Bogdan Ciocoiu - MoonshotDescription
Moonshot is an indicator that encapsulates the value delivered by the TSI, MACD, Awesome Oscillator and CCI algorithms to produce signals to enable users to enter positions in ideal market conditions. Moonshot integrates the value delivered by the above four algorithms into one script.
This indicator is particularly useful when trading continuation/reversal divergence strategies.
Uniqueness
The Moonshot's uniqueness stands from integrating the above algorithms into the same visual area and leveraging preconfigured parameters suitable for 1-3 minute scalping techniques.
In addition, Moonshot allows swapping or furthermore configuring the above four algorithms in such a way to align signals by colour-coding or shape thickness to aid the users with identifying any emerging patterns quicker.
Furthermore, Moonshot's uniqueness is also reflected in the way it has standardised the outputs of each algorithm to look and feel the same (including the scale at which the shapes are shown) and, in doing so, enables users to plug them in/out as needed.
Open-source
The indicator leverages the following open-source scripts/algorithms:

Ichimoku Buy/Sell Signals of manual MTF Tenkan crossing KijunIchimoku Buy/Sell Signals based on fast, small time frame Tenkans crossing longer timeframes Kijuns - Manual MTF Analysis
This code marks the potential change of direction based on the input of one timeframe's Ichimoku Tenkan (conversion) line crossing over a higher, longer timeframe's Ichimoku Kijun (base) line.
Feel free to change the inputs if need be and to hide the yellow box. Use Ichimoku rules of Tenkan, Kijun, Lagging Span, and Cloud for Take profit/Stop Losses. It is best to wait 3-5 minutes after the signal to enter to confirm the trend and to confirm if the Lagging Span has broken key levels. I refer to the book Trading with Ichimoku - A Practical Guide to Low-Risk Ichimoku Strategies by Karen Peloille as the Ichimoku rulebook. Good luck.
For day trading/scalping/intraday - 1min/3min/5min
Tenkan Line Timeframe = 1min
Kijun Line Timeframe = 5min
For swing trading - multiple days/weeks - 4HR/Daily/Weekly Charts
Tenkan Line Timeframe = day
Kijun Line Timeframe = week
FTL - Range Filter X2 + EMA + UOThjs script combines two range filters, an EMA and the Ultimate oscillator.
This is an indicator type of script with alerts that is ideal for one minute scalping and was developed initially for NAS100 but has been used successfully with other symbols.
The two range filters are used to detect when the short and mid term trends are in the same direction.
The EMA indicates the longer term trend and the UO is used to determine if an asset is overbought or oversold.
This indicator pairs well with divergence indicators to add confluence to a change in direction.
Additional features of this indicator:
- Configure whether to show buy and sell labels only when asset is not overbought or oversold
- Select whether to show buys only when price is above the EMA , or sells only below the EMA
- Indicate a bar where a trend crosses the EMA and select if the crossover or cross under should be shown only in a counter trend.
- Pullbacks within a trend can be identified. This may indicate trend continuation.
- Alerts can be created for pullbacks, EMA crossing and for buy or sell signals

Top 40 High Low Strategy for SPY, 5minThis strategy is developed based on my High Low Index SPY Top 40 indicator
Notes:
- this strategy is only developed for SPY on the 5 min chart . It seems to work with QQQ as well, but it isn't optimized for it
- P/L shown is based on 10 SPY option contracts, call or put, with strike price closest to the entry SPY price and expiry of 0 to 1 day. This includes commissions (can be changed). This is only an estimate calculated using an arbitrary multiplier factor, this can be changed in the setting
- P/L is based on $5000 initial capital
- Works with both regular / extended trading session turned on/off. However, max drawdown is 1/2 with extended trading session ON
- there is still a bug that doesn't allow alert to be created due to calculation error, will update once fixed
This strategy combines signals from the following indicators to determine entry signals:
- High Low Index SPY Top 40
- MACD
- Linear Regression Slope
Entry signal is triggered when:
- High Low Index line crosses the EMA line
- MACD trending in the same direction
- Linear Regression slope is accelerating above a threshold in the same direction, indicating a strong trend
Profit target(PT) and stop loss(SL) are determined using ATR value, with 2:1 Reward to Risk ratio as default.
Exit signal may be triggered prior to PT or SL trigger when:
- High Low Index SPY Top 40 shows a reversal after overbought or oversold conditions (optional)
- Opposite entry signal is triggered
There are a number of optional settings:
- Turn on/off "option trading", P/L will be calculated using share price only without multiplication factor for trading option contracts
- # of options per trade, default to 10
- Reinvest with profit made
- Trade with trailing SL after PT hit
- Take profit early based on Top 40 overbought/oversold
- Trade 0/1 day expiry. This will signal exit by the end of the day on Mon/Wed/Fri, and only exits 1/2 of positions (if in profit) on Tues/Thurs
- Can reduce the SL level without impacting PT
- No entry between 10:05 - 10:20 (don't ask me why, but statistically it performs better)
Consider donating me some of your profit if you make $$$ hahaha~ ;)
Enjoy~~
Double RSI/LSMA Double RSI uses a Slow RSI combined with a Fast RSI to generate Buy and Sell signals. Least Squares Moving Average is only here for filtering signals. It is very good on certain stocks or ETFs on longer timeframes for swing trading. If you get a Buy signal look at the LSMA trend and if the candle is above the LSMA. It works great for me on lower timeframes scalping futures and on higher timeframes swinging options. It is better than paying for Buy and Sell signals. Its my first script/indicator so play with it and see what you think. Let me know if you guys find anything that makes it better. Hopefully this helps some traders out there.
Alligator: Three signals confirmation with AlertsHello Trading Viewers,
The following is the William’s Alligator indicator with alerts indicating strong momentum, it can be used for scalping in lower time-frames or just riding the momentum in 1hr or 4hrs charts.
Input choices are:
1. Source of Data: Open, Low, High, Close, HL2, HLC3 and so on.
2. Simple and Exponential are the two choices of moving averages.
3. Lips, Teeth and Jaws input numbers are Fibonacci numbers with offsets from -4 to +4.
4. Up Momentum and Down Momentum signals will be plotted top and bottom of the charts respectively when conditions are met.
Idea used to confirm strong momentum
When (High + Low / 2) price is greater than Alligator’s Lips, Teeth, and Jaws, it is considered as a good time to go long; however, to strengthen the idea, the up-momentum condition needs to be approved three times consecutively. (Three consecutive candle bars should remain above Lips, Teeth, and Jaws to trigger an alert signal and plot Up- momentum shape on the charts)
The same idea with down-momentum, but the condition (High + Low / 2) price should be less than Alligator’s Lips, Teeth, and Jaws.
There is an alert set-up, once strong momentum is spotted it will send an alert once per bar close. You can relax and run an errand when the alert is not triggered.
Happy Trading!
Jurik Volatility BandsVolatility is a core concept in trading and impacts our trading strategies. Therefore, all traders should have some sort of volatility indicator displayed to gauge the current volatility and future expected moves.
Jurik Volatility Bands displays the price inside a volatility channel. In this way, we can measure the current price action in accordance with its volatility.
Usage
The indicator is mainly used for scalping and intraday trading. Whenever the price touches either the upper or lower volatility band, we can consider it a volatility move. It can lead to a pullback or breakout move. However, we know that when the volatility is high, we expect more significant price moves and should prepare ourselves for it.

Reversal off EMA-XsEMA-Xs works mostly on Forex due to the small prices and price fluctuations. It does work on Gold, oddly enough, and some others like UKX 100...but mostly on forex. It doesn't work as well on JPY pairs but occasionally does; the JPY pairs give less signals, but when a JPY pair gives a signal, its a high probability setup. Another script EMA-XL works better on the higher priced instruments like S&P, DJI, OIL, BTC etc.
This script will show 3 moving averages: 13, 34, 200 and works on the 5m, 1hr, 4hr, daily charts. Signals "B" or "S" will be on the chart above or below the candles respectively.
When to open:
The script gives buy and sell signals based on a counter-trend move away from the MA's. When the price rises a specific percent above/below the EMA, it'll give a signal. It's best to take a trade when it gives a cluster of consecutive signals near the same price. If using on the 5m, definitely wait for consecutive signals. Also, use this in conjunction with support and resistance areas. Using with fibs for confirmation really makes this a good tool with high probability: IE, when price hits a fib and the script gives a signal, its a high probability setup.
When to close:
1. After a fast move up/down you may use this to counter trade a scalp 10+ pips, but you need to be quick; applies mostly to the 5m chart.
2. If you have the tenacity wait until you see an opposite signal. With this method you may be holding a loosing trade for a while. But what I've noticed is if it trends against you, price usually with come near to the first time it signaled. You may want to stack trades on each cluster of signals. IE first trade is 1000 units, next is 2000 units, etc... then close when prices comes near the first time it signaled. By this time, if you held, you should have profit. This strategy will really test your mental resilience.
3. Wait until it comes back to one of the trendlines; remember this is a counter trend signal so price is moving away from the MA and it always returns to touch one of the MA's...LOL eventually
4. Applying to scalping on the 5m, keep the stops tight because if the instrument trends hard and fast, you'll be upside-down quickly.
If you put a lot of time into using this signal generator, you can really make good profit. But with all tools, you need to master it. There are nuances to the simple logic of this script that can be both fun and frustrating. With all endeavors, if you put the time into it, you will reap the rewards.
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions/comments.
MTF EMA TrendThe indicator plots directional arrows on top of the chart to visualize the market's price trend. The plots are based on candle closing below all three multitimeframe EMAs, downtrend, when the EMAs are also in order (1 below 2 and 2 below 3). Opposite situation is uptrend.
It also marks a breakdown when the price closes under the third (supposedly always the slowest) EMA outside of aforementioned downtrend situation. Opposite is true for breakup to be marked.
Please always make sure, that the three EMAs are in order of EMA 1 being the fastest and 3rd the slowest. Default settings are used on the 5 minute timeframe.
Indicator can be used to quickly check the overall trend of the market as told by three MTF EMAs without needing to clutter the chart with the actual EMA plots. This is useful, for example, if you mainly base your scalping trades on other types of indicators, but you want a quick peek of the market direction or indecision.
KAMIKAMI EMA RIBBONGood evening plebians, This IS Cryptofilio, Your dark knight in the Crypto lightness.... Introducing yet another nebulous indicator... It's the KAMI, KAMI (GODS in Japanese) EMA ribbon.....
This indicator uses 3 primary lengths of EMA labeled as Short, Medium, and Long. They change colors in relation to each other and in relation to the current price of the security.
This indicator is more sophisticated than a simple MA cross strategy as you can use a wider variety of signals for entering earlier and exiting earlier, thus getting into a trade early in the run-up and getting out before the run-down. The EMA is identifiable by the color, lighter green and red representing lower lookbacks. When the OHLC4 crosses the ema it changes color. Thus if all colors are red, then the security is trading below all EMA's - a strong sell or short signal.
GREEN inside of RED indicates an uptrend within a larger downtrend... and of course, the inverse is also true.
The triangles which indicate a cross, are color-coded according to their significance by transparency - the less transparent the more important or significant the cross.
In addition, there are bull and bear bounce indicators (the arrows) that predict a bounce up or down from the security meeting a point along the EMA line and reacting.

Swing ComparatorHere I bring you an array of methods to compare the swings and consistency between assets.
This indicator is excellent for swing traders and scalpers looking to maximize their profits by examining which of two closely related pairs provides greater price fluctuation during given period.
This indicator works against two assets, which are to be configured in settings.
This indicator has 5 particular plots for you to examine, each which can be considered for you to contemplate which pair for you to next perform a trade on.
First off, let's start with the blue.
The blue is simply a pearson correlation coefficient, thankfully now included in tradingview. This provides a value of 1 as values show to be close correlation, 0 showing no correlation, and -1 showing negative correlation - meaning an increase in one pair correlates to a decrease in another pair. This will turn green when greater than 0.975, showing a very strong relationship between the two pairs, and red when below -0.975. This is the only plot to be interpreted on a scale from -1 to +1.
Next, we have the purple and yellow background plots, followed by the white and green moving averages. Though similar, these are all slightly different.
For each of these 4 plots, a value greater than 0 indicates greater price swings for your Symbol #1, while a value less than 0 indicates greater price swings for Symbol #2.
These calculations are performed on a per bar basis, meaning you're likely going to be examining bars longer than what you'll normally be trading on. Use confluence, as well as your own judgement for this.
For example, if symbol #1 provides a bar with an open value 1% greater or less than close, providing a 1% swing on a given bar, but symbol #2 provides 2%, the indicator will fall down toward the negative, as Symbol #2 had the greater swing.
First, yellow focuses on only open/close bar values, and thus the body of the candlestick.
Purple, on the other hand, focuses on the wicks of the candle - thus, the high/low values. I've opted to make these two different values as a wick focuses on the embodiment within the time period, and body focuses on the open/close instant.
Next, the green is an extended EMA of the purple - High/Low ratio. This is important to examine trend overtime, and reduce unneeded noise.
Lastly, the white is simply difference in the standard deviation of the particular bars, between the two symbols you have selected. The tends to usually tie up with the green pretty well.
Considering this is going to by nature be very noisy datasets, I have included in settings the option to extend an EMA for everything. They have their default settings, but if you'd like to examine the trend without an EMA, feel free to set it to 1 to eliminate its effects.
I have additionally added the ability to introduce clipping, as well as scale the correlation coefficient to remain visible when examining very short term time scales. In the future, I hope to properly normalize all plots to remain within a -1 to +1 basis. Please be patient as I have multiple projects ongoing.
Suggestions and constructive criticism are very well encouraged.
Anyone is welcome to utilize this in their code, as well, i just ask you provide credit.
As you reduce to time frames less than a day, you will likely have to reduce the coefficient min/max closer to 0.025, or just hide it entirely.
TODO:
Make it look better. Sorry, folks.
Introduce latency between pairs.
Examine significance of a coefficient of determination
Remove static weights and introduce z-score and linear normalization.
Consider adding room for a 3rd pair. This could get ugly, however.
Linear Channel - Scalp Strategy 15MSimple way how to use Linear Regression for trading.
What we use:
• Linear Regression
• HMA as a trend filter
Logic:
Firstly we make simple linear regression moving. It is the white line which appears on the chart.
Then we make second line (named: band2) on the chart by multiplying linreg and value difference.
The third step is to ad HMA as a trend filter.
The trade open when price is below band2, but still upper than Hullma. The trade close when price again upper than linreg.

Volume Adaptive Chikou Scalping StudyIDEA PLACEMENT
This indicator uses “Chikou” cross concept of Ichimoku cloud indicator and enhances usage of High/Low data with Volume Breakout and Volatility based dynamic adaption.
I’ve been working on making Moving Averages more adaptive based on Volume Breakout and Volatility but as we know Mas work better on close values. I wanted to create a study that may have maximum data available and that’s how I came up with the concept of making adaptive Ichimoku Cloud. Except, I used different concept than Ichimoku. As we know that Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen from Ichimoku Cloud average out highest and lowest values within 26 and 9 period respectively but I tried making it Volume Breakout and Volatility based Adaptive but couldn’t get better results.
Along the way I came up with an idea of instead of averaging out just keeping the High/Low values data separate and intact and to do so I took Linear regression of High values of Volume Breakout and Volatility based Adaptive dynamic period and similarly with Low values.
Then the strategy was to use Chikou for crossover and crossunder indication and for this purpose I used Chikou with same dynamic length as used before in High/Low linear regression.
The idea becomes simple as when Adaptive Dynamic Chikou crosses Adaptive Dynamic Linear Regression of High/Low values then Lowest / Highest value within current Adaptive Dynamic Length becomes the next Support / Resistance.
SIGNALS
Not every Chikou cross would give signal instead signal should be supported by either Volume Breakout or Volatility whatever you have selected from.
FIBONACCI EVELOPE BANDS
I’ve included ATR based Fibonacci multiple bands which would act as good support/resistance zones.
DEFAULT SETTINGS
I’ve set default Minimum length to 20 and Maximum length to 50 which I’ve found works best for almost all timeframes but you can change this delta to adpat your timeframe accordingly with more precision.
Dynamic length adoption is enabled based on both Volume and Volatility but only one or none of them can also be selected.
Trend signals verification is enabled based on Volume but Volatility can also be enabled for more precise confirmations.
In “RVSI” settings TFS Volume Oscillator is set to default but others work good too especially Volume Zone Oscillator. For more details about Volume Breakout you can check “MZ RVSI Indicator”
ATR breakout is set to be true if period 14 exceeds period 46 but can be changed if more adaption with volatility is required.
FURTHER ENHANCEMENTS
I’ve used Linear Regression of High/Low values because I found better results with it but SMA and HMA can also be used. I’m planning to perpetually use this study for Dynamically length adaption and trades confirmations in other strategies.

Price Clouds (PS)Price could shows you dynamic support resistance levels. It also displays two bands (ie clouds) that show you where the trend is. If the price hits the bottom of the high band thats a buy and if it hits the top of the high band its a sell. During times of volatility the price can break support but you will find that the opposite band will work as the next level. I added tool tips for every option to help explain what everything does and I also left suggestions for other settings.
This works great on everything! That being said I have this setup in a general way that works really well for 20m forex. If you are scalping you might want to speed up the indicator. This is also true if you want go to the daily chart or above. Adjust the Stdev to match the market.. and I mean really play around with.. dont be shy! With all that out of the way this really will work out of the box. If you like this indicator its actually the same thing as my (PBS) but this one is an overlay on the chart. (Also as of publishing this script the code for this version is way cleaner. In fact I plan on replacing PBS with this as its base)
If you find this indicator is useful to you, Star it, Follow, Donate, Like and Share.
Your support is a highly motivation for me.
Retail Insider Trend Following (HTF ONLY)Before I begin, here is a disclaimer: None of this is financial advice, and I'll recommend you to do your own research or talk to your financial advisor, if you want to use this. And also make sure you understand the risks properly before taking any trades. This particular indicator is a work of experiment, and I am publishing the optimized code. Please leave a comment below if you have any queries.
As per the logic, I am taking the highest point in a particular time window (used the in built ta.highest function) , and the lowest point in a particular time window (used the ta.lowest), and averaged it using the in built function (
RMA(which is the B33 Mean.)
For the offset, I am simply calculating and adding some values (which can also be input by the user.)
and this user input is in percentage.
So if you observe the lines, the Red line in between is the mean, and the Yellow lines are the offsets. (Everything can be changed in settings)
In simple layperson terms, if the price goes above the Red line, it's an uptrend,
and if the price goes below the Red line, it is in a downtrend.
Now I just wanted to keep the offset because I wanted more confirmation before actually entering a trade. (the offset can be changed again, from the settings, and the offset is in percentage)
A lot of times, you will see that the price is kind of going sideways, where, a lot of traders get trapped, as there is no clear trend.
So in order to eliminate that choppy price action and stay out, I'm using this offset. This should probably save a lot of bad trades.
So basically, if the price goes and closes above the higher offset, it will confirm a trend change, and a possible bull market.
Similarly, if the price goes and closes below the lower offset, it will confirm the end of the bull market, or a corrective phase, or a bear market.
A few things to note, however...
If you change the timeframe, you will see that the lines are not shifting/changing that much. This is because, it will consider the highest and the lowest points and average it.
So, basically, if you do the math, you will understand why,... and this logic is purely for a higher timeframe analysis/confirmation.
I'll personally recommend this kind of a setup for swing trading/confirmation on the daily or the 4H charts, mostly for longer timeframes. (If you are on the pro/pro+ or premium, you can try out 6H or 12H timeframes as well)
If you are looking for scalping, setups and indicators, this is not the right one.
If you liked it, don't forget to give a follow :)
Bogdan Ciocoiu - Looking Glass► Description
The script shows a multi-timeline suite of information for the current ticker. This information refers to configurable moving averages, RSI, Stochastic RSI, VWAP and TSI data. The timeframes reflected in the script vary from 1m to 1h. I recommend the tool for 3m scalping as it provides good visibility upwards.
The headings from the table are:
{Close} - {MA1}
{Close} - {MA2}
{Close} - {MA3}
{MA1} - {MA2}
{MA2} - {MA3}
{RSI}
{Stoch RSI K}
{Stoch RSI D}
{VWAP}
{TSI}
{TSI EMA}
{TSI} - {TSI EMA}
► Originality and usefulness
This tool is helpful because it helps users read a chart much quicker than if they were to navigate between timeframes. The colour coding indicates an accident/descendant trend between any two values (i.e. close vs MA1, MA1-MA2, RSI K vs RSI D, etc.).

Volume Based Ichimoku CloudIntroduction
This release focuses primarily on a volume-based Donchian. For some time I was looking for a volume-based Donchian, not finding anything that satisfied me I tried to apply one, and then I applied it to Ichimoku.
I found advantages especially in the lateralization phase, where the integration with the volume filters some false signals.
I have added some features:
- Check the conditions of buy/sell of classic Ichimoku
- Verified reverse buy/sell condition
- Alerts
- Entrance package
- possibility to choose the type of Donchian to use (classic, volume-based)
Settings
There are the classic parameters of Ichimoku, for scalping, I use setting like(6-17-34-17 or 5-14-28-14), the new parameters are:
Donchian Type : Classic / Volume Based
Show Condition : it shows green/red square on the bottom when all the conditions of Ichimoku are satisfied, without the checkmark the inputs or the alarms will not work for this type of signal
Show Reversal : it shows yellow/purple triangle on the bottom when all during short/long state condition of Ichimoku Tenkan cross the Kijun, without the checkmark the inputs or the alarms will not work for this type of signal
Trades Framework
Show Trade Lines : show the lines for Entry Point, TP1, TP2, SL
Per n Bars : For how many bars the sending lines will be drawn
Enter Gap : It's the gap, in percentage, from the last candle low/high. For example, the entry point will be set 0.1% higher than the last high of the candle, in a long situation, or 0.1% lower than the last low of the candle in a short situation.
Take Profit 1 : It's the gap, in percentage, from the entry point. For example, the first take profit will be set 0.5% higher/lower than the entry point.
Take Profit 2 : It's the gap, in percentage, from the entry point. For example, the second take profit will be set 0.5% higher/lower than the entry point.
Stop Loss : It's the gap, in percentage, from the entry point. For example, the stop loss will be set 0.5% higher/lower than the entry point.
How to use
The use will be like that for the classic Ichimoku, the combination with a volatility indicator or the volume analysis will certainly help to reduce false signals and therefore to select only the most profitable signals.
Remember that every statistical indicator is just a tool, it needs to be understood to be used at its best, otherwise, it is just a colored line in a colored graph.
Argo II - (alerts for 3commas composite bots) - publicThis script lets users create BUY/SELL alerts for 3commas composite bots (1 alert = 12 pairs) in a simple way, based on a built in set of indicators that can be tweaked to work together or alone through the study settings.
There is a version of this script for single pair bots, with slightly more features here .
If the user choses to create both BUY and SELL signals from the study settings, the (1) alert created will send both BUY and SELL signals for all 12 pairs selected. At this stage, the script forces the user to select 12 pairs in the study settings. If less pairs are inserted, it will not work. Also, the script will only send alerts for the pairs selected in the study settings, not for the current chart (if different).
How to use:
- Add the script to the current chart
- Open the study settings , insert bot details and select 12 pairs. You should write the pairs manually, using the format BTC , ADA, ETH, etc. They MUST be in capital letters or 3commas will not recognize them.
- Still in the study settings, tweak the deal start/close conditions from various indicators until happy. The study will plot the entry / exit points below the current chart (1 = buy, 2 = sell)
- Make sure your strategy works for all the pairs you have selected, simply by checking each chart with the same study settings
- When happy, right click on the "..." next to the study name, then "Add alert'".
- Under "Condition", on the second line, chose "Any alert () function call". Add the webhook from 3commas, give it a name, and "create".
That's it.
Notes:
- If you insert coins that are not available for the quote currency and exchange of your choosing, the script will not work and return an error.
- Make sure you run tests with paper trading or dummy bots (i.e without actual bot ID) to ensure your alerts trigger as intended on all coins.
- If alerts trigger too much (i.e they all trigger at the same time for all coins), Trading View will stop the alert. So probably not ideal for a scalping bot. It could also be the sign the script doesn't work as intended.
- The script is a bit slow on my side. I am a beginner in pinescript, so if anyone knows how to simplify it, please let me know.
- if anyone knows how to tell the script to function with less than 12 pairs (when not filling the 12 fields in the setting), please also let me know :)
