.
This indicator includes options such as:
- The minimum number of candlesticks confined within the range of a previous candlestick to trigger the indicator
- Labels to indicate the number of confined candles
- Signal lines to indicate the high and low of the containing candlestick
Try out this indicator with different options on different timeframes to see if confined ranges increase the probability of identifying the direction of price movements. Breaks or closes outside signal lines can be used to trigger trade signals.
Pro Trading Art Open Range Breakout StrategyThis strategy is based on Selected Candle High Low Breakout with buffer point.
You can select specific candle from input tab by giving time of that candle.
Default Settings:

Start Minute: Minute of starting candle. Default is 15. Means Default opening candle is 9:15
Stop Hour : Means After this time no new trade will execute.
End Hour & End Minute & Close All Trade : Means when you specify End Hour and Minute and Close all trade is true then strategy will close all trade on specified time.
Buffer : With the help of this option you can add some point in High and low of Opening Candle
Trade Mode : You can specify Target and Stop Loss in point or Percent
Stop Loss Point or Percent : This will work according to Trade Mode
Target Point Or Percent : This will work according to Trade Mode
Impatient TS VWAP BandsImpatient VWAP bands are based of Traderskew's VWAP bands but are for more impatient traders.
Wicking or crossing down through the upper band indicates a good short trade entry for range-bound trading periods while wicking or crossing up through the lower band indicates a good long entry in range-bound conditions.
By default, impatience is disabled. If it is turned on, adjusting impatience determines how quickly the bands approach price: higher impatience approaches price faster. Rebound indicates how far from price the bands bounce after hitting price.
RAVI FX Fisher [Loxx]RAVI FX Fisher is a special implementation of RAVI using WMA moving averages and ATR and then normalized like Fisher Transform. If the histogram falls between the white lines, the market is too choppy to trade. This indicator is tuned for Forex.
What is RAVI?
The Range Action Verification Index (RAVI) indicator shows the percentage difference between current prices and past prices to identify market trends. It is calculated based on moving averages of different lengths.

Stop Loss With Average True Range (ATR)Stop Loss With Average True Range (ATR)
It simplifies the calculation of stop loss price for stop loss method using the average true range (ATR).
For example;
You want to stop loss below 3 ATR. Let's assume the price is 100, the average true range is 5. You will multiply the average true range by 3 and subtract from the price and enter a stop loss order at the 85 price you have reached. Instead of doing this calculation every time, you just need to use this script and set the multiplier to 3. A stop loss line will be drawn below the price candles.
You can set the method to be used when averaging the true range. Methods you can use to average: EMA (exponentially moving average), HMA (hull moving average), RMA (moving average used in RSI), SMA (simple moving average), SWMA (symmetrically weighted moving average), VWMA (volume-weighted moving average), WMA (weighted moving average).
You can set the length to be used when averaging the true range.
You can set the multiplier to be used when determining the stop loss price.

Ortalama Gerçek Aralıkla (ATR) Zarar Durdurma
Gerçek aralığın ortalamasını kullanarak zarar durdurma yöntemi için zarar durdurma fiyatının hesaplanmasını kolaylaştırır.
Örneğin;
EHMA Range StrategyThis script is a modified version of @borserman's script for the Exponential Hull Moving Average
All credit for the EHMA goes to him :)
In addition to the EHMA, this script works with a range around the EHMA (which can be modified), in an attempt to be robust against fake signals. Many times a bar will close below a moving average, only to reverse again the next bar, which eats away at your profits. Especially on shorter timeframes, but also on choppy longer timeframes this can make a strategy unattractive to use.
With the range around the EHMA, the strategy only enters a long/exit-short position if a bar crosses above the upper range. Vice versa, it only enters a short/exit-long position if a bar crosses below the lower range. This avoids positions if bars behave choppy within the EHMA range & only enters a position if the market is confident in it's direction. Having said that, fakeouts are still possible, but a lot less frequent. Having backtested this strategy vs the regular EHMA strategy (and having experimented with various settings), this version seems to be a lot more robust & profitable!

Please remember that past performance may not be indicative of future results.
Due to various factors, including changing market conditions, the strategy may no longer perform as good as in historical backtesting.

Bogdan Ciocoiu - Sniper EntryWhat is Sniper Entry
Sniper Entry is a set indicator that encapsulates a collection of pre-configured scripts using specific variables that enable users to extract signals by interpreting market behaviour quickly, suitable for 1-3min scalping. This instrument is a tool that acts as a confluence for traders to make decisions concerning current market conditions. This indicator does not apply solely to an asset.
What Sniper Entry is not
Sniper Entry is not interpreting fundamental analysis and will also not be providing out of box market signals. Instead, it will provide a collection of integrated and significantly improved open-source subscripts designed to help traders speculate on market trends. Traders must apply their strategies and configure Sniper Entry accordingly to maximise the script's output.
Originality and usefulness
The collection of subscripts encapsulated in this tool makes it unique in the Trading View ecosystem. This indicator enables traders to consider entry positions or exit positions by comparing similar algorithms at once.
Its usefulness also emerges from the unique configurations embedded in the indicator's settings, which are different from those of the original scripts.
This indicator's originality is also reflected in how its modules are integrated, including the integration of the settings.
Open-source reuse
I used the following open-source resources, which I simplified significantly and pre-configured for short term scalping. The source codes for the below are already in the public domain, including the following links listed below.

SD - Average True Range v5 - DoubleSD - Average True Range - Daily Weekly Monthly Yearly v5
It gives ATR intervals as 4 hours, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. The expectation is to fill the ATR targets within the specified ranges. It can be used to determine target points on charts with a clear direction on the train.
Unlike the previous version, it is provided to use 2 different periods in the same indicator.
Note: Developed based on the source codes of the original SD ADR indicator.
PEC Range (Prefer on 1D chart)Price Expansion and Contraction is basic calculation of Candles High-Low and it is average of previous 5 High-Low. Which will help to analyse volatility of running situation. This can be used for analysis purpose only not as buy/sell signals.
How to use this?
Ranges of candles may increase on lower value of PEC.
Ranges of candles may decrease on high of PEC.
This is not ATR of 5 period.

LTP - Risk Ranges
This indicator shows volume and volatility adjusted risk ranges for the price.
Based on the previous volume in upside (downside) movements and the volatility of these upside (downside) movements a plausible range to the upside (downside) is calculated and drawn.
15-Min Opening Range Breakout STEP-BY-STEP RULES
1. Define the Opening Range (OR)
Mark the high and low of the first 15-minute candle of the session.
This creates your Opening Range.
Example: London session opens at 08:00 GMT. Use the 08:00–08:15 candle.
2. Set Entry Triggers
Buy Breakout: Place a Buy Stop order 1 pip above the Opening Range high.
Sell Breakout: Place a Sell Stop order 1 pip below the Opening Range low.
⚠️ Only one side should be triggered. Cancel the opposite order once one is active.
3. Set Stop Loss (SL)
For Buy trades:
SL = Opening Range Low - 2 pips
For Sell trades:
SL = Opening Range High + 2 pips
This ensures you give the price enough space, while keeping risk controlled.
4. Set Take Profit (TP)
Use either of these two approaches:
✅ Fixed Risk-Reward (Preferred)
Target 1: TP = 2R (i.e., 2 × SL distance)
Target 2 (optional): Leave runner for 3R or trail stop behind minor S/R
✅ Fixed Pip Target (alternative)
TP = +50 pips
SL = -20 pips
Matches your preferred risk model of 20 SL / 50 TP
5. Trade Management
If no breakout occurs within 1 hour, cancel the pending orders. No trade that day.
If trade triggers but fails to move, consider time-based exit after 2 hours.
Optional: Move SL to breakeven once price moves 1R in your favor.
Compression Patterns (w/ Trend + Proximity Filter)🧠 Description:
This indicator identifies high-probability price compression patterns within trending environments — a setup prized by experienced swing and day traders alike. It combines the classic NR4, NR7, 2-Bar NR, 3-Bar NR, and Inside Day formations with a powerful trend filter and proximity logic to deliver clear, focused signals.
🔍 What's Inside:
▪️ Compression Patterns
The core of this tool lies in the logic of price compression. These patterns signal the market taking a breath — volatility contracts, volume dries up, and price coils like a spring.
When this happens in the right context, the next move is often explosive.
NR4 / NR7: Narrowest range in 4 or 7 bars — excellent for spotting the quiet before the storm.
2-Bar NR / 3-Bar NR: These identify the tightest consecutive 2 or 3-day ranges over the past 20 days — contextually rare and powerful.
Inside Day: A simple but highly effective consolidation pattern, especially when it clusters around key moving averages.
▪️ Trend Filter (EMA Stack)
You could say this is where most indicators fall apart — no context.
This one doesn’t make that mistake.
Signals only fire when the 10 EMA > 20 EMA > 50 EMA, and price is above the 20 EMA. That’s a strong, established uptrend — the only environment where breakouts are statistically favourable.
Why?
Because trend following works.
It may not give you fixed daily returns, but it’s the only strategy with theoretically infinite profit potential. You risk little, trade less, and position yourself for rare but massive moves. That’s the edge.
▪️ Proximity Filter (1 ATR to EMA)
We’ve added another layer of discipline. Signals only fire when price is:
Within 1 ATR of the 10 EMA (if price is above it), or
Within 1 ATR of the 20 EMA (if price is below the 10 EMA)
This ensures you’re not chasing. You’re waiting for tight, controlled pullbacks into dynamic support — exactly where institutions add size, not exit.
⚙️ Fully Customisable:
Toggle visibility of each pattern
Custom colours and transparency for label & background
Adjustable ATR length and multiplier
Change label text if needed (useful for translations or tweaks)
🎯 Ideal Use Case:
Swing trading off the daily chart
Day trading with VWAP/MACD filters (in alternate versions)
Supplementing price action strategies
🔚 Final Word:
This isn’t an “everything scanner.”
It’s a discerning sniper scope for traders who wait patiently for clean trends, tight consolidations, and perfect proximity — then strike.

Body Percentage of Range (Colored)Short Description:
This indicator measures the dominance of the candle's body relative to its total range (High - Low), providing a visual gauge of intra-candle strength versus indecision. Columns are colored based on whether the body constitutes more or less than a defined percentage (default 50%) of the candle's total height.
Detailed Description:
What it Does:
The "Body Percentage of Range" indicator calculates, for each candle, what percentage of the total price range (High minus Low) is occupied by the candle's body (absolute difference between Open and Close).
A value of 100% means the candle has no wicks (a Marubozu), indicating strong conviction during that period.
A value of 0% means the candle has no body (a Doji), indicating perfect indecision.
Values in between show the relative balance between the directional move (body) and the price exploration/rejection (wicks).
How to Interpret:
The indicator plots this percentage as columns:
Column Height: Represents the percentage of the body relative to the total range. Higher columns indicate a larger body dominance.
Column Color:
Green Columns: Appear when the body percentage is above the user-defined threshold (default 50%). This suggests that the directional move within the candle was stronger than the indecision (wicks). Often seen during trending moves or strong momentum candles.
Red Columns: Appear when the body percentage is at or below the user-defined threshold (default 50%). This suggests that wicks dominate the candle (body is 50% or less of the range), indicating significant indecision, struggle between buyers and sellers, or potential reversals. These are common in choppy, consolidating, or reversal market conditions.
Orange Line (Optional MA): A Simple Moving Average (SMA) of the body percentages is plotted to help smooth the readings and identify broader periods where candle structure indicates more trending (high MA) vs. ranging/indecisive (low MA) characteristics.
Potential Use Cases:
Identifying Choppy vs. Trending Markets: Sustained periods of low, predominantly red columns (and often a low/declining MA) can signal a choppy, range-bound market where trend-following strategies might underperform. Conversely, periods with frequent high, green columns suggest a more trending environment.
Confirming Breakouts/Momentum: High green columns appearing alongside increased volume during a breakout can add conviction to the move's strength.
Spotting Potential Exhaustion/Reversals: A very tall green column after a strong trend, followed immediately by a low red column (like a Doji or Spinning Top pattern appearing on the price chart), might signal potential exhaustion or a pending reversal, indicating indecision has suddenly entered the market.
Filtering Entries: Traders might avoid taking entries (especially trend-following ones) when the indicator shows a consistent pattern of low red columns, suggesting high market indecision.
Settings:
Color Threshold %: Allows you to set the percentage level above which columns turn green (default is 50%).
Smoothing MA Length: Adjusts the lookback period for the Simple Moving Average.
Disclaimer:
This indicator is a tool for technical analysis and should be used in conjunction with other methods (like price action, volume analysis, other indicators) and robust risk management. It does not provide direct buy/sell signals and past performance is not indicative of future results.
BBr1 Candle Range Volitility Gap IndicatorModified Candle Range Volatility Gap Indicator
1. Useful to analyze bars body and wicks and volatility of security.
2. Added a Percentage Option - easier to analyze across different securities.
2. Added a Standard Deviation ("1 std dev= 68.2%, 2 std dev=95.4%, 3 std dev=99.7%, etc") based upon user defined lookback period.
3. Added the ability to include Gaps in Analysis. (Gaps are when the prior closing cost does not equal opening price)
4. Possible Uses setting up stop losses, trailing entries/exits (inside range or outside range).
5. Use it with other indicators in determining if to make an entry or close entry.
Reposted Original Description by © ka66 Kamal Advani
Visually shows the Body Range (open to close) and Candle Range (high to low).
Semi-transparent overlapping area is the full Candle Range, and fully-opaque smaller area is the Body Range. For aesthetics and visual consistency, Candle Range follows the direction of the Body Range, even though technically it's always positive (high - low).
The different plots for each range type also means the UI will allow deselecting one or the other as needed. For example, some strategies may care only about the Body Range, rather than the entire Candle Range, so the latter can be hidden to reduce noise.
Threshold horizontal lines are plotted, so the trader can modify these high and low levels as needed through the user interface. These need to be configured to match the instrument's price range levels for the timeframe. The defaults are pretty arbitrary for +/- 0.0080 (80 pips in a 4-decimal place forex pair). Where a range reaches or exceeds a threshold, it's visually marked as well with a shape at the Body or Candle peak, to assist with quicker visual potential setup scanning, for example, to anticipate a following reversal or continuation.

It is a tool that aims to determine the dynamic price range based on fluctuations and average prices. Consolidation areas are identified and buy and sell signals are given when this range is breached or broken.
// It is preferable to use the indicator on a 4-hour frame or more //
Features of the indicator:
1- Detecting the dynamic price range
- The indicator calculates the average price over a specific period and compares recent closings with the price volatility range (ATR) to see if the price is moving within a specific range.
2- Identifying Breakout Signals
- When the price breaks the upper limit of the range, the indicator shows a buy signal (BUY).
- When the price breaks the lower limit of the range, the indicator shows a sell signal (SELL).
3- Support for multiple moving average patterns
- Allows users to choose the type of moving average (SMA, EMA, WMA) used to calculate the average price.
4- Custom settings for filtering by trading volume (optional)
- Trading volume filtering is an optional feature in the indicator that allows filtering buy and sell signals based on the strength of the trading volume, which enhances the accuracy of the signals by ensuring that price breakouts are supported by strong trading volume
5- Flexible design with customization of colors and patterns
- Users can change the colors of the range and buy and sell signals as they wish.
6- Automatic alerts when a breakout or breakout occurs
- Includes alerts when a buy or sell signal occurs.
How does the indicator work?
* The average price is calculated over the specified period (rangePeriod).
* The price volatility (ATR) is calculated and multiplied by the range factor (rangeMultiplier).
* A rectangle is drawn that represents the price range between (average price ± volatility).
* If the price exceeds the upper bound → a buy signal (BUY).
* If the price breaks the lower bound → a sell signal (SELL).
* Signals can be filtered using trading volume (optional).
1.0 → Current volume should be at least equal to the average.
1.2 → Current volume should be 20% above the average.
1.5 → Current volume should be 50% above the average.
